Is it weird that the girl who rejected me is still talking to me on rather friendly terms?
If its making it difficult for you to move on, then you should go No Contact---stop interacting with her in person or through technology. NO CONTACT. Do not call, text, Facebook her---nothing. And don't allow her to contact you. She has what she wants yet you don't. Of course she's happy. She gets to reject you yet have the privilege of your company. I suspect you feel inadequate every time you interact with her. Is that fair? I personally believe people are not entitled to any of your time once they hurt you.So you have two choices: 1. Either continue to be miserable and allow her to spin your feelings like thread in a sewing machine and continue the "friendship" 2. You walk away and begin putting the pieces of your life back together. This will open you up to another woman who would love to have you by her side. However, if you're not over this girl, you shouldn't try to get into a relationship until you are. No use bringing baggage into a new relationship when the new woman isn't the conductor of the train you left behind. Take care. xo
I want to buy a very expensive gift for my friend. Is this weird?
It’s only weird because she will then feel that she somehow owes you. Gifts are usually given to show levels of appreciation. If you give her an expensive gift you are telling her that you hold her in very special regard and that might be more than the casual friendship feelings she holds for you. It puts her in an awkward position. See what I mean? If you do want to get her something to show her that you care about her desire to own something expensive what you can do instead is give her a gift that is a token and not the object itself, something of far less value but that will still express your interest in her happiness as it relates to the expensive thing she wants. Some examples are: gift cards for a car wash if she doesn’t have the car of her dream yet or a baseball cap to her favorite team that is across the country instead of tickets to the ball game and first class plane tickets or a charm bracelet instead of diamond studded earrings.Best wishes!
Is giving a note to a girl a bad idea?!!?
Ok so theres this girl in one my courses that im really attracted to! But im really shy and haven't talked to her yet! And she basically sits on the opposite side of the room as me, so id feel weird if one day i just sat over by her...but surprisingly i've caught her a couple times just looking at me haha i know it probably doesn't mean anything but it happens quite frequently!... But anyways i was talking to my one of my friends this weekend and he told me that one day at work he saw an attractive girl , wrote his name and number on a piece of paper and just went up to her and said "I Think you dropped this" , then walked away! and what do you know , the girl actually texted him back! So i was thinking of doing something like this one day after class but i don't know if thats creepy or not! and maybe my friend was just lucky! And i'm also scared to do it because i dont know if she has a boyfriend! Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks
How can I make a girl happy during her period?
I had been dating my partner for a few months when I woke up one morning and had completely bled on his sheets. We have always been really open about everything, but I was totally mortified and felt really bad. I offered to clean his sheets, buy him new ones, whatever, while on the brink of tears. He just grabbed me really tight and said “you’re beautiful and everything your body does is beautiful.” And then he washed the sheets himself, went out and bought me tampons and a heating pad. I will never forget the kindness and understanding he showed, as even growing up in a house with 3 girls, my dad was always completely grossed out by even the mentioning of a menstrual cycle. So, my recommendation is to listen to her, let her talk about it without shoving your fingers in your ears, and let her know her body and all its processes are magical, natural, and beautiful. Would it be weird to give a random gift to my girlfriend?
It depends if you want the relationship to get off to a materialistic obsessive start? What motivated the desire to randomly buy a gift for her? Fact is a weird act a delusion of grandeur, I am not so unromantic to say you thought you could buy love, but its a wrong motive? When you say, I wondered what your opinion was of this perfume and as I am hopeless with names, sorry whats your name, can you tell me what you think this perfume aroma reminds you of, do you like it, I thought of you and wanted your opinion. Also, you picked the wrong gift? Usually when a bloke in olden time started to date a chick there were only three acceptable kinds catergories or groups of gifts that would not cause offence. Books, Hankies and flowers. Perfume is something highly romantic a husband would buy a wife. Also you might want to find out if she is not dating someone else, I mean, buying perfume for a soldiers wife, apart from being pretty unpatriotic, is rather mean spirited nasty and unconscionable?
Is it weird to write a poem for a girl you barely know?
Does that make me too desperate? I've been talking to this girl and she kind of helped me when I was depressed and had no friends because I'm really shy, but all we do was text eachother, barely talk at school at all. And I told her I like her via text and she said she likes me back. Like not a love poem or anything, but a nice one. Is that weird?

I don’t have that much experience with women. But over the years, I have learned that women, especially beautiful women, can become uncomfortable if you compliment them on their beauty.What works better is to compliment them on some aspect of their beauty that they have agency over. Looks are just genetics, why should she be proud of that? But complimenting her on her good taste in clothes, hair-style, etc., that’s good. It shows that you’re paying attention, and you’ve recognized her hard work. Something few guys do.I’ve only gone wrong with that once, and that time I was congratulating her on her entire look. A clear outlier, given the thanks I have gotten from every other woman I’ve tried this on.And I’d be careful about telling her she’s beautiful when she’s happy - are you suggesting that she’s ugly when she’s sad or angry? :p But, seriously, moods are not something we have full agency over. It’d be better to compliment her on some personal quirk, perhaps. Again, show that you’re paying attention, that she’s not just some mop wearing a dress, or some sculpture for you to admire, but a person in her own right…
