Is it inappropriate to name my puppy Oreo?
My family recently got a dalmation puppy and I want to name it Oreo. My mom said it's not a good idea because Oreo can be a racist term. But if it just means black on the outside and white on the inside I don't see how that comes into play with my dogs name. Your thoughts?

Is a locket an inappropriate gift?
Is a locket an inappropriate gift to give to a girl I have only been seeing for a short while? I have been going out with my girlfriend for a little more than a month, but this week I saw this really cute locket and bought it thinking she would really like it. It's a antiqued copper, heart-shaped locket with a matching chain that has a little sparrow where the clasp is and light pink pearls on both sides of the clasp--she adores birds and she loves light pink. I put a picture of us on one side and a picture of us kissing(cute kissing, not like hard core snogging) in a photo booth on the other. But I think it might be to soon in the relationship to give it to her. Should I hold on to it for a few months, or is it ok to just give it to her now?
Is it inappropriate to take a bottle of wine to a funeral as a gift?

If you feel the person will appreciate a bottle of wine given as condolences for their loss then it is not inappropriate at all.I think it is very appropriate for a celebration of life where people will be drinking and holding a party to look back fondly upon the life of the deceased in a happy manner.If you are in doubt, a floral arrangement is always a safe bet. Zelda hit the nail on the head. However, giving wine as a gift at a funeral is not inappropriate, just be sure to give it after the services rather than when you pay your initial respects.

And no one is going to think of it as weird, cuz, who doesn’t love presents from people besides their bestie and family?? You might even end up becoming more than friends.Let me give you an example: My best guy friend aka my crush’s b’day was 3 weeks away, and I really wanted to give him a great present. After getting him the right one, he was so happy that our friendship grew even closer (until some person i know ruined it, but that’s another story…).So don’t overthink when you have that want to gift someone you care about, just for it!
Who thinks that the asker should be able to remove inappropriate answers and take back the points?
If you agree let yahoo answers know! I see allot dumb, cruel and inapproprate answers. Things like "thanx for the two points" and nothing else,they call you a retard or some other name, or they say something mean instead of answering you. The asker should be able to remove that answer and doc the person who did it at least the 2 points if not more. This could be done with a box you could check next to the answer that marks it for removal by a modator. Then if the moderator agrees it is mean or inappropriate he finishes the removal process and retracts points from the person who made the inappropriate comnment or answer on a sliding scale proportionate to the severity of the inapropriate behavior.
Would it be considered inappropriate for my step daughter to watch me breastfeed?
My step daughter is ten and I'm pregnant with my first child, a baby girl. We're planning on having a water birth at the hospital, and she may or may not be in the room when that happens. Either way, we want her to be the first person aside from my husband and I to see our new baby. I also plan on breastfeeding soon after the birth. I don't have any problem with her seeing it, but I'm wondering if it would be considered "normal" or not. To me, it is just a natural part of life and being that she is female, I think it would be appropriate and a good way for the three of us to bond and she may even learn something from it. My husband says he sees nothing wrong with it because we're all girls. I just want to make sure there's nothing "wrong" with it. I don't plan on broadcasting it to my whole family, but if they found out would they think it was weird? I know my mother would never do such a thing, but she is an extremely private, modest, self conscious type person.
