Do the Ottawa Senators have a good chance of winning the Stanley Cup?
If you had asked me the same question before the Eastern Conference Finals had started, I would have said that the Senators had no chance. Easy blowout by the dominant Penguins, right?Boy was I wrong. The Ottawa Senators are one of the few teams that prove that sometime defense can be the best offence. Let me give you some reasons why Ottawa Senators have a chance of winning, followed by my final predictions:The Senators Defense: Erik Karlsson, playing on a fractured heel, is by far the best defenseman in the league. With him in the mix the Senators are completely neutralizing any offence by an opposing team. Oh, and you thought that they would finally meet their match against the Penguins, arguably the best offence in the league? They won Game 1 2–1, holding the Penguins to only one goal. They held the Penguins to one goal in Game 2 also, albeit losing in a 1–0 shutout. And as I am writing this, Game 3 is finishing up with the Senators blowing out the Penguins 5–1 (!)The Senators momentum:Winning Game 1 was shocking enough. Holding the Penguins to 1 goal in Game 2 was a good omen. Blowing out the Pens 5–1 in Game 3 is going to put the Senators in an incredibly good position, and give them a push with a crazy amount of momentum.The Senators DefenseSeriously. You don’t do that to the Pens in the playoffs.Final predictions for the series? It all comes down to how much the Penguins show up for Game 4. If they are held to low scoring and lose, they’re out in my books. If they win with a decent number of points, then the series may get a little bit more tight.Stanley Cup Winners?If the Senators can beat the Penguins, I believe they have what it takes to beat both the Predators and the Ducks (in which i’m leaning towards the Predators). I would give the Senators about a 35% chance of winning the Cup at this point, the highest of any team right now.

Now that the Chicago Blackhawks has won the Stanley Cup, now what should their slogan be for at least the 2010-211 NHL hockey season. In less you have been living in a cave, the last couple of years, they have used One Goal. Can they use it again, but this time their one goal is to be defend the Stanley Cup? Or is it time for them to get a whole new slogan? But what should their slogan be now, and why do you think that they should have that for their slogan?
Are the Blackhawks the next dynasty?
As a Blackhawks fan, I don't think so. The existence of a salary cap makes dynasties next to impossible. However, there is no one true definition of a dynasty. Some might think of a dynasty differently in the salary cap era. Despite the fact that the Hawks are the first NHL team to win the Cup twice in the salary cap era, I still don't think they're any sort of a dynasty.

What is the song they play at the united center when the other team gets a penalty and the hawks are about to start a power play? It sounds kinda techno/dubstep ish and I'm almost positive it's new for the 2013 season
