Nope it will not run on Surface RT. Also on the Surface RT you will not be able to install any windows software on your tablet but only through the Windows Store. The Windows Surface Pro 2 you can install any Windows software onto this tablet but not the RT tablet.
Can I play sims 3 on the windows surface?
Well it depends on whether you have the surface RT or the surface pro, on the surface pro you will be able to run the full PC version, but on the RT you will not, unless you find an app for it in the app store for the surface RT. I have a very high opinion of the Surface line in general, including the now-defunct Surface RT. They're good machines for the purposes they are/were intended for.To answer the second part of your question: No, it is not a good computer for little games and writing; it is horrendously overpriced for those two things. You could spend at least $1,000 less in each SKU category and still get "more" machine for your money. That cheaper machine probably won't look at good… and it might not be as svelte… But it will likely function just as well.Do yourself a favor: look for a machine with similar or better specs that still scratches your "style itch".

Windows Hello is quite a bit more sophisticated than it might seem at first. It’s not just looking at your image in the camera and comparing it to a saved image. It’s also looking at a depth map of your face, generated by an infrared system in the camera. It uses that for two purposes: to compare it against a saved depth map of your actual face, and to verify that what is being presented to the camera is actually a real head and not just a photo.The vast majority of cameras do not have depth-mapping capability, and thus aren’t compatible with Windows Hello. This includes the Surface Pro 3, whose webcam is pretty good, but it’s exactly that — just a webcam.The Surface Pro 4, and a few other recent laptops and standalone webcams, have the additional IR-based depth-mapping functionality that Windows Hello needs.(By the way, there is also an ‘enhanced anti-spoofing’ mode in Windows Hello that does even more cross-checks of the IR depth-map data against the image, to check for more sophisticated attacks. At work, the Microsoft sysadmins have configured our domains so that this enhanced anti-spoofing is required. While I completely understand this decision, it’s a bit of a bummer for me, because I have a Logitech Brio camera on my work PC. PowerPoint won't work on Surface RT?
I have a Surface RT (the original surface tablet) and I cannot launch PowerPoint anymore. It was working last night because I was just on it. All other programs in Microsoft work... Word, excel, publisher, etc. I need this program to start working because I use it often and I need it currently. When I try to launch it, it says "POWERPNT.EXE- Bad Image... C:\Program Files\MicrosoftOffice\Office15\1033\PPIN... is either not designed to run to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000428" I tried restarting my computer and that won't work... Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? I don't have the "original installation media" because it came preinstalled on the tablet.
