How can I make money on the BAWSAQ stock market in GTA V without being on Xbox Live?
It seems like investing in the stock market in GTA V is the best way to make a lot of money. These are the stocks other gamers have suggested to invest in before the assassination missions: Hotel Assassination: Beta Pharmaceuticals The Redwood Cigarette Assassination: Debonaire Cigarettes The Vice Assassination: Fruit The Bus Assassination: Vapid - buy afterwards The Construction Assassination: Gold Coast The Big Score: Gold Coast However, I didn't sign in my Xbox Live account when I started the game (don't ask me why) so I can't buy stocks like Beta Pharmaceuticals, Vapid, Fruit, and Tinkle which are listed only on BAWSAQ. Are there comparable stocks on the LCN that I can buy instead?

No. That would take Rockstar's time. Rockstar would rather make updates to let us make less money on missions and games. Rockstar logic.

It is worth getting it, as the assassinations will mainly change BAWSAQ companies only a couple affect the LCN market. It is the only way to make BIG money in GTA V. Make sure you look up the guides to the assassinations to maximise profits.
Why is BAWSAQ not working in GTA V with internet connection on and signed in Xbox Live?
I completed GTA V story for the second time and with the money from "The Big Score" I am trying to make more with Lester's Assassination Missions. For the 'Vice Assassination' Mission i need to invest in FRT(Fruit) which is on BAWSAQ, but when I go to BAWSAQ it shows the "Down for Maintenance" Error and as a result I cannot invest in the market. Everything else is running fine, I can use Snapmatic to upload pictures, share songs , access the Xbox Live Gamestore, etc.I have all the updates in which the last one was the 'Business Update". I know it uses internet connection and my internet is fine and I am logged into Xbox Live ; Only BAWSAQ is not working

can the stock market really be manipulated by the player in gta5 im talking about when you are in free roam not just when lester gives you people to assassinate for your benefit on stocks because when lester was giving me all these people to assassinate i had no idea how the stock market worked so i couldn't take advantage of it but now that i have learned a little about how to buy stocks and when to sell in gta5 i want to know if there is a way to have the odds in my favor by blowing stuff up or killing peds or stuff like that in free roam or am i stuck just listening to hints on the radio

The most money you can make in GTA V legally (lolwut?) Would be by stock trading. The assassination missions have a huge effect on the BAWSAQ markets. Obviously if you invest more then your returns will be higher. So what people do is wait for the storyline missions to get over and then start the assassination missions. Read about it online and invest before you start the mission as you cannot change character while the mission is ongoing.1 - lolwut because we are assassinating someone. So that's not legal. But it doesn't involve any hacks or cheats that would require patching up. 2 - after I read BAWSAQ as B*ll S*ck I can't help but wonder whether Rockstar did that on purpose.
