Will We Be Ok Making Only 900 Usd/month

Is a 1400 dollar a month salary ok?

Your mortgage consultant or banker with have to determine exactly what your loan to value and other expenses are to assess your ability to qualify.

From experience let me say that you are cutting it really close. After tax dollars on $1,400 should be between $900 - $1,100 per month if there is no insurance taken out for health.

Is $1000 a month enough to live in the Philippines?

Depending on how you want to live...$1,000.USD you can survive.....I have lived here 11 years (in Cebu) on a limited income, starting at $700.00 in 2004, that wasn't to bad.....but now in 2014 I still get less than $900.00 and my thought have changed a bit.

Yes, if you don't help anyone else, if you don't drink, smoke, run around and party, if you eat your meals at home, if you only take a local holiday for the weekend once a month (max), if there is no health problems...then you can survive on $1,000.USD....

But if I could to be (comfortable in surviving) I would now suggest $1,500.USD.....But that's my opinion.....

We like to have a few luxuries like a roof over my head, bed to sleep in, food to eat...and medication. I too am available to answer questions if you like contact me....(by the way remember as a foreigner you will be paying every 2 months to stay here unless you get a 13a spouse visa) that can get expensive on a fixed, limited income. I AM ONLY BEING HONEST HERE WITH YOU.

Can you live in Mexico with $550 monthly?

Absolutely. Just not in Mexico City, Monterrey or one of the big cities. Your best bet (for safety, nice weather, beautiful landscape, friendly people and affordable housing and food) would be a small town in Nayarit, Michoacan or Puebla. For instance, in Compostela, Nayarit, you can rent a 2-bedroom house with all amenities (except AC) for around US$150 a month, food is cheap, especially if you cook your own meals, the surrounding nature is breathtaking and the people are warm and welcoming of newcomers. It sits only 20 minutes away from Tepic (a mid-size City), about an hour away from the beach (beautiful Sayulita or amazing Puerto Vallarta) and Guadalajara -a large metropolis with everything you could ever want or need- is less than 5 hours away by car.You will not live like a king, but definitely lead a tranquil, easy-going life without any luxuries but without any depravation either.

How do I survive with only $600 a month?

Ok so let's break it down a littleAll meals provided except for Wednesday and Friday night and weekends of course.$30 max for transport…$120 per month$600 incomeOk so minus the transport you have $480 leftDon't eat out or get takeouts through the week. Get some ingredients and cook a meal wed & fri night. No partying no boozing no clubbing. It's easy to spend quickly in those situations. At the most spend $20 max for a takeout and a bottle of booze (it's the weekend man you have to relax).Don't buy anything you don't need. New phone, video game, cinema ticket? You don't need it. Not if you want to save more money. If you get paid weekly I'm guessing $125 per week, whatever you have left by the next paycheck put into savings and live off your paycheck, you’ll find yourself living past paycheck to paycheck.Only drive to places you need to be. If the place you wanna go is in walking distance then walk.If you live carefully you will save money.

Can I live comfortably in Chile (Santiago) with $2,000 USD/month?

2,000 is tight but fairly doable. Ok, so let me do a breakdown. Whilst living in Santiago most of my friends who were English teachers were getting paid between 900–1400USD per month and they made it work.Say for example you are going to rent a room in an apartment/house, on average you would pay between 360UDS (180clp) - 420UDS(210 clp) & up per month. Let’s let just average that out and say that’s already 390USD out of the 2000— leaving you with 1,610USD. Put away at least 80 dollars for apartment miscellaneous things (internet, gym etc)After ‘room in an apartment’ deductions for the month, you will have an average of 1,530USDIf you would like to rent a studio apartment for yourself that we be an average of 600USD & up— leaving you with 1,400USD. Put away at least 100USD for apartment miscellaneous. After studio apt you will have an average of 1300 left for the rest of the month. For grocery I did 50USD a week. If you will be just buying stuff for yourself I am assuming 50USD would be enough for you too. That’s an average of 200USD per month. The metro varies depending on the distance travelled, so I can’t really give you a set figure. But assuming you will spend an average of 150USD for the month.Ok so that’s rent, food, transportation..renting a room you will be left with : $ 1,180renting a studio apt you will be left with: $950So this is what you will be left with at the end of the month to go shopping, to save, for taxi rides, for weekend travels, for restaurant dates and bar hopping.Be careful when eating out on the weekends or whenever, restaurant prices are basically like the US and so is shopping.. To be honest.. The mall prices are even more expensive than the US.

I have a few questions about spending US dollars in Jamaica!?

$100 will get you... a drink or maybe a sandwich at a super market.
$300-500 will get you a meal at Burger King or other fast food places.
$800-1000 will get you an entree at a good upscale restaurant.

Clothes like t-shirts range from $1250-3000 usually.
Souvenirs are usually under $5000

I'm not sure what else to think of but usually adding 70% to the price you would pay in the US for consumer products is a good gauge of how much it will cost in Jamaica. BUT some things will actually be way cheaper in Jamaica, like certain services.

I’m 13 and homeschooled. How can I make $900 in a month?

Being home schooled, you can use all of that time you save not going to/from a local school and doing after school clubs/sports to be a Dog Walker. People with dogs Need to have people come to their house during the day and walk their dogs.Or, you could get a job taking care of elementary school children who return home to an empty house because both of their parents work. Indeed, you could also run an after school tutoring session for those children. You want to make Only $225 per week. Walking three to four dogs daily or taking care of two to three elementary school children daily should make you that much.BUT, you must be responsible and reliable.Otherwise, get certified to referee youth ice hockey or soccer and sign up only for the hours that you can work, week to week, but it is unlikely you will make $900 per month.
