World History Ap Homework Help

AP World History homework help please!!!?

An oversimplified way of putting it is that in republican Rome or democratic Greece, political power was thought of (even if it wasnt actually true) of working its way up from the citizen through the elected magistrates to the consuls, who were more or less twin kings elected for a single year. By contrast, in Han China, power travlled down from the all-powerful emperor through appointed officials.

NOTE, though, that Rome had kings before it was a republic, and emperors after it ceased to be a republic, and that Greece contained cities ruled by kings as well as democracies, and even the most famous democracy, Athens, wasn't a democracy all the time. It was, for example, ruled by Macedonian kings and home-grown autocrats at various times, so the question, as it stands, is a gross over-simplification.

How much homework do you get in AP World History?

It really depends on the teacher....I know some people who have gotten close to no homework, and some who spend hours a night on it. My teacher would make us read the chapters and do notes and essays on all of them, and that was pretty time consuming. Then there's always the review questions and charts to fill out...
