Best companion often implies something living that you have attached yourself to out of love. If you love someone and they visibly return you feelings then that would be your best companion. It’s someone that is dependable in your time of need and understands you on a deeper level compared to the majority of people within your life. They are always honest with you and always there to protect you. You can tell them anything and they won’t judge you. You are never afraid to be yourself around them. He/She is the most comfortable person to be around to you. Often enough best companions are our pets, whether it be a dog or cat we love the from the bottom of our hearts and they love us in return. They may not be able to speak but their facial expressions speak enormous amounts that it doesn’t matter if they can talk or not because we understand them anyways. Best companions can also be a person. It doesn’t’ matter if they are male or female, as long as there isn’t a romantic love interest within the relationship then they can be called a best friend.If there is some romance then that person wouldn’t be called your best friend. This kind of relationship is a bit different then a very close friendship. It is a fine line but it is there. There are some things we aren’t willing to tell that person because we are afraid that we will lose them if we do.
