Vertu phone on Verizon?

I am interested in purchasing a Vertu phone, www.vertu.com, more specifically the Vertu Ascent Ti.
I currently live in NJ and have a Verizon plan and my contract is up in November. I would like to stay with Verizon.

Will I be able to use a Vertu Ascent Ti phone with Verizon service in the US?
If so, how do I go about doing so.

Thanks in advance!

I'm 18. Can I have a contract with Verizon?

Okay. First of all, please DO NOT make this into a mobile service war (Why go with Verizon? T-mobile is soooooo much better). As a consumer I have already made my choice. I would like a contract with verizon wireless.

My question is: I'm 18 and i'v been a verizon customer on my dads plan for many years. I love Verizon and have recently been employed by Verizon. I currently have the iPhone 5 and want to upgrade and move off onto my own service. The problem is, even as an employee, I can't find any REAL answers on this situation. So I'm asking to get a general feel or to see of maybe someone else was in the same situation.

I do not want to be with prepaid. I want a two year contract with Verizon because I was hoping to upgrade my phone to the Samsung Galaxy Note III.

Problem is: 1). I'm 18, 2). I don't have any credit or other experience with contracts, 3). I don't have a state ID or anything like that (I will in about two weeks but I get paid on Friday and was hoping to upgrade my stuff over the weekend).

Would I be able to do this?

Thanks a bunch.

If I call Verizon and get my IP address changed, will I be able to evade a permanent ban on 4chan?

Yes. If your ip address is changed 4chan cant identify you as the person who was banned. I dont recommend doing that though.

My verizon account was locked?

There are two levels of "locked" that can apply to your online account with Verizon Wireless.

If you have unsuccessfully attempted to log in several times, you will be blocked from trying again for several hours. I believe this lasts for three hours, but I'm not certain. If this happens, you will need to either wait it out or try to reset your Online Password. If you call Customer Service at this step, they will only be able to walk you through resetting the password, which is something you really should be able to do on your own.

Now, if you have unsuccessfully attempted to reset the Online Password so many times, you will be given a message stating your account has been locked and at this point you WILL need to contact customer service to have the account unlocked. You will still have to verify account information at this point, but your Customer Service Rep can assist in "secondary verification" if you need it. As long as you can verify the account, they will lift the second-tier block and walk you through resetting the Online Password as before.

In order to reset the Online Password, you will need three of four things: Your five-digit billing zip code as it appears on your bill and either the last four digits of the account holder's SSN (or tax ID for business accounts) or the one-to-five digit Billing Password (this is different from the Online Password) if one has been established. Once that is clear, you will need to either be able to answer the Secret Question, if established, or have the phone number you entered available to receive a temporary Online Password through text.

Can you use a Verizon phone with Metro PCS?

Verizon Wireless network is a mixed network CDMA2000 and 4G-LTE[1] .Old Verizon phones work exclusively on CDMA2000 while new phones work on both standards.MetroPCS uses T-Mobile network which is a GSM (2G, 3G) and 4G-LTE network[2] .As for the frequencies used, the only possibility for a Verizon phone to work on a MetroPCS network is when it uses the AWS frequency 1700/2100, the protocol LTE and the Band Number 4, which is still not completely rolled out by T-Mobile.In other words, you may have little chances to make it work. Check with T-Mobile to see if their 1700/2100 frequency already supports LTE in the areas of your interest. This, of course, as long as the Verizon phone is not locked to work only with Verizon network.Footnotes[1] Verizon Wireless - Wikipedia[2] T-Mobile US - Wikipedia

Will I be able to unlock a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 for use in Europe?

I do not think so. Check with your service provider if it will take in a EU SIM. If you are more adventurous, I can suggest you put in a custom ROM. Cyanogenmod has made is really simple to get done (if your phone is listed ) Check : CyanogenMod Installer What this will do is put a custom ROM on the phone ( the OS will get changed from the one provided by Samsung ). You will need to check if this violates your warranty. Else you are stuck.

Can I switch my metroPCS to Verizon?

It depends on your phone brand and model. But the general answer is no, you won't be able to switch. However, there is a small chance you can do it. First, you need to know that MetroPCS is a GSM network whereas Verizon is a CDMA network. These are two incompatible network technologies and you can't use a GSM phone with a CDMA network and vice versa. But the latest smartphones, like Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 support both GSM and CDMA network technology. So, in theory, you could use a MetroPCS S8 or Note 8 on the Verizon network.First, before taking any actions, you need to verify two things:Check if your phone is locked to MetroPCS and if you need to unlock it. All you have to do is to insert a GSM non-MetroPCS SIM card and place a call. If your phone allows you, it's unlocked and you can proceed to the next step. However, if your phone asks you to perform the network unlock process through the device unlock app, you will need to unlock it before switching to Verizon.Check if Verizon allows your phone type and model in their network. You just need to go to Verizon and ask them if you can use your current phone with their network. So, to answer your question, it depends on your phone. You might be able to do it or not. This is why you have to check the steps listed above.

Would I be able to activate a Motorola Razr on Verizon’s current network?

If the device was purchased as a locked phone from a determined company, you will have to contact that company to get the unlock code. Then, you need to get in touch with Verizon to check if the device is compatible with their network. If the device is unlocked, then, just get in touch with Verizon customer service.Marvin

How do I switch my Verizon phone to Metro?

Hello,Unless your Verizon phone is unlocked and supports GSM (a SIM Card) it will not work.Verizon uses CDMA and MetroPCS uses GSM technologies. The two are not compatible. So if your Verizon phone was purchased from Verizon or a Verizon retailer you have two options. Eather buy a MetroPCS phone or buy an unlocked GSM capable phone. My personal preference is an unlocked phone. The reason I say this is that you will get a better phone for your money. Unless MetroPCS is offering a free phone deal. Then I would take the deal and still buy an unlocked phone. Typically the free phone deal is for a basic bare bones phone which would serve as a backup devive, not always the case but typicallyYou can however transfer your number if you are in the same area. This is called Number Portability. A completely different proposition.
