No external notification is sent to your friends.Also while logging in, Tinder redirects you to Facebook for log in, during first time login you're asked for certain permissions. There you can edit your permissions thereby controlling what can Tinder do with your Facebook account. However certain details like your email id is required to be accessed by Tinder. So, if you disallow tinder to access your email then you won't be able to login.Also I'll suggest you to make a separate Facebook account for Tinder.
