How many are work related or professional questions on Quora?

This is actually an easy question to answer. For example, for “Work”, you just need to look here : WorkOn the side you can see a count: 45.5K questions. That’s a lot, go quora.

Do you get annoyed when people ask too many questions at work (not personal, work related only)?

It’s more the way people go about asking questions that can be annoying. As a writer I’ve learned the art of asking questions in an efficient way because I often interview experts whose time is limited. This means I have to think through what I need to know from an interview and make sure I ask questions that cover those points.Fair or not, I expect the same thoughtfulness when someone else is asking questions. I expect them to get answers from other sources when possible and to group their questions so we cover as much as possible. It’s annoying when someone interrupts and asks a question. Then 10 minutes later they’re back asking another question. Then they’re back in ten minutes again. And so on.

How should I handle a work-related conflict?

Since earlier this year, I have had a number of work-related conflicts with a colleague who isn't my manager nor directly assigned in my department. Often, he attempts to converse with me in a manner that may seem "constructive," but I have very serious problems with the way he talks to me and his approach towards me around others.
Specifically, my problems with him in particular are his: a) interrupting my conversations, b) barking orders in my face as if I was his subordinate, c) reprimanding me in front of others, d) pointing to his face in a child-like gesture to remind me to smile, as well as many other behaviors that I dislike. These issues are frustrating as I am a team leader and his reprimands in front of others puts my seniority into question.
As he is not my manager nor my designated work colleague, there is no reason he needs to communicate with me what so ever with respect to our job duties. While I have received advice from others that I should attempt to talk to him calmly about these issues, I see no reason for me to do so. I think many of his issues are racially motivated, and I doubt my ability to remain calm. I want to report it, because I don't have a problem cussing him out.

Can you sue your ex-employer for asking you work related questions after firing you?

There’s nothing that prevents a former employer from calling you and asking for assistance. You are, of course, under no obligation to answer such questions unless you have agreed to do so as part of a severance package or something similar. My suggestion would be to tell them that you will answer any such questions to the best of your ability at a rate of $250 an hour, minimum billable time 1 hour, and that by calling you to ask a question, they consent to these terms. If you send them this in writing, and they still call you, you can bill them at those rates, and if they don’t pay, then you can sue them, for breach of contract.Otherwise, you don’t really have much to stand on, unless the calls are so pervasive or offensive as to constitute telephone harassment. You may want to consider having their phone numbers blocked; most carriers will allow you to block numbers you don’t want to receive calls from.
