They also did a video parody of a DaveDays song with DaveDays. - ShayCarl is married to Katilette and other than being friends with pretty much everyone, they're friends with Olinselot, who lives near them and also has a blog of his family (phamdamily) - JoeNation is living with OlgaKay and ExoticJess. He also sometimes films for BlackBoxTV - CharlesTrippy is engaged to and vlogs daily with Alli Speed (alli). Friends of theirs include ShayCarl, BretttheIntern, Jesse and Gina (prankvsprank), and more. - Phillip DeFranco (sxephil) got ShayCarl into YouTube and they're friends. Sxephil's girlfriend is Lindsday (bgirl5 or bravesgirl5) - Tony Valenzuela (blackboxtv) works with Phillip DeFranco on blackboxtv. - BrittaniLouiseTaylor is friends with ShaneDawson and they do a lot of videos together. - Smosh consists of Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla. They've done some videos with Ryan Higa (nigahiga) and TheWillofDC. - Ian of Smosh pranked RayWilliamJohnson on the phone in an Ian is Bored (ianh) video. Would you be friends with a YouTuber?
I am friends with a YouTuber. Obviously, I won’t name names here. He’s pretty much like everyone else I know. Friendly, laid-back, good guy to have a beer with. He’s a bit self-centered and definitely has a one track mind, but he’s fun to hang out with nevertheless. I don’t watch his YouTube videos (no interest in the topics he covers) so I guess that makes the friendship work. I’m not constantly idolizing him and can therefore treat him like I would anyone else. He does talk about his projects a lot, but I guess that ’s no different from any friend talking about his or her work/job.
What YouTuber would you want as your best friend?
HelloGreedo. He does Star Wars videos, but he’s sort of not like the rest.Greedo is thoughtful and insightful, but he’s not afraid of pissing people off by praising things he likes about the franchise, but also he’s always ready to say something is crap when it’s crap. That basically means that on any given upload day he has half the fans calling him a traitor to the fandom, and the other half calling him a Disney schill. Then the next day it’ll go the other way depending on what his latest video says. The Star Wars fandom is a bit of a mess…The videos he makes are reviews of Star Wars films and TV shows, he also streams games and makes brilliantly funny parody videos that are usually referencing the sorts of clickbait theory videos that some other channels pump out several times a day.I think he’d be a lot of fun to be friends with because he’s funny and being a US Navy veteran he’s probably got a lot of interesting stories.
My friend might want to stop college to become a youtuber (read description)?
So I was having a chat with one of my best friends and I asked them if they were going to get their associates degree or transfer to a 4 year university after community college. They said they didn't know yet, but if they couldn't find anything they wanted to do in 2 years they were gonna quit to start a youtube channel. I didn't really say anythig, but idk if I should have slapped some sense into my friend. Would that be wrong? Should I just let them be or should I offer some friendly advice? And I understand that people can make it on youtube, but the truth is most don't. I don't want to sound harsh but I just don't want to see my friend miserable in the future.
