Did anyone hate Walter White in Breaking Bad?

That's the beauty of the show. You can't help but love him, but you can't help but hate him for what he did either. You start out by feeling sorry for him, loving him for his passion of Chemistry, and his unwanted encounter with cancer. Then you start appreciating his desperation, his self-righteousness and him standing up for Jesse and in the face of drug-dealers. You start thinking - hey, he's just a good guy in a bad situation. He's doing it for his family. Then things start heating up. Lives are put in danger, he starts relishing small successes. He forgets often that cooking was simply a means to an end. His cancer may be going away - why does he still have to continue then? His wife leaves him. He lies, deceits, gets involved in things way beyond what he initially signed up for. His greed and addiction get the better of him. Innocents die. He starts going down a path which leads to him to alienating his family, friends and everyone elseIn a final act - he runs away. But only to come back in a last act of vengeance and atonement for his past sins.
