What is a local ID in context of hotel rooms booking for unmarried couples?
Local ID States that you are living in locality.I would not suggest that staying unmarried couple in Hotel is a Good Idea.Whereas If You Are Booking Room, Front office will ask, Proofs Like Voter ID, PAN, Passport Etc. They will keep xerox of The Proof Of Both The Couple So, If in future any issue comes, They can show the proof to Police. Also, Sometimes in hotels at night Police Can Come For Checking and The hotel authority need to show all the proofs along with the documents of the persons staying into the room.If you provide the Address proof of the Same City in which the hotel is situated, They May Ask Loads Of Questions About Your Stay !As A Better Suggestion, Avoid Staying In Hotel.I can perfectly understand The Mentality in young age but Safety is First.Upvote The Answer If It Helped !

Why not? Unmarried couples with local IDs can easily book a hotel room in the same city. But the trouble arises when one is not able to find out which hotels accept bookings with same city’s ID. It’s a legal course. It’s just like, once upon a time, ID proofs were required to get into a Cyber Cafe in India.But then, the entire process is absolutely safe. Hotel people/staff are merely doing their job. They have no interest in your private affairs or documents.They ask for the original/duplicate from you to make a photocopy of it, so that they can store it in their database. If something happens in the hotel - may be in future - records can be accessed about who stayed and when. What is the difference between a stay over,check out,full clean in hotel rooms?
In a stay-over, the guests will be staying more than one night. Therefore, if the guests are notified either at the front desk or by a note on their bed, the following will not happen: 1. They will not get fresh towels unless their towels are left on the floor. To conserve towels and washing, etc. the guests will be asked to hang their towels up to dry for re-use. 2. They will not get fresh sheets during their stay unless it is requested. 3. In some hotels, glassware will not be washed or changed unless it is requested. A Full Clean procedure would be like when the guests check out and the room must be cleaned completely for the next guest.
Can I book a hotel room in Delhi and call my girlfriend later to spend a night?
I have done it in gurgaon 4–5 times in past one year. Irs good to go. Just check the hotel reviews. You can clearly mention to the Oyo customer care about unmarried couples room point and they will only give you the names of specific hotels who are open for unmarried ones. Also my suggestion is that dont go with cheap prices. Use at least 2000 rs + property. Generally you will find everything good about the property but when you will stay there then the reality will come out. I got one time and that was my first time so after that i asked them to give me good property only and it will be more safe. You just need both id’s from different cities. Dont pay money in advance. Use Cash option. So that before paying you can check the hotel after your visit. May be you personally do not like the environment. This happend once and i changed it with the help of customer care. They immediately booked another property near by. Irs all about the safety of our partner and surely for us too.Just a precaution if anything happend there do not open the room at any cost. Who ever is the in the mid night. Untill u itself have ordered any service.
My wife shared a hotel room with another guy?
She went to this convention with some friends last week. I knew she was going but I never asked who she was rooming with, and after she got back I happened to ask her and she said it was a guy that she is friends with. She says they just shared the room and nothing more, and I completely believe her, but this is still bothering me. She also said that there were an odd number of women in the group and they didn't want to go 3 to a room, and since there were 2 beds in the room it's no problem. She's acting like it's no big deal and called me overprotective and paranoid. What do you all think?
Going to Morocco with my boyfriend..do we have to pretend to be married?
I've seen a lot of problems with it, if you pretend to be married and they ask for proof you're screwed, so calling ahead would be a wise idea. It's not possible to look at a couple and say "Oh look at them, they're definitely married", even if you have rings. Some places shouldn't have so much of a problem, some places will. Worst problem will be having to pay for 2 rooms and spending the nights apart from each other. Be careful though, too if you call and tell them "My boyfriend and I want to stay in the same room, is it ok? " and booking a room with them at the same time. If you do that, they will know for sure you aren't married, and if someone who works there has a problem with it they might cause problems. My suggestion is to call hotels that are world-wide chains, and ask them if it's okay for you to stay there with your boyfriend, or brother even, and if they say yes, call back to schedule.
I'm 18, but hotels require you be 21 to get a room, how can i get a room?
Well, speaking from experience I have rarely been asked for any ID other than a credit card upon check-in. Most hotels are more concerned about payment than the age of the person once you arrive there although if you look too young they will ask you for confirmation of age. You can book online and present the confirmation along with your credit card (make sure you use your card) on arrival. That is generally all that I have been asked for although to be honest it has been more than a few years since I have been 18.
