Does anyone know of any work at home jobs?

Kristina,

Please be very careful when looking for a work from home company. There are a lot of scams out there. I teach people how to avoid these scams and what to look for in a home business.

We are having a freedom tour that is traveling to eastern US and Canada in 2008 and western US and Canada in 2009. This is focused on educating people about working from home. Visit http://WorkWithRoxanne.com for more details. You can get free seats.

Don't jump into anything without being educated on what to look for. Of course I think the company I work with is the best - we all think that. I think my husband is the best. That doesn't mean his type of person is right for everyone. Do your homework and find what works for YOU.

Good Luck to you.

Roxanne

What is the shortest distance is space ever measured?

Again, not interested in theoretical concepts like the Plank Length, which are derived from computations and is considered the smallest measurement theoretically possible, but as far as I can we have not yet developed a device that can measure on that scale. I'm not looking for calculations, I'm looking for actual measurement. The example I used for time I used because of they "produced images" of the electrons at 100 attosecond intervals. Ultimately a measurement of time is a measurement of an object's change in space and maybe the example I cite is my answer, but I'm not at all confident that is the case.

Is private sector investment in human space exploration preferable to public sector investment?

It's probably best to have a public-private partnership in "human space exploration". At present, NASA is giving seed money to commercial aerospace companies to develop cargo and crew capsules. But this money is paid ONLY when these companies achieve certain milestones. That's a whole new approach compared to a giving contracts which is how NASA used to run its human spaceflight program.
In the old days, NASA maintained and operated the shuttles which incurred huge cost overheads. By seeding the commercial or "private sector", NASA will pay for seats leaving maintenance operations to commercial companies. Even so, these companies will still need to market their product (capsules) to potential customers such as NASA. The ultimate aim is to lower the cost of access to space which, at the moment, remains prohibitively expensive. But give the new plan a chance.

What future developments that are likely to influence future space exploration?

Scientific ; We have come a long way since the moon landings and with the help of robotics , nano technology and propulsion systems in development space exploration isn't that far of a grasp away which will help considerably more with understanding the Cosmo and protecting Earth and its inhabitants for long term survival .

Financial / Political ; As we are burning through Earths natural resources space exploration could help us to discover and mine from other solar system bodies like from example asteroids . Unfortunately due to the politics and the cost behind space exploration , this is quite a set back . The government would rather put there allocated money into other sources than scientific research centers such as NASA .

Social reasons ; Space exploration has united nations to collaborate together and work as a team which has had positive , peaceful cooperation in social structures . It would also promote Science education and inspire a whole new generation to pursue careers in math and science .
