Will The One Wrong Information At Ordering Affect On My Delivery

Questions/Opinion regarding USPS/Delivery?

Well recently I ordered 4 items, 3 are shipped and one is still awaiting.

One package being shipped from California is currently in Houston (where I am from), but it says "Possible delay in delivery due to arrival at incorrect carrier facility"

1)What is going on? Will I be affected by it, today is Saturday, when do you think it will arrive?

And another package shipped from Florida is in Dallas, near Houston,
2) When do you think it will arrive?

3) I believe I got standard shipping but the items are near overnight. Will the USPS hold the items for a while or deliver right away?

Reminder, it is currently the weekend (saturday).

If I messed up a Zip Code extension on an order, will that affect the shipping?

If the main 5-digit zip code is correct as well as the other address information, I don't foresee any problem. I suppose there could be a 1-day delay as 'they' route it to the zip+4 number and then realize that's no address that matches there. Then someone uses a marker on the shipping label to block out the extension (+4) number, and then your package will be back on track.

Here's my side note: I ordered a few things from Amazon.com on Sept 12. No problem. My address is correct on the site (I just use the 5-digit zip code although I do know the +4 extension). I have received many parcels at this address. This time, BOTH parcels went to a different city (Redmond, WA) instead of Seattle, WA. How that happened, I don't know (lol). However, both parcels arrived today after they figured out what mistake *they* had made. On time within the estimated delivery window. Strange how they got routed to an entirely different city! [I was confused because the parcels *were* in Seattle, and then somehow got routed to Redmond ... and then routed back to Seattle. (lol). Umm, downtown Seattle is hard to mistake, and the address and 5-digit zip code I gave 'them' was of course correct.]

How long does Fedex Ground take to deliver?

Across the country might take 7 business days - and neither Saturday nor Sunday count. They only do Saturday delivery if you have paid extra for that service. If not, then they only deliver Mon-Fri.

When you need it makes no difference to Fed Ex. It will follow their regular transport and delivery sequence. However, if you have a tracking number from the seller - which they should provide - that will tell you exactly where it is and their estimated delivery date is usually quite accurate.

When the tracking information says "out for delivery" or words to that effect, then you will get it that day - but no one can tell you when. We get deliveries any time from 8 am to 9 pm.

Special ordered birthday cake gone wrong- what would you do?

You should have taken pictures in to the manager and complained that what you got was NOT what you specified and what kind of restitution can they give you on future orders?
They may not do anything because you technically took the cake when delivered and didn't refuse it and they may bring that up saying so. Next time have it delievered the day before so if it's wrong you can refuse the order and have time to go get a sheet cake or two for them to put HAPPY BIRTHDAY on for you. Either that or complain to the store and tell them you will NOT be using their bakery in the future because of the way they messed up your order this time and you will be sure that you tell everyone who asks about what happened.

I spelled the city wrong on a package that I am sending to my friend! Will the Post Office reject it?

I'm so stressed out!

I am having something shipped out to a friend that I bought online as a gift. I put in the right address, state and zip code (5 digit), but I realized two days later that I spelled the city wrong (Brookville instead of Brookeville). The area of the zip code is very small (it really only has like two cities)

I can't believe I made a stupid mistake like that. I worry that the post office won't recognize the mail and send it back, delaying it for my friend!

Lost Walmart order arrived after getting a refund. Now Walmart says I owe them $.?

I ordered some edging for my garden bed online at Walmart.com.
It was supposed to arrive by a certain date via FedEx.
A week had passed after the scheduled arrival date and my package had not arrived. I next contacted Walmart via online chat. They say my package has been lost and would I like a refund. Of course, I said yes.
Two weeks later FedEx delivers the package.
Now Walmart (wmcompayments) has sent me an email about a failed payment for my order.
They want me to call them and I don't want to. My attitude is somebody made a mistake. Not me. On the other hand, I don't want to have my credit score affected if I ignore the email. (I don't know if it could be) Any advice is appreciated.

I ordered an item on Amazon then cancelled it successfully before it shipped. When do I get a refund?

I think your answer is pretty well covered by the other comments, but I did want to add just one thing- please note that Amazon is responsible for issuing the refund, not the seller. Amazon does not release any card or payment information other than the amount and who you need to ship the product to to the seller. The seller has no control over when you actually receive your refund (other than requesting it to be sent to you). Once they have released the refund, it is out of their hands, and you will need to contact Amazon directly in order to get more information about when your funds will actually be deposited back into your account, or credited back to your card. The individual seller will not be able to give you any information like that.
