Why is a jagged edge on a cancer tumor worse to have than a smooth edge.?

trinki - Both a benign tumor and a cancer can have either a smooth or a jagged edge. A jagged edge just raises suspicion a little higher. It doesn't really matter if a cancer has a smooth or a jagged edge as long as when the tumor is removed and examined under the microscope all the edges marked and studied are found to be free of tumor, and there is no other suspicious tumor elsewhere in the body.

Will the activated carbon in my aquarium filter cartridge remove Bettafix?

If the carbon is new, it will remove chlorine, chloramine, copper, organic pigments, odor, and taste. It will to some extent remove medications, especially ones based on aniline dyes. These are trapped in crevices in the carbon, and when the crevices are filled up, the carbon acts as a site for biological filtration instead and loses its ability to remove things.

Bettafix is a low dose strength of Melafix, an herbal remedy toxic to bettas. At this strength it probably won't harm the betta but may not do it much good either.

Aquarium salt also has this kind of effect on bettas, irritating their tissue, so using salt is also a bad idea, but it's cheap and so it is popular whether it works or not.

Vitamin B complex helps fins and scale to heal. Multivitamins for fish contain these and would be good to use, either added to the water or dripped onto its food.

One of my teeth has become sharp and I keep cutting my tongue on it while I'm sleeping?

Yes, visit a dentist and have them file it for you or fill it. But in the mean time there is a wax made specially for your mouth (sometimes people w/ braces use it). You can mold it to fit the sharp edge of your tooth so that you don't get cut between now and your dentist visit. Good luck :)

Contaminated dead fish water in my tank?

So I just got 4 tiny tetra's 3 weeks ago. And they all died within the week and a half. Before that i had a carnival goldfish that lasted 6 months. I totally cleaned my 10 gallon tank. Top to bottom. I didn't use any chemicals to clean it, I used soap and water like my parents said to do. Once after that I put water in it turned on the filter and let the water become room temperature fro about 4 days. After that I got the tetras. The man at the fish store said since I cleaned it that I should've gotten cheap hardy fish. But one died randomly one day and two died in my castle that i have, and one got suck in the filter. I don't know what i could do to help them I feed them all once a day regularly. And now I'm worried that I'm going to start this process all over again if i clean it fully. Is the water contaminated? And if it is how do I uncontaminate it without getting it so clean there's a chance the new fish i might get will die from it?
