Working For The First Time

First time working alone at new job?

dont be. just imagine ur the boss.

Working for first time advice?

I didn't get my first job until I had graduated. I was offered it the night of graduation and went to work in a nearby city, living at home. It lasted about two weeks (I was girl number 7 he'd hired in three months but I still feel bad about it). I was terrified. Everybody is before any new job, no matter how many you get. Do what others have said and always, always, always be on time or 10 to 15 minutes early. When they say the job starts at 3 p.m., that means you should be at your station then, not walking through the door. If somebody gives you an order, do what they say without resentment. Complain to your supervisor afterwards, but do it. You will be bossed around by people younger than you are and those you don't think know their spatula from a pail, but that's work. Be prepared (and willing) to step in and help no matter what your job description is. You will be insanely busy at times and the customer must be served if you want to keep the place open. If you start to get tense, take a breath. Don't speed up if it is busy unless you do better when you go faster. Rushing and making mistakes is counterproductive. Learn from your mistakes. Keep your eyes open and learn as much about the business as you can. You may love the field and want to stay in it or like customer service or want to own a franchise like this one. You can learn new things every day if you pay attention. Smile and be friendly. Don't fall into the gossiping crowd or the ones who gripe all the time. Remember why you are there--$$$--and don't bite the hand that feeds you.

By the way you asked, and that you asked, I can tell you'll do fine.

First time working Drive Thru?

If its your first day, you're not supposed to get it right away and managers usually understand that. So don't beat yourself up too much. Secondly, everyone learns at their own pace, so learn at yours. Don't rush yourself to learn because you could be overwhelmed. Cash registers are generally easy things to learn, so no doubt that you'll have it down pact by the end of the week (or 2, tops!). It's like driving, it's hard at first but eventually it all becomes second nature.

Working at a restaurant for first time?

There are usually 2 areas in a restaurant. The Back Of House (BOH) or the kitchen and The Front of House (FOH) or the diningroom. If you apply for a job in the BOH ask to speak with a kitchen manager. You may be able to get a job as a prep cook, they usually work in the morning, or a dishwasher. Eventually they may promote you to a line cook. This is a lot of work no matter what you do back there and its usually pretty hot. If you apply for a job in the FOH ask to speak to a manager and they'll send you the same one that deals with the customers. You could get a job as a busser or as a server if you are really smiley and charasmatic. Most places are willing to hire someone with no food service experience as long as you are a people person or have retail experience. Keep in mind that if you were a busser most places like Red Lobster or Red Robin (I work there) make the servers give the busser and/or the bartender a small portion of their sales or tips so if you were a busser you would make more money than you might think.

People in th BOH generally make a set wage that is a little over minimum wage and their hours are fixed.
If you work in the FOH you may not have a scheduled time off and your hourly wage will be less than minimum wage but with tips it usually works out to be between $10 and $20 per hour. You will be sent home based on the volume of business.

I just started working for the first time in a company. It has only been 3 months and I already feel suffocated. What should I do?

Just stick to it. Everybody feels the same. This is the phase where your life changes. You wont like it, you will think of every possible reason to quit but just give it some time. It will give you experience which will play very important role in your further progress, whether if you want to do any other  job or do your on business.

Freelance working for the first time and do not have EIN number. May I report my income to the IRS and not sending my SSN with a W-9 form to who will pay me?

You don't need an EIN. It sounds like you should report your income and expenses on a Schedule C using your social security number. That becomes part of your 1040. This will be the case unless you are a partnership, C Corp or S Corp.Any employer who pays you more than $600 in a calendar year should have gotten your EIN or social security number and issued you a 1099-MISC with your freelance income shown in box 7. You need to report the income whether or not you were issued a 1099-MISC

Why does subliminal only work for me on the first time?

it depends on the Individual, if you're about those shady YouTube subliminal videos that provides a shortcut to life’s problems then it would highly Likely means that your were put into a placebo that subliminal are miracle working “drugs”The problem with subliminals is, although they are largely employed in the industry. Being used in media to entice, instigate the mind of the user. They only affect users who have a blind spot within their subconsciousness.Imagine I try to implant a subliminal into your mind that goes like “no man is worthy”your subconscious mind in a subtle level believes it to be so, but your concious mind thinks otherwise. I can try to brainwash you multiple times with subliminal messages via visual or audio means, But your brain is versatile and strong enough to reject subliminals when you receive another message( whether subliminal or not) that counters the subliminal notions.habits die hard, habits are hard to form too, as Long as there are anyone or any thing in your life, whether a person, your own personal thoughts, media messages, that takes away that subliminal programming. It fairly hard enough for you to implant the same subliminal message again.i tried subliminal programming through audio and visual informations but it Is very tiring. It is not productive and not effective. If you're trying subliminal your way into positive thinking. You would might as well do it through a conscious level.Your are your habits And subliminals don't involve much in your life where habitual living and thinking has greater territorial involvement in it.when you Are conscious of the subliminals, and in your conscious mind you want to achieve what the subliminals tells you.You are effectually directing yourself in a self fulfilling prophecy manner
