Will Walking Help Me Get A Flat Tummy

Does power walking help you lose belly fat?

yes walking will help to loose fat around the stomach area. Its is very important that you remember to breath properly in through nose and out (some say through nose others say through mouth).
Another important point is tomake sure you are holding your back straight and your abdomin in tight. Actually if you do this at all time it will help you to strengthen your stomach muscles.
Don't give up!!! The stomach area for both men and women is one of the last places that fat is burned. For instance women will first loose fat around the chest, arms, and upper body, then in the butt, thighs, and stomach.

So to help even out you make want to work in a weight lifting program for your upper body, No rush though you'll know when its time for you to kick it up another knotch.

the key is not to give up because if you notice that your face looks slimmer or other people notice your looking 'different" but they can't put they're finger on it, that means your headed in the right direction.

Also be sure your taking vitamins and drinking lots of water and watch what you're eating.

good luck!

Awesome job of working and wanting to better yourself to the next level!

Does walking slowly help lose belly fat?

Does walking help loose belly fat? yes it does.Is running the same distance same as walking? No.Is the amount of calories burnt the same? Yes.Though calories are one of the main aspects to be considered, they are not the only contributing factors. Let me share some of the facts I have come across in many magazines.  1. One of the main reasons why fat is visible more at the tummy is that pollution affects this part the most. The junk we eat, the air we breathe, gastric issues, delaying the urge to pee :P..... All these add up to toxins in our body. They can be reduced by omega-3 but that is a different topic. It is the mechanism of our body to surround the toxins with fat. This keeps the other vital parts safe. And since almost all our vital organs are near our tummy, the fat is significantly visible here. Now one of the best ways to excrete these toxin is through sweating. (Other methods include drinking plenty of water, not over eating or under eating, breathing in fresh air in the morning...) So, the more you sweat, the better it is for our body. And remember, sweat is always toxic. Wash it off as soon as possible. Bottom line, running would make you sweat more and so helps in loosing belly fat more effectively2. Walking does not increase the heart rate as much as running does.More the heart rate, more the flow of blood. This cleans our cardiac system. This also helps in proper digestion. As we are not discussing about diet here, let us assume that any sort of junk lands into our stomach. So to digest this junk, we better have a good digestive system. Bottom line, running helps in improving our digestive system.3. And finally, if you happen to drink alcohol, running mitigates its effects to a huge extent. It breaks down the complex molecules and the sweating helps in disposing off the alcohol. Not that i urge you to drink scotch.. :P

Can I get a flat stomach by Walking daily for an hour?

You can lose weight walking, but the most effective way to lose your belly is to run. Running will reduce your tummy very fast, walking will do it too but just take longer.
Try this, jog one lap around the track at school, then walk a lap for recovery, then run a second lap, then walk a lap for recovery, do this four times and you will have run one mile and walked one mile for a total of two miles of exercise.
Consistency is the key to weight loss, do it every day, rain or shine. You will be mentally challenged, this is normal. Refuse the voice telling you to stop, reach your goal. Be determined to reach your goal ok, you will be happy, look great, and feel very proud.
Now get busy!
You can do this.

If I walk minimum 10000 steps daily will it help in reducing belly fat?

There are very good answer already posted so I'll keep my post short.  Yes, 10,000 steps will help you reduce your belly fat, and your leg fat, arm fat, face fat but most importantly, 10,000 steps is a good start to reducing your intramuscular fat which is more important.  As others posted here and it's worth reiterating, you CANNOT do any form of spot reduction.  You cannot do a 100 sit ups and expect to have a six pack set of abs without reducing your body fat to show off those muscles. The way you posed the question leads me to believe that you're looking for a simple answer and that the 10,000 steps is the holy grail to weight reduction.  This of course, is not the case.  What's more important than completing 10,000 steps is watching your diet and eating foods that will not cause your body to retain excess fat.  A simple rule of thumb is "Don't eat white things".  Of course this is a generalization, but when you think about it, white foods are the foods that are bad for you.  White bread, white flour, white rice, white sugar.  Eat for color, get as much NATURAL color on your plate at each meal.  I capitalized "natural" because Froot Loops come in a bunch of colors but that doesn't mean it's good for you.Combining a good diet, even a moderately healthy one couple with your 10,000 steps + a day will definitely help you lose fat.  It won't happen instantly, it may not even happen quickly, but it will happen and when it does, you'll be further motivated to keep and stay healthy.  Good luck to you.

How do I make my tummy flat without doing exercise?

Technically there are no workout required for a flat belly,  to sculpt the abs you may have to do some workouts, but for a flat natural midsection no workouts needed. All you need to do is lower your body fat % until it's flat, again it's subjective differs from person to person. Normally 15 to 18% of body fat,  which makes the tummy looks flat. To get flat stomach you need to increase the caloric expenditure and reduce calorie intake based on the age,  resting metabolism, activity level and lean body mass. All other things like cardio,  crunches,  situps very less effective, or I can say useless when you target to get flat belly without tracking calories in and out. Firstly take care of diet and then only exercise helps to reach the goal faster.

How can i get a killer flat stomach?

Well it's already the first week in June and your want to be ready in about 6 or 7 weeks, whew!!! Not much time, lets get started. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 am to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also. Do all the situps you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don't have alot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hours lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there. In the evening do another 6 sets of situps maxing out each set. Cardo again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes its hard, thats why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max. Do this until you wedding, you will be ready, or you can wimp out and the wedding date will be there before you know it and you have wasted all those days. I believe you will make it, best of luck to you, stay tough!!! Get mean!!!
