Windows 7 Internet Trouble .

How do I fix the "No internet, secured" WiFi problem in Windows 10?

I've seen that with my own Surface Book and Surface Pro 1. The fix for me was a bit simpler…Make sure the device is completely updated and all updates were successful.Click on the offending WiFi connection (in the System Tray) and click “Forget”. Also, if you have an Ethernet cable plugged in unplug that as well.Wait until it completely disconnects from that Access Point. You should have no connection to the Internet at this point.Put the device in Airplane Mode.Reboot the device. If the device is still in Airplane Mode after rebooting take it out of Airplane Mode.Go back to the WiFi connection (in the System Tray) and connect again. DO NOT enable “Connect Automatically”.If it still says “No Internet, Secured” just wait a few minutes — it should clear up. It actually shouldn't take that long. If you prefer you can now enable “Connect Automatically” for that connection. If this fixes it for you then what has happened is simple: The “backed up” connection information has gotten garbled or corrupted and needed to be reset for that device. This used to happen to me all the time with email accounts when I was heavily involved with the Insider Program.I hope this helps!

Windows 7 Boot-Up Slow Trouble?

Basically my computer one day started acting up weird. Usually it boots up very fast but now it encounters a black screen and stays on it for a while until it continues. When I force a shut down, it says there is a start up repair and it takes forever before it restores the system, then when I try to start it up again, i still encounter a black screen. And no it's not the back screen of death cuz I can;t move my mouse. I've tried removing all stat up programs, and still nothing. I really need a solution other then wait a really long time. Also this is a legal windows 7, it came with the laptop when i bough it. Please Help!

Trouble installing windows 95 game on windows 7?

Windows 7 Installation trouble... What do I do now?!?

So I'm in the final stage of my Windows 7 installation and (by the way it's taking forever to load) then after about 20 mins of just sitting still, an error box pops up and says "Windows could not configure one or more system components. To install Windows, restart the computer and then restart the installation." I have done this now about 3 times and I don't know what else to do, or even basically what this means. HELP! Thank you!!

How can I use Android USB tethering in Windows 7 to connect computer to Internet via phone's data connection?

Its very easy. Okay first you need to install android drivers on windows 7. I think its android samsung universal something driver. I'm not having my laptop with me right now otherwise i could have gave u exact driver. But anyways, if you have reputated vendor's device then just install driver of that model from company website or simply google it.Then, you need to connect your cable with mobile attached to system's usb port. Well, You need to go android setting->More->Tethering & portable hotspot-> USB Tethering. Just turn on it on.If above steps solved your problem then ignore this one, look for setting-> developer option and turn it on for usb tethering. If you won't get usb tethering option then simply go to settings->About phone ->build number. Click 5 times on build number to show the developer option.Once you got it, turn it on.And then you can check in command prompt of windows 7 by typing command :C:> adb devicesAbove command will show you list of devices connected if you have adb installed & configured in system variables. (Its optional)And then plug cable out & then plugin & den repeat these steps.Hope i solve your issue. :-)

Can't connect to internet. Trouble shooter asks "plug an ethernet cable into this computer." WHAT?

Unclear!!

If you are connecting to the net with with a wire i.e. an ethernet cable - try another cable. Or test your cable on another computer.

If your cable is fine, try rebooting your wired router or cable modem (and after that comes up you may need to reboot the wireless router if it is a separate box). By reboot I mean unpower, wait 5 seconds, repower.

If you are connecting via Wifi - many Compaq and HP laptops have a key that turns on/off wireless. On my one HP it is a separate button that says WLAN or has a picture of an antenna. On this Compaq it is on my F12 key which has a picture of an antenna and a blue light that is ON when my wireless is enabled.

Also some firewall software has an option to lock the network and not allow any traffic to/from your PC - if you have a firewall like that make sure it doesn't have the network locked.

If you just can't get it work then maybe you have a hardware problem or you may have trashed something in your OS.

I 'm having problems upgrading to windows 7.?

I put in my windows 7 upgrade DVD into my laptop and started my installation just fine, but a problem came up that was preventing my installation.

The following issues are preventing Windows from upgrading. Cancel the upgrade, complete each task, and then restart the upgrade to continue.

* Windows needs to be restarted so necessary changes to system files can be made before continuing.

Upgrading Windows will affect the following devices and/or programs:

These devices might not work properly after the upgrade. Before upgrading, we recommend updating the drivers for these devices. Cancel the upgrade, open Control Panel and search for "update device drivers", or go to the device manufacturer's website to search for updated drivers.

o Human Interface Devices: Sony Firmware Extension Parser Device

These programs might not work properly after the upgrade. We recommend uninstalling these programs before upgrading. Cancel the upgrade, open Control Panel, and search for "uninstall a program". (Note: Programs marked as * can be safely reinstalled after the upgrade.)

o Trend Micro Internet Security 2009

i uninstalled the "Trend Micro Internet Security 2009"
but i can't get to restart my intsallation.

I am using Bsnl broadband and windows 7. Internet is connected but browser is not working, though skype works fine. How can the issue be solved?

In addition to below answers check your browser proxy. Set it to automatic if not already. Change your DNS to google DNS. 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8

Ping problem - request timed out. How did it happen? (Windows 7 and xp)?

Multiple pings to a public server can be classified by the server as an DOS attack so after the first ping the server stops responding.
Do it to the wrong server and your IP will get blacklisted
The other main possibility is your Timeout is set too low. try

ping -w 400 pingtest.net

Increase the 400 to a max of 1000 (1 sec) to see if thats your problem

Internal pings are not restricted

If you want to test ping performance use your browser and go to pingtest.net and run their test. It gives more info than just pinging.

Edit:
Why are you worried? The ping is only a very basic connectivity test for use when other services are not working and they obviously are.
Have you checked your anti-virus software?
One other check that the ping. executable on them is not corrupted
