Would Love To Lose Weight Help

I love sweets. How can I lose weight?

If overdoing it with sweets is your major roadblock when it comes to losing weight, try the following strategies:1. Restrict your intake of sweets to pre-planned days/times throughout week. This will help reduce your dependence on them for that sugar kick and help break up the every-day habit. It'll also help create a calorie deficit that you need to lose the excess weight. Even better, pair this with exercise for faster progress.2. Portion out your treats so that you don't overeat. For example, I allow myself 1 bite-sized Mars bar a day, so that's all I get. Once I'm done, I'm not allowed any more candy until the next day. It helps to NOT buy full-sized candy bars if you want to do this. 3. Eat slowly and savor every bite. You'll want to do this especially when your portions are smaller. Quite often, it's the mouth-feel/texture of the food we crave that we want, which is why we can't seem to get enough of it. Hunger isn't the driving force here.4. Speak to a counselor/therapist. Often, cravings for certain foods can have an underlying emotional link to them, and they can be triggered by emotions like stress or anger. Try going deeper than just addressing the food habit alone. Your therapist might be able to teach you how to divert your attention away from the sweets the next time cravings strike. Being accountable to someone else other than yourself will also take you a long way.5. Be kind to yourself. Changing your habits to encourage weight loss won't happen overnight. Chances are, it's taken you years to gain the weight, so expect to fall off the wagon a couple of times before making major progress. That's totally normal.Good luck!

Can rock band help you lose weight?

I want to lose weight but I love eating. What should I do?

1- Eat More Oily FoodI’ve been to several restaurants with friends and acquaintances who are rather overweight. One common thread I’ve observed is that most of these people who are trying to live healthy are conscious of ordering something that is less oily.First hard truth: Eating less oily food has nothing to do with your weight loss..2- Never Run On TreadmillWhen I go to gym, I see that 80% of people running on treadmills are fat. They are thinking that if they do it for 30 minutes everyday, some day in the distant future they will be slim.Second hard truth is: No person in the history of this world has gotten slim by running on a treadmill..3- Eat 4–5 Times A DayFat people think that eating less, 1-2 times a day, will make them slim. It’s true that if you starve yourself you will lose weight. What you probably don’t know is that you primarily lose weight by reducing your muscles, not your stored fat.I eat between 2500 - 3000 calories a day on average. I stay between 10-12% body fat at about 75 kg.When you starve yourself and reduce weight, you are basically losing strength and stamina. You are getting weaker. Before you realise you will develop lower back pain and what not. Just don’t do it.Third hard truth is: To reduce stored fat, you eat A LOT – like 4-5 times a day. And you never miss breakfast..So How Do You Lose Weight By Eating A Lot?You change the composition of your food from being carb-rich to high in proteins and fats. You will never have to worry about eating a lot or counting your calories.

Will swimming help me lose weight?

Yes swimming helps lose weight. it takes time though. i love to use swimming to help stay in shape because although you burn calories you are not overheating and sweating because you are in water. if you swim long enough though you will notice that you will be getting tired in the arms after a while. even the legs depending on how you swim. some people dont use there legs as much as they do there arms. its a great way to stay in shape and get into shape. i would also recommend taking vitamins. they will help you get taller and grow into some of the weight. because you are still 15 and young you have growing age so take advantage of that while you can.(you could be a bit taller with you only being 5'0ft) milk also for calcium ( chocolate is ok i hate white milk myself). Rice and crackers are a great way to eat less. these foods expand in your stomach making you feel like you are really full without having to eat so much of it. another big tip is eating slower. some people say chew your food 20 times before swallowing to let your brain catch up with what you put inside of you. you know the feeling if you have ever overate before and felt sick. but i find that chewing your food 20 times is a bit obsessive. my method to eat less is by eating small portions at my own pace but giving my body about 7 minutes before i decide to grab seconds or more so i can see wear my level of food is. i find sometimes i eat out of being bored and that is a terrible thing to do. find something to do that can keep you from doing that. it dose not have to be exercise related either just keeps you occupied. Best thing of all is to be confident and not to stress on yourself. stress never helps the human body in anyway. you are fine with who you are and as long as your doctor says you are healthy there is no reason to change. also remember no results will be instant. also you said you walk a couple times a day i recommend when you walk the next time you walk you walk more then last time also speed walk. its not running and is no even close to as bad as running. :)

Does eggnog helps you lose weight?

eggnog (while absolutely fan-FRIGGIN-tastic) definitely does not help you lose weight. think about it? all those eggs...carbs....sugar......fat......yeaa... only way to really lose weight is to exercise. i don't believe in that counting-your-calories ****.

eat what you want. BUT. you gotta exercise.

Will bike riding help lose weight...?

Biking for half an hour a day will make you lose weight, but only if you have a really healthy diet. and by healthy i mean killing yourself with a diet which only consists eating fresh salads, no nuts, maybe sprinkled with some raisins and cranberries mixed with a tablespoon of raspberry vinaigrette.. and water mmm-mm. and 2 months like that, you'll probably only lose about 5-6 pounds. like 8 pounds max. it really depends on your BMI. Bike riding really is a leisure sport up until you get dirty and sweaty, biking for 2-3 hours +.

Don't worry i hate jogging too.. but "pain is temporary quitting is forever" -Lance Armstrong

And also, biking doesn't make you lose much body fat, only leg fat since you only use legs to bike, where as you have to use your whole body to jog.
