Was the Beautiful Creatures Movie as Good as the Book?

i don't want to sound harsh or hateful, but I hated the movie. They changed so many things, and left out a lot, and put in things that never happened. Some things they could have easily put in and it really pissed me off in how it was released. Honestly if you want to see it I can't stop you, but I was ranting the whole time and if you loved the books as much as me, you will be ranting to.

I just watched beautiful creatures last night and am very intrigued by the story, however since I saw the movie I dont really want to read the first book but start on the second one. Does the movie end where the first book left off? Or am I missing major things the book had that the movie didn't. Thank you.

As for more movies, it will probably depend on how the first one sells. If people seem to like it, then they will make a second one. I hope they will make all the movies though :)

It most likely won't. However, there is a chance that they may, if beautiful creatures wins the categories they were nominated for in the teen choice awards, they may attract attention. Therefore, leading the producers to believe that a beautiful darkness movie may rake in a few millions for them. So vote! Twilight is nominated for the same categories they're in, so hopefully beautiful creatures fans participate in teamwork and vote enough to beat twilight. Although, I kinda doubt it.

Also, if you buy the movie rather than watching it online for free, that may help. All in all, they just want/need money.

In the movie "Stargate"--how did they make that creature?

According to the special features, it was actually a horse for the large shots that had the creature suit on, and when they had the creature running away with Jackson, it was as suited-up dog with a doll tied to it.
