World Geography Project

From where should I get some matter for my geography project, the topic is "Three seasons of India"?

For project work it is very important to present your idea very clearly. So, for best results, you may browse the internet, Wikipedia and you can can even present it by your own experience. You can easily get matter on net but if you want to share your experience then you first present them all in points like mind mapping. After putting all points together you frame sentences and arrange them in a proper sequence. And finally your matter is ready…For more interesting things follow me on quora or my blog-blog—maze of historyblog2— fun with History!!! by Rashmika Mahindrakar on maze of historyyoutube—https://www.youtube.com/channel/...

Is it okay to make project about WW2 in geography? What would be some tips?

Big time. War all about geography/resources.War really started in 1936 when japan invaded Manchuria for iron resources. In 1942 when japan attacked pearl harbour they had ship on way to Australia to build and own iron mine. That would have been their peaceful solution but australia and all of se asia was within japans co-properity spheres. 3 of them. Look them up.Germany — conflict in large part related to the Treaty of Versailles forced on germans at close of ww1. Very humiliating to germans, would have sent them broke but it was access to the rhineland and the iron in the ground there, the rivers to transport the ore and the factories already in place to process the iron into steel. For essential things like ball bearings! Who ever thinks of them? Another major resource therefore geographically related was the oil and gas in the Caucasus mountains in russia/Ukraine. Rommel could have got it with proper support. Also the use of islands. Britain survived as it was an island and its navy and air force kept it free. Usa obviously island and in other hemisphere. Australia an island. Papua New Guinea australias buffer. The fact the russia was so so large — could and did move all their factories back behind the ural mountains. Impossible to contend with. That was really quick answer while passing — message me if you need more or more specific. Good on you. Geography and history the world would be happy.

What country should I do my geography project on?

Dear Jakelin,
I have traveled all over the world. Every country I visited had its awesome points. The oriental countries like Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, India and Laos had huge histories. So did Egypt and Turkey. The Arabic countries have rich traditions and cultures which often informed our own. Did you know that algebra comes from an Arabic word? Much medicine and logic could be traced back to Arabic and Greek origins.

All of Europe has interesting history and places to visit. The United Kingdom has too. Look at eastern Europe, Scandinavia and the other countries around the Baltic. Latin America has some neat places and culture. Look at Australia, New Zealand and the new countries in the south Pacific. The whole world is a terrific place. The hard thing is to choose the most awesome.

Geography project...please help!?

Just arbitrarily I googled "weather records for Chicago." On the left is a menu, scroll down and you find "weather records," click and you are taken to a page where you can type in a date. So theoretically, that should work for any major city or region, and you can track weather over a period of a season. What you will be looking for is things like amount of rainfall over several years, indication of drought conditions emerging, or contrarily, flood conditions. You will look to see whether there have been any permanent or semi permanent water sources--rivers, lakes. And you can google "interpreting weather records" to find out what other things you need to be looking for and understanding.

What can I write as an introduction for my geography project on the topic industry?

Here’s a tip for when you are struggling with your Introductions - leave it until last, when you have completed your piece. Then, read through your piece and make a note of the important points it made. That’s the ‘answer’ you are leading your readers to. For your intro, set up the problem/question, tease the answer, then your piece leads them step-by-step to the answer.
