Will This Daily Workout Do Me Much Good

Is burning 350 calories a good workout?

Sure is! Don't forget, you're body burns most of your calories (Provided that you are dieting). 350 is great. The measurement thing is actually not entirely accurate though.

It goes by a person doing the exercise at their ideal BMI. So if you are overweight the exercise might not really burn 350, but 420 calories (Don't know if that's how the math would turn out. Just using that as an example).

The same thing can be said about a person who is in above average shape. An exercise that reads on a counter 350 calories burn to them might really only be 250 since they are in better shape.

Don't get too hung up on the numbers. Just keep dieting and exercising. 350 by any counter is sufficient.

Can you suggest a daily workout routine for beginners?

Before starting, always keep these in mind -Never skip meals, especially Breakfast. Some workout is better than none.Rest Day is equally important as Leg day.As for the exercises, keep it a mix. Some popular ones you want to start with are Deadlift, Squats, Pull Ups, Bench press, and of course Dumbbells. About 30% of your workout is recommended Cardio. One final piece of advice :Now get out of your comfort zone and start your workout. Don’t worry about the results. Eventually you will see them. Stay focussed.

500 pushups a day workout?

It's in how you do them. Pushups have really helped me to tone my upper body and work the abs as well, but they don't lead to much bulk. Important things to remember about pushups is don't cheat yourself, do a full pushup everytime. If you do less, do less... but do them right. A nice even tempo (about one a second) is good too. Lookup how to do them correctly in proper position. Do different styles/positions of pushups on different days. The routine that's really been working for me is 5 sets of 20, REST FIVE MINUTES five sets of 30 REST FIVE MINUTEs and five sets of 40. In between each set you should rest 60 seconds. That gets my chest really warm and I usually do it before I go for a jog.

It's a simple common math formula, you can set it lower or higher... 50%,75%,100%...... first do half of your high number to warm up, then do 75% of your high number, and then 100%.... so 5 sets of 10, 5 sets of 15, and 5 sets of 20.... or five sets of 30, five sets of 45 and five sets of 60.

I use this same formula for squats and abs and leg lifts and pullups... it's great. I start out low and I increase the numbers over time. My main agenda is not to bulk up, but tone up. You'd use a different method for bulk.

Doing much more than five hundred pushups can lead to strain. Listen to your body. Lift out of your shoulders so you don't grind or feel unnatural strain. keep your posture, don't sink. And breath! It's easy to forget to breath, very bad for your heart. And think about opposing muscles and excercises you cna do to counterbalance the new muscles you're making. 4 days a week will do you as much good as you need.

And one more thing... I'm 6 foot and 180lbs.... but I was always 155 160 and could never gain mass. If you really want to gain mass, then pushups with a 145lbs frame aren't going to help you much. You have to do resistance training in a gym with less sets and more weight. HOWEVER, pushups will build some chest and arms, and whatever bulk you do get from weight training will look and feel much better if you do pushups because they'll be more ripped and better for performance (if you play sports or anything). Bulk is only good if its backed by endurance and agility. That's my opinion.

Will eating 1000 calories and 30 minute workout a day make me lose 13 pounds?

Ok so I recently asked how I can lose 13 lbs, and some person said "1000 calories and 30 minutes of exercise daily." So if I do that, do you think I will lose the 13 pounds?
If it matters, I'm 14, 5'4", and 133 pounds!

Is it good to work out every day? If not, how often should you work out?

When I first started going to the gym I would do 3 day or 4 day training splits.A three day training split would look like this, push, pull, legs, and then a rest day. Then repeat the processes.Eventually however after about the first two years of my weight training career I started to go to the gym every single day. I would go until my body decided it needed a rest day which averaged out to be about every 7-10 days.I remember distinctly one time last year when I was cutting that I went to the gym 23-28 days in a row without a rest day.Is that bad?Not necessarily. I felt great. I was shredded and had a decent amount of muscle mass on my body.I achieved what I was aiming for a aesthetic looking body. It’s not that I needed to go to the gym every single day it was more just because I enjoy it so much. You can add on muscle or lose fat by going to the gym 4-5 times a week no problem.Whatever you decided just make sure you are getting ample amounts of rest when you sleep. That’s where the muscle gains and fat loss happen.

Will 15 minutes of daily exercise help ?

Anything is better than nothing, but to really see results you need to do at least 30, 45 is even better. Start off doing 15 min for a week or so, and then gradually increase it by 5 minutes a week. You need to do it all together. To really get the benifits, you need to keep your heart rate going for at least 30 minutes. If you want to do an hour, you can do 2 30 minute sessions. It depends on how fast you want to lose it. Don't forget to eat right, drink water and get at least 8 hours of zzzzs.

All of these things will be great for your heart. If you are a smoker, stopping will improve your heart as well. 3 years after stopping smoking, your heart will be in the same shape as a non-smoker.
