Who likes history? ( 20 characters!!!!!!!!)?

World War 1 and 2

PLEASE help (20 characters)?!?

Good luck with that. I don't think you'll find many pro-religion religious quotes about how it positively affects the world.

"I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition [Christianity] one redeeming feature. They are all alike, founded upon fables and mythologies." Thomas Jefferson

"Religion . . . comprises a system of wishful illusions together with a disavowal of reality, such as we find in an isolated form nowhere else but in amentia, in a state of blissful hallucinatory confusion." Sigmund Freud

"I believe that religion, generally speaking, has been a curse to mankind." H. L. Mencken

"Man is the religious animal. He is the only religious animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion – several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbor as himself and cuts his throat, if his theology isn’t straight. He has made a graveyard of the globe in trying his honest best to smooth his brother’s path to happiness and heaven." Mark Twain

"There was a time when religion ruled the world. It is known as the Dark Ages." Ruth Hurmence Green

"Religious controversies are always productive of more acrimony and irreconcilable hatreds than those which spring from any other cause." George Washington

Why does math matter? (20 characters)?

points to the person who best explains why this matters to the lives of human beings:
someone asked a question: 1. y = x to the 3 power + 5. 2. Y = x to the 4 power - 5x squared + 4.
they got their answer: 1. y = x to the 3 power + 5 For this u need to know how the graph of x^3. Now, shift the graph 5 units below the X- Axis!

it's perplexing. I'd like to help people with their algebra homework, but not when they give me the right information like a problem that is I guess too easy when it's like 54-3(y+4)-7=x when x is 5 or something like that.... but all the math questions are weird.. but I try to do them on here because it's a thing that helps my brain, but I never was good at math. So tell me why this harder equation I first listed is important in our lives?

I can see myself that when we are like saying we need part of a car: the rims are x, the steering wheel is y, the back bumper is a, the passanger seat is b, and the seatbelts are c for example...
you may wind up with a problem like: (4x)+y(b4)/3+c=t which t is a total and you cannot get any of the information till you somehow find all what each letter means, so when people pop a question that I can't get what the total it sums up to when x is a figure in the problem and it equals y, I can't seem to find out x or y, and why do we have problems like that? I see it as lack of information... What makes us think we can solve a weird problem using weird buttons on a calculator that we absolutely don't need to live our lives to survive (I survived without knowing math, I survived three years without health insurance from will to live) Math like these algebra don't seem to have a point for me...

I'm 14 and all the main characters of the book I'm writing are adults, about 20. How do I make them believable?

It helps to have a familiarity with people in their twenties if you want to write about people in that age group.Ways to connect with people in that age group include:Taking classes at a community college (sometimes high school credits can be taken there)Talking with family members in that age groupAttending group meetings with people in that age group such as church meetings, volunteerism, craft, foreign language or other interest groupWatching their behavior at the gym, swimming pool or other sporting eventObserving them at the mallReading magazines targeted toward the young working woman, parent, or college studentJoining chat groups in social media; some writers build questionnaires and ask people to help by answering the survey

Lu Xun: either Hanzi (characters) dies or china is doomed. Yes. No. Do you agree? Are characters primative?

Interent search: Hanzi characers..

1. where the characters come from/ who invented the characters..

2. why are characters still used?

3. why NOT abolish the characters...

4. Whole world/earth is using an Alphabet writing ...

5. What is reason NOT to abolish the characters????

Lu Xun wrote that " if China does not destroy the Chinese writing characters, the Chinese writing characters will destroy China "

Lu Xun believed that the Chinese writing characters were antiquated, primitive and inefficient.

Lu Xun wrote that China should change to a modern writing alphabet.

Lu Xun was right.

It is crazy for Chinese people to use a primitive 5000 years old writing system.

China will never become a modern progressive nation if the Chinese people continue to use the primitive Chinese writing characters.

Even Egyptian hyeroglyphics were better and more logical than Chinese hanzi characters. The Egyptian hyeroglyphics for a house is " a roof over a man ", whereas the stupid primitive Chinese hyeroglyphics for a house is " a roof over a pig "!!! How ridiculous of Chinese hanzi hyeroglyphics! Are we men or pigs? Why use a roof over a pig to signify a house?

The modern Egyptians do not use their 7000 years old hyeroglyphics anymore.

So why do the stupid Chinese people still use their 5000 years old hyeroglyphics?

What is wrong with Chinese people?
