Will the two witnesses travel around the world?

How will they enter in the countries (visa etc) being hated worldwide?

How will they have money to travel?

Will be the 144000 warriors?

Rev 17
Rev 11,

What do Jehovah's Witnesses think Armageddon will be like?

We all know what they think of "Paradise", we see the answers about learning various languages, sitting with Lions, I saw one woman say she wanted to fly. (???) etc etc, but do they ever talk about what the actual event of Armageddon will be like, and the immediate aftermath?

The carnage and destruction? Fixing the earth, how do you think you'll do that? Cleaning up billions of dead bodies. Will your children understand it and be ok with it? Will they be afraid, and cry, or will they be happy to see what their God Jehovah does to people who don't believe the Watchtower? How will you clear out trash and rubbish? Destroyed vehicles? Collapsed buildings? Can you get the blood out of the water, or will God give you knew water to drink? How long exactly will you be working to make the earth a paradise? Will the Watchtower organization continue giving you "spiritual food"? How will they get you your magazines? Will they be in charge?

I know, you only have the basics of what Armageddon will be. But you only have the basics of what paradise would be as well, and your imaginations seem very vivid on that. so can you apply it to Armageddon and post-Armageddon.

What do they think it will be like?

If you could go back in time and be a "fly on the wall" and witness how one event transpired, what would you choose?

If the Doctor and their companion would take me to Copenhagen, on the evening of September 17th, I would be very grateful. It is the evening of The Mysterious Meeting between Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg. We don’t know what exactly has been said in the conversation of the two geniuses, although we know that Heisenberg was already in the nuclear bomb project for the Reich and that it had to come up in the conversation, one way or the other.Photo of Werner Heisenberg (physicist) and Niels Bohr (physicist) taken after the war [source: The Mysterious Meeting between Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg]This event is the central theme of Copenhagen (play) and the film starring Daniel Craig (actor), Stephen Rea and Francesca Annis: what happened on that day, what did Bohr and Heisenberg say, how did it start and how did it end? The play and the film give multiple possible scenarios of the evening for us to see and interpret in this World War Two Rashomon. It’s just like wave function and an existence of this meeting in a superposition of states. If I could be a fly on the wall, an observer (you know how important observers are in quantum physics) I could collapse the wave function and deliver the story of the Copenhagen meeting.

Can one possibly witness the sunset twice on the same day?

Yes, it is absolutely possible. And you don't even need to travel from one side of the earth to other or climb Burj Khalifa. All you will need is:Your body (the taller you are the better).2 countries sharing a coast line(there are plenty), andPermission to cross the border along the coast. Now this what you need to do, during sunset:Sunset#1: Lie down on your stomach on the coast of country-1 just along the border and watch the sunset over the water.Sunset#2: Just when you see the topmost tip of the sun set, pop up, step to the other side of border to country-2 and see the sun setting all over again, standing.Following image explains why you will see the sun setting twice:Voila, you just witnessed the sun setting twice on the same day in two different countries.

Jehovah’s Witnesses: What exactly is a chat violation and how can I avoid being reported for them?

The reason why Jehovah's Witnesses tend to avoid the Salvation Army (although not all do) is because this organization considers itself a religion, and based on 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, we tend not to support religions that do not believe as we do.

The businesses that you cited may do the things that you say that they do (I haven't patronized them in a long time), but they are also known lately in the news for supporting certain political opinions. If we avoided all stores and businesses whose managers or owners have political or religious views, we might as well become hermits, and that isn't in harmony with the scripture in 1 Corinthians 5: 9-11. These are businesses, and if we were to go there, we may not necessarily be supporting their views, we may just want to get a chicken sandwich, or a picture frame. So each Jehovah's witness would have to decide if the music or the atmosphere of a business is comfortable enough to go there and conduct business without involving themselves in a political stance. Jesus said we should be no part of the world, just as he is no part of the world. John 17:16.

I suspect that whoever reported a violation for your question felt that you gave the impression that we have some kind of list of businesses that we are mandated by someone to not patronize. We don't, and to give the impression that we do, buys into the accusation by some people that those who teach among us impose unreasonable and heavy man-made regulations on us. That, too, is not true - we have a wonderful freedom of choice when it comes to conscience matters.(Romans 2:14-15)

Although there are a few organizations that have been cited in our literature because there was a question as to whether they are businesses or religious organizations, mostly we are guided by the principles in holy scriptures that I just cited above, and our own Bible trained conscience.

I hope that I clearly answered your question, and also the question that you asked before.

What is the objective and importance of the two witnesses spoken about in Revelation?

The two Witness are mentioned at Revelation 11:1–3“NWT:Revelation And a reed like a rod was given to me as he said: “Get up and measure the temple sanctuary of God and the altar and those worshipping in it. 2 But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple sanctuary, leave it out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for 42 months. 3 I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days dressed in sackcloth.”Importance:In this case these symbolic “two witnesses” of the God of the temple would be Christian witnesses of the Most High God, for the apostle John was being shown things that were yet to come to pass, not things of past Jewish history. The apostle John classed himself as one of the Christian witnesses. At the time of this Revelation to John, the rebuilt temple at Jerusalem in the Roman province of Judea had been destroyed along with the holy city back in the year 70 of our Common Era, just as the Messiah, Jesus Christ, had predicted. Because of becoming a disciple of the Messiah, whom the Jewish nation had rejected, John had parted company with the unbelieving natural Israelites. He no longer depended on his being an Israelite by birth as a basis for relationship with the Almighty God of armies. He depended on his being a spiritual Israelite, one begotten by the spirit of God, for having relationship with the Almighty God of armies. John was now a ‘Jew on the inside.’ His circumcision was “that of the heart by spirit.”Objective:So, in the Revelation to John, those who are spoken of by God as “my two witnesses” are spiritual Israelites, dedicated, baptized followers of the Messiah whom John followed, namely, Jesus Christ.Hope this answers your question. Have a great day

Literature suggestions for Jehovah's Witness student?

I have a 9th grade boy who just today (!) shared that he cannot read most the of the reading list for the year. Lord of the Flies, Romeo and Juliet, The Odyssey, To Kill a Mockingbird, and almost all of the textbook violate some aspect of his religious beliefs

I have consulted the librarian, two administrators, my department chair, and other veteran teachers. We are all struggling with finding acceptable novels that are on grade level and can be paired with what I need to teach him.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, please help me out! I would be so appreciative.

Oh, and I have tried talking with his father. No one in the household, besides my student, can read so there are no books. :)
