Work From Home All You Need Is Your Mobile

Need a work at home job?

In some places, there are really work-at-home jobs, where you answer customer service calls. You could try some home sales jobs, such as pampered chef, Tupperware, that sort of thing, but you have to put in a LOT of work, sometimes for very little payoff. Much of what you see on the web for work-at-home is scam city. Far better to check with a job center at a community college in your area, to see if there might be any legit opportunities; they can steer you in the right direction.

Are there actually any legit work at home jobs?

I work from home as an operations manager for one company and editor-in-chief for another company. I've also hired other remote workers.Yes, there are real jobs out there that don't involve selling candles, makeup, or something else.It took me about 6-8 months of searching once I got serious about it. Then once I found Odesk (now Upwork.com) it took less time, maybe a month. Getting the first job was the hardest because it works on a feedback system but once I got a job and awesome feedback it was more helpful. There are other job portals you can look at, too.So I'll list helpful tips quickly since I'm on my phone:- Have an actual skill. This is the real world and even people who sell Avon know how to sell things. Did you get a degree in something OR have experience in something? You can always write about it. There are other jobs like customer service, photography, data entry, etc. Just keep in mind that the lower the skill set the more low pay competition from folks in other countries willing to work for peanuts.- Sell yourself without being a braggart. List all your skills and interests in your profile.- Be willing to take a small fixed rate job to get feedback.- BE PROFESSIONAL! It's a job! Work in your pyjamas sure, just don't show up in them in a video conference call. Don't put hearts and smiley faces in your email signature. If you don't know basic business etiquette then don't bother. Part of being professional is following through, communicating properly, accepting responsibility for your actions, adhering to guidelines and time constraints, etc. Things you'd do in a real job because, uh, it is one!- Keep your work and personal lives separate.- Don't feel guilty for working from home. Don't let it take over other aspects of your life. Keep clear boundaries.Hope this helps. Good luck!

What size generator do I need for my single wide mobile home?

Total the wattage of All of the devices you want on the generator. Typical heater is about 1500 watts, a microwave about 900, the freezer and the refrigerator about 1500 or 1800 watts each, totals to about 4500 watts. If you get a gas generator which is the least expensive type then a unit 1.5 times the total is the smallest you should choose for a typical run item these will probably be rated about 7500 watts peak. Any smaller and you risk brownouts that will destroy the equipment you are trying to operate. A 10% cushion is just too small for these smaller units. If you choose a more expensive diesel powered unit it is safer at the 7500 watts, if you choose natural gas or propane then it must be double the computed wattage.

I live in a mobile home and all my drains are backing up into each other. Advice please?

Are you in a mobile home park, or on your own land, is the system plumbed to a city main or is it septic?

if you hooked into a city main then you need to rent a power snake and snake all the drains you can rent one from most home depots or equipment rental stores for about 40-50 bucks for 4 hrs vs a plumber charging you 300 for 15 minutes worth of work.

If you have septic tank it may be full, they don't last forever and are suppose to have chemicals to break down the materials there.

If your in a mobile home park then you may have to go through them the owner of the park or at least ask them, Do you own it the mobile ? or are you renting it if renting its the landlords problem to fix in most cases unless you signed a lease stating otherwise. Also all drain, are connected to a main pipe Generally when only one drain is slow or plugged, the others work fine its only the one drain But since all your drains are backing up then the main drain pipe is plugged. A power snake would be the only solution in the latter case either you rent one which is the cheapest and easiest route,

what ever you do don't pour chemicals like drain-o its an acid and will eat the pipes as well
and will cost you major money down the road in plumbing replacement a power snake 100ft is easy to use just don't put it down the toilet drain it scratch the hell out of it. The easiest drain to access it the washer machine drain, or you either have to take about the P-trap assembly under your bath sink tube or kitchen sink

hope it helps

How difficult is it to trade a used mobile home for a better mobile home?

We live in a 95 single wide with 2 bedrooms,(we pay the payments on it but its in my fiance's parents name because they lived there for 10 years before moving to a house.) its completely tin, the sides are tin the roof is tin yet the inside is in pretty good shape, we have painted and decorated here and there on our own. I have been told that when it comes to mobile homes, a dealer that is willing to trade at all will probably never be willing to trade a tin trailer. (Nobody wants them and they are harder to sell) is what he said. But they still make them? Anyway, would we be better off to be first time home buyers or should we attempt to trade it in on a better mobile home? Also, how risky would it be to buy a reposed home for a lower price? Anyone that has been there done that please feel free to give some tips. We aren't made of money by no means, so its going to be difficult to start with anyway, and I know that I have less than perfect credit, we are only 23 years old, but I already have a child from my first marriage, and I know someday we'd like to have our own, but 2 bedrooms just ain't' gonna cut it!

Is it easy to get a work-at-home web developer job?

It’s very easy, provided you’re willing to work for peanuts. Here is the problem – most people still associate remote web development with outsourcing and hiring cheap developers from less developed parts of the world. This means that clients are usually reluctant to pay good money for developers hired on various freelance sites (let’s not name names).I can’t say I blame them. I’ve tried using such sites both to find work and hire people – either way, I was not very pleased. Oddly enough, I was happier with the work I could find than with the performance of freelancers my outfit hired through these channels. Eventually I concluded that it was simply not worth it because I could get better projects and hire better people through traditional channels. But here’s another problem – what if you’re just starting and need some experience? What if you live in a part of the world that doesn’t allow you to put your skills to good use? In that case, these networks can be very helpful, as you can gain a lot of experience and find contacts. If you’re good, you’ll advance, that’s true for practically every job.If you’ve outgrown such networks, and you’re looking for something a bit more serious, you may consider joining a specialized, professional network. That’s what a number of my talented colleagues did, and I joined them at Toptal. Now, this is not for everyone, as you have to pass several interviews and screenings before joining the network. However, as the network vets clients as well, you’ll get unparalleled access to better clients and intriguing projects without having to worry about low bid contests.
