Would Hillary Clinton Not Be A Great President Simply Because .

Rudy Juliani for president or Hillary Clinton!!?

I would vote for Giuliani. I want to see a woman president, but I don't feel Hillary is the right person.

To trigger_silence: How did Giuliani fumble 9/11? He was widely praised by Democrats and Republicans for the leadership he demonstrated that day. I don't think you know what you are talking about.

If Hillary Clinton has great ideas to boost the economy and jobs, why didn't she tell President Obama?

If the Donald has a secret plan to defeat ISIS [and he says he has one], why not share it now? When he has lost the election, then I guess we’ll never find out what it was…because he won’t share it then either. Any more than he will share his tax returns, which he has also said he would provide, despite having no intention of doing so.The secret is that he doesn’t have a plan.Do you really want this poor excuse for a candidate to become President and represent your country to the world? He won’t.

"Bill Clinton: George H.W. Bush will help President Hillary" Proof that the elites are buddies in private?

How "private" can it be if he's allowed quotes of the exchange? If this was all so nefarious, why wasn't that liberal, meddling, busybody reporter SILENCED for daring to print something unflattering to America's Number One Criminal Mastermind, Bill Clinton?

As for your last question, anyone who is taken in by the rantings of a "blog". It WOULD be nice to have a viable third party, but the only reason to start one now, without any meaningful campaign finanace reform, is to just let more pigs feed at the corporate trough. Just a whole NOTHER set of rich, disconnected white men who have only one interest: Being part of what makes Washington, well, WASHINGTON: Fat pensions for doing nothing, a good ole boy system unparalleled in the rest of the world, a singleminded goal of eradicating ANY non-service job from the US.

On a different level, is it really so unbelievable, a past President might actually ASSIST a soon-to-be (well, we'll see anyway) President? Even one of another Party? In the interests of the citizens of the US (I know, I would find this mighty hard to believe too, but who knows?)?

So what youre cynicism is telling you is that Clinton and Bush Sr are in cahoots, but Bush Sr and Bush Jr AREN'T? Part of my constant and ever widening dismay with this President, is he has (or had) unprecedented access to the experience of more living Presidents, than any sitting President before him, not to mention one of those Presidents is his own FATHER.
How many times have you heard stories about Bush Jr calling his dad to the White House over some security emergency or other? NONE?
No one else has either. Let us not forget Bush Sr was Director of the CIA for MANY years, Vice President for 8, and Chief Executive for 4 (4 odd years, but at least we didn't the Supreme Court to determine what President Americans elected THAT election).
Bush Sr (I know thats not his name I type it that way just for shorthand) also receives daily intel briefs from ALL US and Allied intel services, a prerogative of ALL past Presidents, but one so far only exercised by Bush Sr. As far as foreign intelligence gathering, there are few living individuals as experienced or as capable as our former President Bush.
(Domestic policies sucked wind, but militarily and forieng relations wise, Bush Sr was da Bomb [how old am I?? lol])

What has Hillary Clinton accomplished ?

1. She wouldn't have been able to get into the Senate if not for her marriage to Bill.

2. She utterly failed to pass her health care program in the 1990s.

3. Her foreign policy experience consists entirely of meeting people. She has NEVER negotiated a treaty or been an ambassador.

4. She hasn't told us of any key legislation that she has written.

5. Her non-profit job in the community lasted less than a year.

6. She has only been an elected official (Senator) for 7 years.

So what exactly has she done , on her own, that qualifies her to be President ?

Would Chelsea Clinton make a good president?

We have absolutely no way to know. Chelsea Clinton has never held elected office or served in any even remotely comparable role, and thus we have no way to evaluate her fitness for the role. Chelsea Clinton appears to primarily “work” as an influence broker, someone that an organization will pay a large sum of money to serve on an advisory board or in some other way in order to gain access to the large network of relationships that she has access to through her parents. She did work for a while as an on-air personality for NBC. Since her marriage to Marc Mezvinsky, Chelsea Clinton appears to have had no income of her own, donating all of her honoraria for her public speeches and other events to the Clinton Foundation. Mr. Mezvinsky is an investment banker of substantial wealth, and it is reasonable to assume that his income is more than sufficient to provide their family with sufficient resources to live comfortably. We simply don’t know much of anything at all about her that would allow us to evaluate her fitness for public office.I surmise that Chelsea Clinton has no interest in serving in a political role; if she had, she would have already sought public office of some sort by now. Whatever her personal ambitions might be, they do not appear to include being much in the public limelight, and that isn’t exactly compatible with holding public office.

Should all women vote for Hillary Clinton?

I don’t think all women should vote for Hillary, but I do think it’s important to know that she will be able to relate to women differently than a man, many of whom just see women as a demographic and don’t care at all about women’s issues or think they have a right to control women’s bodies, like Trump saying women who get abortions should get jail time. Also, I think it’s important to know that there will be a lot of men who won’t vote for her simply because she’s a woman. So if you want to vote for her simply because of her gender then go for it, there will be a lot of people not voting for her because of it.You can use whatever criteria you want to decide who to vote for, but as a woman and as a feminist I think it’s important for women to support each other, especially when a woman is attempting to make a historic benchmark achievement for all women. And I want to add, if she wins she will be the first female president and will get more scrutiny because of it, she will probably work harder than any of the other candidates, because there will be some people who are saying she messed up because she can’t handle the pressure, isn’t a leader because she’s a woman etc.But if you don’t agree with her politics don’t vote for her, if you don’t like her don’t vote for her. To say women have to vote for her because she’s a woman is like saying all republicans have to vote for Trump and I hope to god they don’t.

Why do so many people hate Hillary Clinton?

For every person who "hates" Hillary there is probably one who "loves" her. People in the public eye, especially politicians, are going to be extremely controversial. In a country of almost 300 million people, with almost 300 million different opinions about everything, ANY prominent person, especially if she acquires fame or wealth through marriage, is going to attract (unfavorable) attention to herself and her more prominent supporters.

The fact that Hillary (and many of her supporters) have often gone out of their way to offend and antagonise critics certainly adds fuel to the fire (remember her remarks about being "co-President" and "not staying at home to bake cookies..."

On the whole, Hillary Clinton hasn't been criticised, attacked, or publicly demeaned any more (or less) than other people in her position, and I suspect that, like them, she gives as good as she gets.

Of course, and this is true of politicians everywhere, Where there is smoke, there is usually fire. There IS a lot about them to hate, despise, and ridicule!! Hillary (and Bill) are certainly no BETTER than the average run of public official infesting the governments that misrules us. Most of the criticism and revulsion simply reflects this. If you doubt this, look at the last election, and how it clearly showed public outrage at Americans being lied to about Iraq by STUPID and his Republican stooges! Feminists and Democrats are certainly not the only ones in the firing line.

I hope that my answer gave you a little perspective on Hillary-hate.

I would rather live in a country where politicians, media celebrities, and high level bureaucrats and Judges ARE subject to unrelenting and (sometimes even unfair) scrutiny and criticism than one where everyone just obeys orders, and even worse, slobbers over and worships those cretins. How about you??

Are you still glad Hillary Clinton didn’t win?

I’m furious that Hillary Clinton didn’t win…not because I particularly like Hillary Clinton, but because I feel that her comportment as a states-person far exceeds that of our current President. With Clinton I was fairly certain about some things:Policy would not have been dictated from her twitter accountIndividuals that she hired at the start of her administration would still be thereSocial policies would have been strengthened; not dismantledForeign relations would have been strengthened; not dismantledThe EPA would still be intactAnd, the Supreme Court would remain balancedThese are just a few things that quickly come to mind.I admit that I didn’t think Clinton was the “best” candidate for the Democratic Party, but I knew she would be better than Trump. I know many people who put Trump in office simply because they voted against Clinton. I don’t think they really understood what they were doing. I’ve never been enamored with Trump or the Trump “brand.” Some were looking at Trump as the great business man…I don’t see that either.
