I've been seeing my boyfriend for over a year. We are in a long distance relationship. We are both professionals in our 30s, he's a Physician and Im a Nurse. Six months ago he asked me to move to the state where he lives, i said no cause i thought it was too soon. Then few months ago i decided that i will move up there to be with him. He's really sweet and carrying. But sometimes he can be hot and cold. He can be so lovey dovey, then week after he withdrawn and stop calling for few days. He doesn't like to show his feelings much. He gets Jealous if i go out with friends or when i ignore him, when i asked him are you getting jealous, he said "i don't care" or he said" why don't you stay home and read a book". Why he is always asking questions if he doesn't? For example when we're on the phone, most of the times he's the first to say, ok i will talk to you later. And when i do it too, he asked an bunch of questions, like why you have to get off the phone, are you going somewhere. but when he does it, it is OK. Last month, to my suprise he said "i love you" for the first time, on a text though. I ignored it, he said it few weeks later while texting. Then when i asked about it, he said " i don't know if it's love, but i know im happy to be with you". He's so confused, he makes me sick. Im having second thoughts, i don't know if i wanna go to another state and deal with his attitude. We do talk about having a future together. He wants kids soon, but not really talk about marriage. I want kids too, but would like to get married first. I don't know if he's affraid to open up, since we are in a long distance relationship. Maybe when we live closer, things will get better. Im supposed to move in June. Now i don't know if i should. Please help.
