Will You Read My Fanfic

Naruto/Kisame fans will you read my fanfic?

Usually when a fanfic writer writes "character/character" like you did with Naruto/Kisame, it means that the two characters are in a romantic relationship. As Naruto and Kisame aren't in a romantic, homosexual (yaoi) relationship, I think you'd be better off asking people to read your "Kisame/OFC" fanfc. OFC standing for original female character.

As for what I thought... Your story would flow better if you got a beta reader to check for grammar mistakes and Kisame, a cold-hearted killer in canon, is out of character. But considering that it's a love story, he has to be a bit out of character.

Good luck with your story!

What websites allows you to read fanfiction?

Well, this is a personal opinion so not all people agree…But I have accounts on a few:1- Archive of our own ( Archive of Our Own ) :A huge number of fan fics in almost all fandoms that could ever exist (there are original works as well) is here. A website by fans for fans.I put it first because it’s simple, user-friendly, searching options are very impressive, you can put/find as many tags as you want and the writing standards are pretty high..The voting system is quite strict so when you find 1K kudos on a work it literally means that 1K person has voted.2- Wattpad (Wattpad - Where stories live):Another huge platform, the number of fics is enormous and original works find a reputation easily. It is however a little less easy to search for works, tags are limited and you can’t always find great works with acceptable levels of language, search filters aren’t as impressive as my first pick. The pros are : the possibility to insert media easily, the great team behind the platform who go through works and do rankings and advertising as well as events and competitions and the best part is there’s an app, easy to access, read, write, vote and comment wherever and whenever.3- Fanfiction.net :It was my fanfic awakening, very simplistic design, average in almost every aspect but a pioneer nonetheless. You will find lots of great works and many supportive readers and writers.4- Asian fanfics ( For fans of all things Asian )As the name indicates, it’s about Asia, whether the fandom is an anime, an asian drama or an asian band, you just have to search for it and you’ll get yourself a list of fics…I call this website, the quiet one, it’s not easy for a work to get found or recognized, it isn’t as user-friendly as the first two platforms previously mentioned but you get used to it I guess…It’s also a community wher you can chat and share things so it’s … “pretty cool” if I may say so.Honorable mentions:There are a lot of other platforms out there like Quotev, Amazone… They either require payment, or are too big and complex…I just listed the best for me as both a writer and a reader…I hope it’s helpful :)

How to read my reviews on fanfiction.net?

Don't panic it's not just happening to you. I am an author on the site and its doing the same thing to me and from what I have heard to everyone else too. Its been going on for at least the last 48 hours, its a real pain because I want to read peoples reviews that they have sent me but I cant. The support on the webpage is most likely all ready working on it, but if you still cant see the reviews by tomorrow, then sent an email to support on fanfiction.net that is what I will do. The reviews are there we just cant read them. Hope that helps.

How do I get more people to read my Wattpad fanfics?

Tags. Literally just tags. When I was starting out on Wattpad my first fanfiction was LOADED with tags in the book info bit. The tags mean that people will be able to find books in that region a lot easier. E.g. if someone has tagged their book under Star Wars, when someone else searches Star Wars, it will come up. Tags are the only thing, next to the name, that the search results are based on.Another option might be to write a fanfiction in a fandom that’s big. I wrote a Harry Potter one that has 7k + reads but that’s was only because it’s based in Harry Potter. People will likely follow you and then read your other books. What I did was that I self promoted all my other books, so people become interested.I hope this helps :)

Have your parents found out that you read fanfiction?

Of course, I even remember how the conversation went:Mom: “Hey, what’cha reading there?”13-year-old Me: “Fan-fiction.”Mom: “What’s that?”13-year-old Me: “Fan-made stories based off popular series.”Mom: “Ah, okay.”…Mom: “Are they any good?”13-year-old Me: “Eh, sometimes. Most of them are written by teens my age who are just getting into the writing scene, so…”Mom: “Most of them suck?”13-year-old Me: “Yeah…”Mom: *chuckles* “Well, you gotta start somewhere.”13-year-old Me: “Yep yep. Though if you look hard enough, there are some really good ones.” *browsing through Quizilla*Mom: “Heh, at least you’re reading.”13-year-old Me: “Oh yeah.”Reading fan-fiction as a teenager actually boosted my motivation to read and write on a daily basis. Take note, parents.

Where can I advertise my fanfic?

First of all, I would like to thank you for not writing a One Direction fanfic. Seriously, the Internet is littered with way too many of those, it's crazy.

Lol, but anyway I guess you could advertise your fanfic on Tumblr, maybe. Just post a link to it.

Or instead you could post spam comments on Spider Man-related YouTube videos and tell people to check out your fanfic. (This method of advertisement actually works a lot better than you'd think it would. You should try it.)

But I think your best option would be to check out http://www.writingforums.com/ and post something about your fanfic there.

And also try re-uploading your story onto http://www.wattpad.com/ . (In case you're not familiar with Wattpad, basically it's sort of like fanfiction.net except it's for all genres of writing, not just fan fiction.)

Anybody want to read and review a twilight fanfic? (:?

I don't have to read it to know what its about, this is my twi fan fic:
Bella:"I love you edward. Please have sex with me and turn me into a fairy"
edward:"No. You're to much a braty B*TCH, but I will use the excuse of waiting until marriage."
(later at the reservation)
Bella: "Oh jacob even though I got everything I've wanted including edward, his rich family and I can be a vampire without any consequence at all, I think I might have feelings for you."
Jacob: "Damn girl you are plain and boring, you my kinda girl. Lets make puppies."
Bella: "Get your filthy paws off of me. Can't you see I just like to lead you on."

Why won't anybody read my FanFiction?

Ok, I checked it - not read it, because it’s not my fandom and I’m just not interested - and from what I can say: a few things.First of all, the main character is an OC, and while this is perfectly fine, it will discourage some readers -like me - who are just too afraid of finding themselves with the story of a Mary Sue. I’m not saying your princess is. I’m just saying I (mostly Sherlock + assorted manga fandoms) stay away from OC main characters like the plague, and I know I’m not the only one, so you already cut your potential readers there. Also, “save everything she cares about” in the summary is a bit vague. Save the world? Her family? Her boyfriend/girlfriend? Make sure history is not cancelled, stopping her from being born? I have no idea what your antagonists’ powers are, but if I am to cheer for someone, I want to know what I’m cheering for. Also, the first chapter is very short, and while I adore these, some people might decide to wait until there’s more on the plate before reading. As other have mentioned, no reviews does not mean the story has not been read. If you check most of my stories, they only have a couple of reviews from my friends, but this has not stopped me from writing for my own pleasure (and continued sanity). My suggestion would be to write for your own pleasure, and not worry about your success with the public. If you start down that slope, there will always be many authors more famous than you, and you’ll become bitter about that instead of enjoying the fandom.I hope you’re not offended, I’ve been trying to figure out objectively what would deter readers. If you are, you’re welcome to yell at me here, or at FanFiction (my name there is I’m Nova).

How to check how many people read your book on fanfiction?

Go to the tab 'Traffic'
You can either go to 'Story Stats' (that's the old stat page) or you can go to 'Story Traffic'

When you click on 'Story Stats,' there is going to be a column that tells you how many 'hits' your story has had. If you have more than one chapter, than that number is hyper-linked. Click on it so you have a break down of each chapter.

For 'Story Traffic,' scroll down and click the story you want to view. It will instantly break down the hits chapter by chapter. This will tell you how many hits you've had, and how many visitors you've had.
Hits could be just repeats of a certain visitor, so it's more specif.

You can also figure out how many people view your profile by going to either 'User States' or 'Profile Traffic.'
