Would A Prehistoric Human Fit In Our Society

What would human society look like if there were still neanderthals around? Would religion exist if these guys had survived?

One thing is certain, Donald Trump won't be letting any of them in America!Seriously though, there would be extreme levels of xenophobia between Homo Sapiens and Neanderthals - they are a different species, after all. There would have been bloody wars between Neanderthals and our species, all the way from prehistory to modernity, most likely including unprecedented exterminations. In the technological age of this alternative history there could have been a Hitler-like guy, or Hitler himself, who engineered genocide of Neaderthals on an industrial scale - or vice versa, who knows. In any case, vast regions of the world would be now peaceful - if this parallel universe resembles ours closely enough these regions would probably be Europe, North America and the other regions that are currently peaceful. For the first time in history there would be countries with mixed neanderthal and Homo Sapiens populations living side by side, collaborating for a better tomorrow, and the most progressive countries would be taking the momentous step of legalizing cross-species marriages.

Assuming heaven exists, wouldn't prehistoric humans be there?

The Christians have various ways thought to be a work around for this challenge. But the true challenge is that Christians have misinterpreted John 14:6, that "no one gets to the father but through me". Christ was not referring to himself, rather he was referring to his style of life, his choices, his way. And as such this is why I always like to end my communications with Christians like this: It's time to stop the Jesus talk, and begin to walk the Jesus walk. :) It is time to, as NIKE would say, Just Do It. After all, sin is a choice, and may be mastered as such. And having 2000 years to meditate on and practice Christ's ways I think it is about time to start doing it. Don't you? Here is another way I can stomp this challenge out. Look no further than a newsweek poll done with beliefnet, where theey asked Christians, "Can a good person not of your faith attain salvation and/or enter heaven? A walloping 91% of Catholics believe that a good person who isn't of their religious faith will go to heaven or attain salvation!! 68% of the most extreme, the evangelicals, said yes!! Now the scary thing about all this is that these polls indicate that Christians don't even believe their own claims, or, they place a whole lot of emphasis on what others think about themselves. And what others think of you, is your false self, it is not your true self. The same false self that Prince Narcissist ran into with his image reflecting in the water. The same false image that drowned him dead. Self Malignant Love. I am just hoping that not many Christians have fallen for the false image of Christ. I fear that they have. Perhaps by the Millions. Do good, be moral, and live by the golden rule, and you will be just fine, I promise. Newsweek Source - Newsweek/Beliefnet Poll Results

Prehistoric women: sexually empowered?

In contrast to women today, I have read that prehistoric women were very promiscuous, and may have had the upper hand in sexual power.

First, having sex with many men gave women the advantage of knowing who their child was, but not letting the men know. This confused paternity and made men less likely to attack her child because of the chance it might be his.

Second, without marriage, women could go from man to man in search of the men who could give her the most sexual pleasure; if a man didn't satisfy her, she could leave him with few to no social repercussions.

Third, with multiple partners, women could force the men to compete for fertilization, and actually reshape the man's bodies over time by forcing their sperm to compete inside of her, thus favoring men with larger testes, stickier semen, and more and faster sperm.

What do you think?

If real Neanderthals still existed today, would our modern society treat them as human beings with equal rights as other humans?

They would be superior to us, and would eventually out-compete us. It has always been a mystery why they lost in the evolutionary process. They had a tremendous physical strength advantage over us, stronger resistance to bodily injury by the nature of their almost twice as thick bone structure, and a cranial capacity of over 1,700 cm compared to modern man’s average of 1,550.It has been speculated that they lost because they could not murder, whereas modern man and even chimpanzee seem to not have issue with the act of murder. This would have allowed Homo Sapiens to slowly gain the necessary advantage to win out in population growth, and eventually as the species to survive. This is also in alignment with fossil records, that do not show a clear demarcation of when their existence ceased. If they were capable of breading with Homo Sapiens, then they do exist today, where many if not all modern humans would have remnants within their DNA.

Regarding the prehistoric era and Genesis in the Bible, how do they both fit in with each other? Prehistoric times and Biblical times don’t jive.

Yes if you read the bible without applying the principles of biblical interpretation prehistoric times and biblical times wont jive. But if you apply the Gap theory all the maths will add up. the gap theory is centered on the the understanding that in Genesis the earth was created faultless and glorious and it became void‟ (Genesis 1:2 Hebrew tohu wa bohu; tohu – waste or desolate; bohu – empty or devoid of life); and „darkness‟ (Hebrew hashek – absolutely no light at all) was on the face of the „deep‟ (Hebrew tehom – abyss). How ever Isaiah 45:18 shows us that God did NOT create the earth „void‟ (Hebrew tohu wa bohu). It is highly likely that millions and millions of years could have passed between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 where a pre-Adamic civilization was flourished. The garden of Eden during as described in Ezekiel 28:13-14 seems to be a different Garden of Eden from Adam‟s time. It was filled with precious stones). Moreover, the words tohu and bohu have been used to described the fall and destruction of Edom (Isaiah 34:11 …He shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion – tohu – and the stones of emptiness – bohu). The prophet Jeremiah describes the destruction of Israel as tohu wa bohu (Jeremiah 4:23 partially fulfilled under Nebuchadnezzar). It is highly possible that there was a total and complete destruction of a pre-Adamic civilization that led to the earth becoming without form and void in Genesis 1:2.There is also the choice use of the word „create‟ (Genesis 1:1 Hebrew bara – out of nothing; also found in Genesis 1:21, 27; 2:3, 4; 5:1, 2) which differs from the word „made‟ (Genesis 1:7 Hebrew asah – recreated out of pre-existing materials

Are modern humans stronger and more fit than our ancestors?

Depends which ancestor are we looking at - mostly answer would be no. We are larger than our prehistoric hunter ancestors, but some studies show they could be incredibly strong due to their way of life. See: How Far Fitness Has Fallen Even early medieval men were quite buff, as evidenced by the massive longbows common in the armies of the time. Or, how far would we carry a full-sized pike? And then fight with it?But both the prehistoric hunter and the medieval pike-man would of course also count as ‘modern humans’, scientifically speaking. Our immediate ancestor, Homo erectus, was possibly taller than us (on average, there was a lot of size variation), but otherwise fairly similar to us in body shape. However, you would definitely not want to pick a fight with some of the even earlier ancestors, but might have a chance at running away from them (only if you have been training). Luckily, someone else has been researching this too before: Caveman vs. Modern Human: Who Would Win Olympic Gold?
