Will The Mps Stop Me For This

Why do people hate MPs?

Because what kind of person would join the military to harass and arrest other Soldiers? MPs have egos the size of Texas and delude themselves into thinking they have any real police training. Here's a tip, your 12 week AIT doesn't come close to your standard police academy. Furthermore, a bunch of people join the MPs thinking it will help them get into the CIA, FBI or real police. WRONG! They actually discourage people from the MPs because you learn things the wrong way.

I'll come out and say it, I hate MPs. Some dipshit private backed up into me when I was leaving the PX. Did the right thing and called the MPs. Little SOBs let the Private Mafia set me up and I got ticketed for it. When I went to complain, they told me that the E-2 who wrote the ticket analyzed the scene and determined I was at fault. Sorry, some 19 year old fresh from AIT isn't qualfiied to determine what day it is, let alone the physics of a fender bender.

Stay away from the MPs. You want to be in the military, be in the military; not the turncoats who get their jollies messing with people in uniform.

How can being an MP in the ARMY help me become a cop in the near future?

Well my friend, this will most likely be your best answer:

I myself am joining the Army, and my MOS will be Military Police(31B). MP will teach you arresting tactics, laws, procedures, train you to use police dogs, etc... Military Police is the hardest police training on the planet (for the exception of like swat forces) so pretty much you will be ready for anything police academies throw at you later in life. Only difference is MP is Federal Laws, and Police, and State Police aren't. Also being in the military alone will help you get a job as a cop, let alone being in Military Police. If you had to pick from 10 applications and all were average people out of school, etc... and then you had one who served 6 years in the Army, came out as a Sergeant and his job was Military Police... who would you pick? Obviously the MP guy...

After I get out of the army, im going to be a cop for a year or two and then go to the state police academy... if you have any further ?'s msg me on AIM name is Jurgill08, Trust me I did my homework on this stuff..

MPs stopped me and i blew a .36 is that alot?

You should probably seek counseling before this turns into total alcoholism (if it isn't already). There is a difference between physiological and situational tolerance to alcohol. What you may have been experiencing was a higher situational tolerance, but your body still metabolizes alcohol at the same rate no matter how much you drink on a daily basis (barring how much protein you ate before drinking, which can slightly increase metabolism). I understand that the military has a stigma for high consumption of alcohol but if you are telling the truth about this, these habits are very unbecoming of someone serving in the military, no matter what branch.

My husband got arrested on base will he get njpd?

My husband was in the car in front of me @ the front of the gate the MP gave him the go and told him to put his seatbelt on so my husband starts to put his seatbelt on and begins driving the MP yells @ him to stop my husband stops his car and reverses to come back and the lcpl MP proceeds to chew out my husband who is a CPL. My husband reminds the guy to not be disrespectful because he is a higher rank puts his seatbelt on and continues to get onto the base. (When the lcpl disrespect was brought up the mps said their billet is higher so technically they can be disrespectful to a 4 star general apparently eve) Without a warning the guy calls other MPs and they stop him for running the gate. (Which makes no sense because he stopped no lie 15 ft away from the gate the kid didn't call him back this time and already gave him the go) They check his license and it says suspended. So they arrest him and take away driving privileges. HOWEVER here is the kicker. We are from Florida and stationed in NC so we have NC insurance we were previously w/ GEICO and changed to progressive so GEICO calls fl dmv and tells fl we are not covered and fl did not check that we had insurance with anyone else and that we were military so the suspension was a mistake on their behalf. A letter of clearance was made available to my husband and FL dmv apologized to me but it was fixed within the same hour of arrest. SO my question here is what can he get in trouble for? ...I was here for all of this and viewed the whole thing so I know thiss is exactly what happened...so yeah can he gewt an njp or what do u think may happen..oh and he is aA marine at lejeune

In government what does MP stand for?

Memeber of Parliament

Domestic assault in the military?

(Army) Me and my wife got in an argument and someone called the mps on base. We now have a 72 hour cool down and the mps told me I would be on the bladder report? Will this keep me from deploying next month?

Why is it that in the UK when a member of the public calls an MP a Nazi, they are arrested and prosecuted but when an MP does it they're not? Do they not have freedom of speech in the UK anymore or are there different rules for MPs?

There are different rules for MPs speaking in the House of Commons (it's called “Parliamentary Privilege”). Effectively, they can't face civil or criminal penalties for anything they may say in the chamber in the course of official business, although they can under some circumstances face internal parliamentary sanctions.I'm not familiar with the specifics of the cases to which you're referring (but on the offchance you're talking about the James Goddard case, he's not been arrested and prosecuted simply for “calling Anna Soubry a Nazi”, he's been arrested and is being prosecuted for allegedly repeatedly shouting and chanting at Soubry and pursuing her while shouting a whole range of insults including, among others, “scum”, “Nazi” and “traitor” (the charges suggest that some of the other terms were racial or religious abuse but I haven't watched Mr Goddard's videos so I'm not sure what they were). If he'd simply been (say) interviewed on TV and said “Anna Soubry is a Nazi” he'd have been fine.)(Ah, right, the David Lammy thing is the other half of it. His remarks aren’t covered by Parliamentary privilege, but are covered by the fact that he didn’t follow JRM around harassing him.)
