Will This Actually Affect Me Getting A Job In The Future

Will getting suspended affect your future ( college/job)?

Well while I was in yr3,4,5 I was a really good student and I was always top of the class and I always got lots of awards and I was always the teacher's favorite but there was this girl and she kept bullying me and she threatened me not to tell anyone or else she would tell everyone that I cheated in tests and copied out of her homework book because I forgot to do my own (completely not true!!!) and well one day I got really mad and blurt out "why would I even want to copy out of YOUR homework book your writing is messy and you don't even glue in half the stuff the teacher tells u to you don't get anything right in your Maths and English homework!!!!" and I guess the teacher must have heard me bcoz for the next 2 hrs the teacher makes me write "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry etc.) on the board I also got detention and she gets nothing for kicking, punching, hitting me with a ruler so hard that it breaks, pushing me over and stealing my stuff, ruining my artwork, homework and my life... So one day I made a grp on fb and said some really rude things about her and I added everyone of my friends that were in my school to it(that knew her) I made sure that it was on secret mode so that no one outside of the group could see it but I guess someone must've betrayed us bcoz that girl's mum found out then she rang the principal and so one day the assistant principal came and took me and my friends (who aren't really my friends anymore bcoz of the trouble I got them in) to the library and we had a little chat about suspension but bcoz of my good history ( awards, top of class) she decided she'll give me quadruple detention bcoz I made the grp and she gave my "friends"triple detention for saying the things they did... And ever since that day I've never got into any extra curricular groups like swim team or cross country team , Maths team, FPS (future problem solving - for extremely gifted students only) science team and I've never been a leader in anything either such as the house leader, the choir leader i haven't got any special jobs either all I've got is "wet day monitor" which means I have to look after out of control yr3s on rainy lunchtimes and now no teacher believes I can be" responsible and mature" Its been like 3 years but I've felt guilty everyday of my life since that day
and I'm really worried this might affect my chances of getting into a good university or even my chance of getting a good job

Can car repo affect my job.. or future jobs that i will be applying for?

Yes car repossession will affect your credit and your ability to get future jobs. A car repossession can definitely affect your credit. Here is how the process works. Let's say you can no longer afford to make your monthly payments. By the time your discover that you are probably two or three payments past due. This is already showing up on your credit report as 30 or 60 days past due. It gets even worse if the repossession takes place.

Now ABC company repossesses your car and let's assume you owe $9,000 on your auto loan. Once the company repossesses your car they will sell it for whatever they can. If they sell it for $5,000 you still owe $4,000 and they will bill you and expect you to pay the balance even though you no longer own the car. This shows up on your credit report as a repossessed item and it will show up as a charged off account or an I-9. An I-9 stands for an installment loan, ( I), and when a loan is charged off that means company ABC is submitting your loan account as a loss because they feel it is no longer collectible.

If you ever try to apply for credit for another company they will take a look at your credit report and see that you have a repossession and this will severely impact your ability to get credit in the future. This could remain on your credit file for seven years. Bad credit can sometimes stop you from getting a job, a credit card and sometimes you will be forced to pay higher premiums on your auto insurance.

Does your high school GPA actually matter? How will this affect my future?

I can answer this. I graduated high school with about a 3.5, and went to Dartmouth. I only got into Dartmouth because of my test scores and because I did a bunch of other crazy stuff in high school (state debate champion, wrote over 100 published newspaper articles) and had a sudden flash of inspiration when writing my essay (one of those creative, risky essays that happened to pay off).If I had had a higher GPA, I might have gotten into Harvard or Yale, I suppose. And that would have made my life different in some way.But more importantly, getting a B average in school when I could have gotten an A -- but using the energy to do a bunch of awesome crazy shit instead -- that's just who I am.In college, this became even more exaggerated. I graduated with a 2.71 GPA -- and a company that had 8 part-time employees. And I went from being 100% unathletic to being captain of the boxing team, and bodybuilding (random!) Basically, I didn't really care about competing for things that too many other people were competing for, especially when the rewards weren't that high. While my life today looks very different from my life as a teenager, you could kind of sum it all up with, "She skates through the requirements she doesn't care about and then BOOM she hits you with some giant audacious project she's done that came out of nowhere!"I always say: do things that don't have applications. Pitch employers on hiring you for a job that doesn't exist yet, so you're the only candidate. Don't submit your portfolio to a contest against thousands; instead, put on your own exhibition. Etc.I did later go to grad school, so this was the only time my undergrad grades really came up. Once I got into college, my high school grades never came up again at all. I have to say, though, getting into an Ivy did do a lot for me, so I wouldn't slack off unless you have a whole lot of other factors going for you (2200+ SAT, plus something else that shows dedication and work ethic, not just native intelligence). If you're anything like me, the decision you make now will be a lot like the decisions you make later on, so choose wisely.

Will getting a tattoo affect my job potential as a teacher?

wanting to be a grade school teacher, or maybe a missionary possibly even. lol, not sure...but wanting to be in some kind of ministry, and teaching. anyways, wanted a wrist or upper arm tattoo, prob not real small, and pretty noticable.

i don't want to ruin my career potential by getting a single tattoo. to think that one irreversible decision could block me from what i really want to do b/c ppl don't like tattoos makes me really upset and nervous. i would feel like i couldn't be proud of it, and always have to hide it b/c i would be worried i'd be judged or not get the job.

i know it sounds like i've already kinda talked myself out of it, but idk.

can my ministry happen? can i teach? thoughts?

Tattoos affect do they have affect on your future life college wise job wise?

hmmm...you should have thought about this before you got the ink! but tattoos are more and more prevalent, i wouldn't worry too much. i would think the computer field is more forgiving of tattoos than say a more corporate career...but if i were you, i wouldn't get anymore.

Will getting fired from sonic at age 17 affect me when applying for future jobs?

Basically I got fired during my 3rd week for something really stupid at sonic. The manager who fired me never really liked me but the other ones do. And everyone says I got fired for a stupid reason and that I should talk to the owner about it to see if I can still work there. I don't really need to work there and schools coming up so I need to focus on that but I was wondering if it'd affect me when applying for jobs in the future cause if it does I may go back and try to work a little while longer before quitting and focusing more on school.

How does getting backlogs effect your future opportunities in an engineering course?

Not much. Let’s understand it in more details.Getting backlogs may have different meanings and different effects:1. Getting some backlogs and still completing B.E. in 4 years - does not affect much2. Getting backlogs and completing B.E. in 5 years - Still manageable3. Getting backlogs and completing B.E. in 6 or 6+ years - Little more difficultA major hard time one may face is to get “entry” into IT world i.e. first job.Now a days, there are some companies which entertain people from options 1/2/3 above and hence can enable one to sit for campus placement. If you are not eligible for campus placement, Chill, it’s not end of the world - but start of the real world. Here is what you can do in such case:Identify which field you really like to pursue - Development/Testing/SupportIf Development - Java/php/.net/etc… i.e. Be specific with your goal.If Testing - Manual/Automated testingIf Support - Desktop Support(Locla IT) /Server support/Windows/Unix/Cloud/Bigdata/Storage/etc… For all Support field, it’s always beneficial to get hold of at least one scripting language - shell-SED-AWK/php/python/etc…Once you have narrowed down to what exactly you want to do - identify the top-notch certification for that technology and GET IT DONE.NOTE: When I say certification, I am not referring to mere certification but a certification obtained by hard work and hand-on experience.Once you have relevant certification in hand, your chances of getting selected are more. Your hands-on experience is going to be the key to get you the job.Once you are into IT, you have an opportunity to cover the backlog problem by doing a great job, being innovative, doing relevant certifications and being Smart. In such case, I would strongly recommend staying with first organization for 1.5–2 years.Always remember, Life is full of opportunities and to grab then you need to keep your senses open. Take calculated risks and excel in what you chose as your field.Cheers !
