So there's this guy at school and I think he likes me. I like him back. The reason(s) why I think he likes me is because at school he calls me best friend, and I don't really talk to him TOO much. He calls me miss, and walks beside me in the hall. He calls me miss and always wants me to sit next to him. I really wanna ask him out to the dance but I don't know how! What if he says no?! I will be so humiliated and embarrassed!

Just casually bring up the dance to him in Spanish. Be like, "Hey, you going to the fall dance?" Boy-- "Yeah." You-- "Ohh, who are you going with?" (act kinda casual/flirty about it) Boy-- "No one" or "(insert girls name here.) If he says that he's going with someone, just play it cool and be like ohh, thats pretty cool. But if he says no one, then be like, "Yeah I'm not going with anyone yet either..." Then.. You'll get the point across that your singlee for the dance. Hopefully he'll get the point. If your feeling bold, after you say your not going with anyone either, you could be like, "Want to go together as friends?" (Now we know you don't mean as friends but it will make him feel less pressured and then he might be more apt to going with you.) Good luck girl! (:
Prom dress for grade 11 girl?
Hey, So this guy in grade 12 that goes to another school asked to me be his prom date. Since I've already decided I'm not going to my own prom next year, I thought it'd be cool to go to this one. I'm in grade 11, and in the past, girls in 11 that go to prom don't wear those legitimate big poofy prom dresses. They typically where semi type, above the knee but still formal dresses. Advice? Does it matter? Let me know! Thanks

No, it is fine. In most states and countries, 7th and 8th grade is considered as middle school and around the time frame that opposite/same sex attractions start discovering one another.Becoming comfortable with the opposite sex (or same sex for that matter) in a mature, friendly and respectful way, such as a slow dance, is awesome segway into adulthood and dating.It also is an awesome way to learn how to deal with rejection as well. Not every guy or girl is going to be keen at the idea of slow dancing.Be nice to the person you ask. Especially if they turn you down. They could have a reason other than they just don't like you (they could have strict parents that told them no contact).Most of all, have fun!

awww thats cute first dance been there done that ok where something simple but pretty and actually dont get to dressed up cuz those dances get pretty sweaty so you should dress comfortable as for makeup wear whatever you want and ask the boy you like, guys your age are to imature to understand how awsome you are so ya ;)
