Should I wish my ex best friend a Happy Birthday?
I was just about to ask this same question. My B-day was in Nov and she actually took me out to eat and bought me a cake. But since that time she has been really INCREDIBLY rude (she was staying with me/disrespecting me) etc etc...and we are NOT talking. Her birthday is coming up very soon. I feel like if I do give her something or whatever, I still wont talk to her anymore. Im also confused. When you find out the answer let me know. Because at the end of the day, I dont want to continue being close with her again. Maybe we could be casual acquaintances.

me and My best friend Katie use to be really close but now were kinda strangers. She hasn't talked to me all summer so about a week ago I texted her and said that Autumn(my other friend) said that I was katie thought I was at her but I'm not and she said Oh,I thought you were... So i think she is mad at me but today. But she judges me alot and thinks i'm Socially Awkward and she removed me as her sister on facebook. So should i wish her Happy birthday today or Not? I think she would be happy but also she might just think I'm too Nice of a person and wanna get on her good side. whats your opinion?

Yes I do,Even though what he is doing is painful to me, I would still do!I had a very loving friend, a girl friend. we were very good friends. She was my junior while I was doing my PUC studies. But I had met her through facebook only after completing my studies, so I had never seen her face to face. My friends didn't wish me a happy birthday?
okay so I turned 18 today and this stuff doesnt really bother me but i've only got a super small friendship group and i'm not expecting everyone i've ever spoken too, to wish me a happy birthday but i am literally that friend who puts so much effort into birthday messages which i send at exactly 12AM and i put so much effort into presents or what to say and just acts of kindness to them and things like that but literally like just 2 of my friends have wished me a happy birthday and i know when i post a picture on instagram tonight, allllll the messages are going to come pouring in and then im just like no eff you like damn i get angry about it because these are supposed to be my close friends like damnit://// anyway what can i say tomorrow to them (on the day after my birthday) or should i just delete or block them? i mean im t the point in my life where idc who's in it or who's not. if someone's making me feel upset or negative then i will remove them because i dont need people like that in my life. so what should i do?

I told him happy birthday, and he was still mad at me. He didn't say it until I asked him, though. He was also surprised that I knew when his birthday was. My best friend didn't wish me a happy birthday :(?
Yesterday was my b'day . But my best friend who I care so much didn't even wished me. In last year she wished me on a noon, cause at that time I had Facebook and we were in college and i guess she remembered it was my birthday from her friends(from Facebook). Even though she wished me at noon, i was still happy cause she wished me. This time I deleted my Facebook and I wanna see who all will wish me this time. And yes, she have Facebook. I thought she would have wished me when no one else did . But I didn't get any wishes from anyone not even my best friend. But I knew her birthday even after deleting my Facebook, I will always remember it and her b'day was on last month and i wished her @ sharp 12 am even after deleting my Facebook but knows her birthday. But when it was my b'day, its so sad even my best friend who I care so much don't even wish or remember it . Is it like she don't care me at all? :( I'm so sad and pissed off :( :(

You have our sympathy. Yes, with face book, we know people are reminded. It could be many things really. It could also be that she wanted to say or write something special and waited till she had more time, then forgot to get back to it...or with the change of schooling, she might feel like you don't have enough in common anymore-there might be many things, hard to say. She is still with lots of other kids, and lots of distractions. Being home schooled, you don't have the same environment, and feel the loss more intensely. You could invite her to something and re-connect. If she isn't interested, find other ways to meet other people, and make some new friends. I've heard there are special activities for socializing, with all the home schooling these days. Have your parent check on this so you won't feel isolated. I have been forgotten after sending cards, Ecards and notes, and no mention to me anywhere. I take it differently, not as personally. I know people get busy, and friendships fade. I look forward to new friends that will be interested in the things I am. People evolve and friendships do as well. It's kind of sad, but a natural part of growing up and becoming your own person.
