Would It Be Okay To Pop A Zit From A Random Person

Pimple like bumps on random parts of my body?

I believe that you may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa.of re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses , that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean or over wieght and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there.
Here is a link :

or the HS_USA page is ..
http://www.hs-usa.org/hidradenitis_suppu...

If this sounds like it might be you, READ it, PRINT it out, and TAKE it to your DOC.
Its better to try to start treatment soon, it can spread over the body if left untreated. These boils can become quite large and painful. Sometimes even lasting for weeks or months , do not attempt to POP them they can then tunnel under your skin and spread all over the body. Most common areas are armpits, groin, binkni line, inner legs, and intimate places and basically anywhere that sweats and rub against clothing. Stress is a big inducer.

There is a support group at MSN

This is also a link to a PDF of a study in Germany about HS and if it is genetic... I thought it was intresting :

and a yahoo one, and I am open for questions!
I have had this for 8 years, I was misdiagnosed for a LONG time, It was very embarrassing, painful and scary. I am just trying to help out so you don’t have to wait as long as I did.

Currently I have 5 , 2 next to each other on my right inner groin. 2 in my upper HAIR area, and 1 med sized on my butt on the panty line, and they do come every week or so. I find that certian foods, not having a regular showering regimen, wearing clothing that irratiates the area.. and STRESS usually are a precusor to getting one.

I also prefer to use NEXCARE bandages.. there are 2 kinds I like for comfort and stay put reasons..
the first is like a clear bandaid.... soft on the edges with a small area of bandage... helps with those buggers when they are on bikni line.. usually stay for me.. or occasionally on my inner thigh for those I like the foamy sponge like ones that are beige in color.. I think they are 3M.

Can you get HIV from popping someone’s pimples?

Good question!Pimples are small fluid filled blister like growths that form due to the clogging of pores in the human skin. Sometimes when we pop them, we can see a variety of things come out, and in short, it’s a treasure trove of bacteria, mucus, water, blood, and other gross things. When you pop a pimple, blood may produce if the pimple was rather large. People with cystic acne generally suffer from pimples that bleed. If you popped a pimple of an HIV positive individual, and blood was produced, that bloodis HIV positive and if the blood comes into contact with an open wound of yours, you may be at risk for contraction. It however would be ridiculously slim chanced for someone to contract HIV from such an event. We usually contract HIV from participating in risk events such as unprotected penetrative sex, needle sharing, or through the breastfeeding of children. If you are still worried, you can go get a rather affordable HIV blood test 90 days after the risk event. Tests at 90 days are considered conclusive.

My belly button piercing has a bubble around the bottom hole?

Hey I had the same problem. It either a keloid or scarring. Leave it alone. It will go away eventually. I am prone to keloids, and all my piercings have had them. I have also had all my piercings infected. DO NOT TAKE IT OUT. If it is infected, the ring will allow it to drain. When mine was infected really badly it pussed and would thump if I even bumped it or layed on my stomach. Also make sure if you are using the "banana" or "curved" barbells in it, make sure they are the right length for the depth of your piercing. A navel piercing has a high tendency to reject like other "surface" piercings. My friend had hers done the same day and it rejected due to the jewelry she put it in and stretch marks from her having 2 children. Mine took from October 2007 until June 2008 to stop pusing, and for my bumps to go away. My traugs took 1 year from the bumps to go away. Try using something called H2Ocean on it. It works wonders for me. Just spray it on the piercing a few times a day or soak the piercing with it sprayed on a cotton ball. If you cant get H2Ocean use Sea Salt ( not table salt) mixed with warm water. It will do the same thing. And are you using a type of cheap metal in you jewelry. I can wear surgical steel, but if I use belly button rings from Hot Topic or those jewelry pagodas my bump comes back. Don't give up on it and don't take it out unless you check with your piercer. And find a piece of jewelry ( preferably not one of those overly-decorative ones I used a longer curved/banana barbell that only had 2 gems on it) and just use the H2Ocean or warm sea salt water, and dont try and pop any bubbles. Trust me the fight is worth it. I have fought with all my piercings ( my monroe, 12-00g. earrings, belly button, now retired snake bites...) I'm getting my eyebrow done an I know it will get infected but its worth the battle.

What does green pus coming out of pimples mean?

Firstly, understand which type of skin inflammation you are having-There are 4 types of pimple stages-PapulePustuleNoduleCystLet the diagrams explain everything:Papules when large in number makes your skin like a sand paper as shown below. They are red in colour without any pus.But your case seems to be the second one where the problem was getting bigger and the bacteria were rising in number so to fight them white blood cells have joined the battle. The green thing coming out is the mix of ‘blood’ that has been shed during the fight between bacteria and WBC along with some dead skin cells too.A great fight at microscopic level. Now do tell me how are you feeling after knowing there are numerous such fights going on in our body?Take care!

Nose piercing has a puss-filled bump slightly above it!?

You have a cyst that got infected. This is fairly common on new piercings, especially if you don't clean it 2 times for the whole healing period.

How to treat : Sea salt soaks 2-3 times a day.

Warm water + non iodized salt mixed in a cup.( 1/4-1/8 teaspoon non iodized salt + 8oz water ) Soak the piercing in for 5-10 minutes, 2-3 times a day. Use a q-tip to clean around the piercing thoroughly, rinse with water and pat it dry with a paper towel.

If you are not familiar with sea salt soaks and you find it difficult to soak the piercing in take a cotton ball and soak it in the mixture. Apply on the piercing for 5-10 minutes.

This will treat the infection, avoid new ones and help the piercing to heal.

This piercing will take at about 3 months to fully heal, so you need to keep cleaning it 2 times a day with non alcohol/non scent antibacterial soap ( example : Dial ) or sea salt soaks until it has fully healed.

If you had been doing that from the start you wouldn't have that issue now.

Never ever use alcohol, peroxide, bactine or any other ointment on the new piercing aka the open wound. They are harsh and they will irritate the piercing, take away the good bacteria that are needed for the healing and this will lead to a new infection.

Gluck
-------------

No professional piercer will ever suggest to clean a piercing with rubbing alcohol or anything else than sea salt or H2Ocean ( same thing ) or non antibacterial soap.

If your piercer did, do not to that piercer again he is clearly not a professional and has no experience in piercings.

If you got it done at Clare's or a place similar to that with a piercing gun and not a needle then the person who did it is not a professional licensed piercer.
