Will You Be Eating Chicken Nuggets Now That They Will Be Made In China

My 11 month old will only eat chicken nuggets and hamburger?

Just wait next month it could be something totally different-at one year old my son only wanted nuggets hamburger, maybe a potato of some sort. Then his tastes changed again. For a while we were all worried he might have a sensory issue with food but then we realized he could eat any texture he is just really picky and his likes and dislikes change from day to day. One day he'll gobble down cheese, the next day heck no, etc. However, if you are really concerned you could call early intervention and see if a therapist can evaluate him. While I am all for therapy because my son needed PT when we wasn't walking at 18 months, I will add in the caveat that some \therapists tend to overdiagnose and freak parents out. It may be your son simply prefers more texture over less. Good Luck!!!
eta: I've often wondered how my son can live off of the small variety of foods he eats on a regular basis-welcome to the toddler phase. Thankfully now at age 2 it is slowly getting better.

Are McNuggets made for baby chicks?

I saw a video on Facebook which was quite graphic showing a large quantity of baby chicks being quickly grounded up and minced, it only lasted like 2 seconds but it did get me wondering if this is how McDonalds gets their chicken and if not who was going to use them?

Some people were saying it was fake however it seemed very real to me.

Is it OK to feed my (older) cat McDonald's chicken nuggets? He loves them.

My answer is ideally you shouldn’t even be eating them yourself, let alone feeding them to your cat. They are processed people food, full of lots of grease that does nobody any good. If you feed him a piece of one every once in a blue moon it probably won’t hurt much but a heavy fat load from a meal can trigger pancreatitis, a very serious condition. So every time you give your cat greasy food you risk that. And if you are feeding them to him habitually all of that junk food will take the place of more nutritious food and the cat can suffer from deficiencies in the long term. Not to mention that cats do get fat and suffer from diseases such as diabetes just like people. Not to be harsh to your kitty but he, like a child, doesn’t know what's best for him and dorsn’t get to choose what he eats, you do. Cats love all kinds of food, but that doesn't mean it’s in their best interest or the most responsible thing to give it to them. If you are looking for a way to make your kitty happy skip the junk food and get him a bunch of toys and give him 15-30 minutes of play twice a day. He will still love you just as much without the nuggets, and it will contribute to his good health over his lifetime.

What are some good recipes for side dishes for chicken nuggets?

Please, I hope to lord, that you are making your own chicken nuggets! If you’re eating manufactured chicken nuggets the best side dish is an ambulance for your early death!Making nuggets is easy. One of the recipes for chicken nuggets I love is this one: Chicken nuggets with easy BBQ sauce from Nonna's CookingNow, if you are eating nuggets, either store bought from the freezer isle or home made, they are most likely going to be fried. Fried food is best served with something crisp and refreshing. You can contrast the fried by adding acidity and freshness to the plate.Slices of lemon will make the nuggets sing.Steamed asparagus will add freshness and most kids are happy to eat asparagus. Mashed potato is also a great side to accompany anything fried.A good recipe to get some ideas from is this one - Chicken kiev with mashed potato and green beansIt’s for chicken kiev, but you can easily swap it for chicken nuggets.

Would you buy butter knowing that it is made in China?

I’d be reluctant to do so.I don’t often quote Wiki, but this is one of those rare times when I will and this quote is in relation to the melamine in dairy products affair;“By the end of September 2008, the Chinese government said that 22 dairy companies, including Sanlu and export brands like Mengniu and Yili, had produced powdered baby formula that contained traces of melamine. Some dairy farmers interviewed in Hebei Province said it was an open secret that milk was adulterated. Some dairies routinely watered down milk to increase profits, then added other cheap ingredients so the milk could pass a protein test. "Before melamine, the dealers added rice porridge or starch into the milk to artificially boost the protein count, but that method was easily tested as fake, so they switched to melamine,” said Zhao Huibin, a dairy farmer near Shijiazhuang.Investigators say the adulteration was nothing short of a wholesale re-engineering of milk. Researchers established that workers at Sanlu and at a number of milk-collection depots were diluting milk with water; they added melamine to dupe a test for determining crude protein content”I’d point out that Sanlu (now bankrupt) was 45% owned by Frontera - a New Zealand company - at the time of that fraud. I have no doubt that Frontera would have been horrified at what happened to a product that is in any way linked to them and Frontera were almost certainly the victims of deception. But it demonstrates that if you are dealing with a lengthy food chain processing business in China you must have “proper” supervision at all points in the chain. That is simply not possible.

Why does chinese food meats such as sesame chicken have weird shapes?

I've never payed much attention to the shapes, till recently I saw a movie on netflix from the 90's where a kid&his dog got lost after a boat accident&they caught a rat in the woods&ate it, I'm pretty sure they didn't make this actor eat an actual rat but today I got chinese food&as I was eating my sesame chicken I noticed the shape look just like the one in the movie&now I'm wondering what the hell I'm eating. :'( Is it really chicken? How does it get this shape?

I ate chicken blood. Will this harm me in any way?

You ate it? As in you drank raw chicken blood? What made you do that? Or did you eat some cooked chicken which had blood on it?If it was raw blood, you may or may not get a stomach upset at the most. If it was cooked, you will be absolutely fine. In fact, cooked chicken blood is actually a chinese dish which is good for breathing problems. As a child, my mother made me eat that dish because I sat in the front row in my class and she was worried that I inhaled too much chalk dust. And the chinese believe that eating this dish will remove dust from your lungs. So don't worry. You will be fine.

Is it weird to eat chicken and honey?

I think it's really weird but not to be closed minded I'm going to baste a couple of pieces of chicken with honey the next time I grill some. Who knows??? If I don't like it I'm sure some of the stray cats in my area won't let it go to waste....
