Would It Be Bad If I Only Drank Stuff For Most Of The Rest Of My Life

What if you just drink water your whole life and no other drink??

This would be fine - you could get calcium etc from foods.

Drinking at the age of 15, is that bad?

Since drinking is illegal at your age, and you know that especially if you have a parent that is a lawyer. You can get yourself in a great deal of trouble with the law and ruin the rest of your life.

Spoiled yes. Spoiled should not mean stupid acting, and I suggest you stop the partying before you are under arrest and disgrace yourself and your parents.

You are too young to realize that you do not really have any social status, your are being used by others and encouraging them to commit illegal acts as well.

You have your whole life ahead of you, but may ruin it very quickly with this type of behavior.

Is drinking once in a while bad?

It is possible that being compulsory and even neurotic about your health, could in itself, be bad to your health.

Just try not to over think what it takes to be healthy.

Certain alcoholic beverages do contain things that are beneficial. Red wine is high in anti-oxidants that help reduce the risk of cancer. Red wine can also lower cholesterol. Beer made with hops and barley is rich in vitamins that are good for your immune system. It also has carbohydrates that can provide the body with a quick boost of energy. In fact, in years past, liquor was sometimes used as currency to pay for labor and other services.

The catch is really in the numbers - how much are your drinking? Its not even so much how often, but how much you drink. You can drink beer everyday for the rest of your life and be healthy as an ox - if you're only drinking one can of beer a day.

That is because your body has a natural ability to handle so much alcohol on its own. When you drink in excess, your body, particularly your liver, is pushed harder to process the alcohol. This actually produces a toxic enzyme called ETG. This enzyme is poison to the body. Its terrible on your liver, your kidneys and every other major organ in your body. It causes the body to release stress hormones and this coupled with dehydration is what leads to hang overs.

In the short term, binge drinking, probably is not going to do any permanent damage - to a point. Obviously if you really over do it, you can over dose or do more permanent damage. In the long term chronic alcoholism (chronically drinking in excess to the point of being drunk) will cause permanent damage to every major organ in your body. The liver is what takes the most damage.

But all that is what you should have learned in high school. To answer your question frankly, not drinking at all is healthier than drinking even moderately. However, if you have just a beer or two or a glass of wine or a shot of something harder but that is all you drink, your body can handle that amount and its not as hard on it. Its when you drink excessively, that your body is continually trying to fix it self again. Eventually this repeated abuse leads to health problems.

Never drank, smoked, kissed at 18? Is this weird?

That's not weird, I'm the same way. It just means that you have higher standards than most people, and you are a better person if you are able to keep from doing this stuff anyway.

Also, don't worry about the whole guy thing, guys don't seem to like me, either, and I'm not unattractive ( I look surprisingly like my avatar). It's just because I'm smart, tall, and a "good girl". That's the only reason they don't go for me.

You're fine, don't worry about it. When you're ready, guys will come after you, and when you are old enough, it's okay to drink now and then if you do it safely.
