Would It Be Possible To Win An Appeal For This Violation Notice

Appeal Violation Decision: Question Deleted you will lose 10 points because my answer was reported by some already deleted question?

The answer on Yahoo Answers was reported and deleted by one or more trusted members of the Answers community: the question was in Spanish I answered in Spanish the question was deleted lost an appeal because the question was already deleted? How will I know that?

My answer was a real answer and I don't know what terms I violate can someone in yahoo explain me the deal?

Is there any reason not to appeal a violation notice just for the heck of it?

if your appeal fails it costs you 10 points so unless you are sure of yourself don't bother.

What happens if you were cited for a parking violation but never received the ticket?

The answer that question of course will depend upon when the citation was received, where it was received and if it was even filed correctly by the officer, the parking meter attendant or the city.A number of municipalities have lost hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars in revenue by the incorrect handling of fines.A suggestion would be to call the government office in the municipality where you received a parking citation and asking about it. It's quite possible that there is no record of the parking citation and that due to a clerical oversight you get away with the offense. However, from personal experience, I would suggest paying this citation if it shown in the system as soon as possible. In some municipalities, unpaid parking citations can generate warrants for arrest.UPDATE: Many municipalities are now using credit collection agencies to obtain payments for delinquent tickets. The agencies will locate you and either harass you until you make a payment. Or they will post the debt in your credit report which may damage your credit until you have paid the amount in full.

How do I write the best possible Parking Ticket Appeal Letter?

Thanks for A2A. Start with figuring out why you should get a pass on the parking ticket. Did you have some kind of true emergency (I was late to class is not an emergency)? Did your car break down? Were you or a family taken ill suddenly?Start off with something like: “I am writing to appeal the parking ticket issued by Officer _____ on (give the date and street.)I was unable to move my car because (….and explain your emergency.)In consideration of this letter, please rescind this parking ticket.Your best bet, most likely, is to pay the ticket and move on.

Can you get an appeal twice for the same question on yahoo answers?

I don't know how legal it is but I have done it a while ago. I appeal and it was denied, I feel that it was the wrong decision so I used the alternated appeal form and appealed it again and won. My answer was reposted and I got my points back.

I have also had my answer report and removed. I appealed it and won. Then it was reported again (I am sure by someone with multi accounts) I also won that appeal.

So yes it can be done.

How do you fight a parking violation ticket?

The first thing you should do is check the parking ticket to see how much time you have to make your appeal, and where to do it.  Then, you should write out an appeal, based on your position that the parking ticket is not warranted. For example, do you think the meter isn't working properly?  Write something like, "I parked at meter #xx at 8 am and deposited $2.50.  This should have allowed me to park until 10:30 am.  When I returned to my car at 10:26 am, I discovered the parking ticket.  The parking ticket was written at 10:19 am, meaning the meter was off by at least 11 minutes."Do you disagree with "No Parking" signage or confusing/conflicting signs?  Take a photo of the signs (or their placement in conjunction with your parking space) and include that with your appeal.  Google Earth is an excellent tool for this, since you can get a very nice overhead view of the area.  You can highlight your car's position and where the signs are located to show how there wasn't enough notice available. Was the offense based on a minor technicality?  Many years ago, I went to vote at the local polling place.  I parked in a legal parking space, but didn't notice that my rear bumper was sticking out past the "No Parking" yellow curb markings.  When I came out from voting, I found the ticket.  I wrote an appeal explaining what happened and the ticket was voided.Now... if you actually, knowingly parked improperly, but don't think it's "fair" that you got a citation, I suggest just paying the fine.

What do you do on Yahoo when you are not violating any TOS but someone mad at you is reporting all your questions as a bully?

In the broader sense,,,,,,,,,,there is nothing you can do.

I have had a troll stalker bothering me for the last two and a half YEARS, Ninefinger has been suspended countless times, but has endless sock puppets. Suspend 10 of them and he creates 20 more. Yahoo does nothing about that. They might suspend 5.....10, 15 of his accounts.......and he makes 30 more.

it's endless. So you either end up spending all YOUR time, reporting the putz....which , as I say, is futile in the end.......anyway..................or you just ignore them.

a troll like this with 50 sock accounts, can use all 50 of them, to report you 50 times, getting your answers immediately removed, with no violation notices and no appeals.

but using that trick....doesn't effect your account.....it just triggers automatic deletion software.....and you lose no points. It's annoying, but Yahoo doesn't stop it.

Once the troll learns the trick.....there is no virtually no stopping them.

A good troll can create 20 accounts A DAY. I've seen point gamers go from level 1 to level 7 in less than two weeks.

I imagine they live on a toilet chair in front of their computers 24-7.........but it can be done. ..if you're sick in the head enough,.

My stalker has proven this.

Uc berkeley parking violation, appeal was denied by mail. best way to win second appeal?

Probably need to take it to the next court up.

Two times, huh?? Has anyone else had this problem with the meters?

It's not hard to check ticket issuing meters out. Especially if someone came in after you left and go a ticket.

Two times?? What was it the Judge didn't understand?
