Would The Cause Of Bleeding From Nose Come From Hitting Back Of Head 10 Days Ago

My kitten hit her head, concussion, nose bleed, brain trauma?

Walking in circles like she is doing can be caused from any type of head trauma, or she could have fractured her neck.

You need to call a vet and work out a payment plan and get her to a vet, you are risking her life by not taking her to a vet.

I understand you are having money issues, but there is always a way to get medical care..Please call your vet in the am and work it out..

You will have no way of knowing what kind of damage she has till they can do a CT or Xray the poor baby...

good luck and I am sorry your baby is in pain...

Keep a close eye on her, and you do not need to let her sleep all the time, this could be being caused by blow to the head and she could be bleeding in the brain......try to wake her up every once in awhile, same with humans, blow to the head they will try to keep them awake.

call your vet, you will not know if has brain trauma till the vet can check her out.

EDIT: KIDDO,CALL YOUR LOCAL HUMANE SOCIETY AND SEE IF THEY CAN HELP YOU OUT, SINCE NO MONEY, OURS DOES IT FOR PEOPLE THAT CANNOT PAY, OR CAN PAY ONLY VERY LITTLE.

Can a head injury cause nose bleeds?

My son hit his temple about a week ago. Later that day he had a nose bleed and in the middle of the night..We didn't think much about it until yesterday. We know that he has had a total of 6 bleeds since he has hit his head a week ago. He may have had more but he hasn't been keeping up.I know of 6 that I have seen. He is on antihistamine and a cholesterol med for severe itching and high liver enzymes. He's never had this many nose bleeds. He just turned 18 so I thought all this stuff strange for someone so young.

I hit my head a few days ago and still hurts after 3 days?

It means you probably have a concussion. If you feel any numbness/tingling, start acting different from usual, blurry/double vision, clearish fluid coming from your ears, or slurred speech, then go to the ER.

If anything gets worse, also go to the ER.

If things are staying the same or getting a little better (or better than the first couple of days) then that's fine.

The only thing you can do for concussions is to rest or take some Tylenol for the pain. Don't watch TV, don't text, don't play video games, don't be on the computer if you don't have to be, as these can make your symptoms worse.

I hit my head on the edge of a cabinet pretty hard about 12 hours ago, I feel normal, but there's a bump, should I go to the doctor or ER?

It’s like this: If the bang truly jarred your cranium, particularly at the very top center (tpwards the back slightly) of your skull, then you should have it ‘checked out.’ The concern is that you have triggered and internal response which could, over the course of a few hours or more, cause internal hemorrhaging, and expansion within the brain-case (Concussion). The external swelling (bump) doesn’t really indicate much other than location of the blow. Since it’s been 12 plus hours without dizzyness, or numbness of the limbs (caused by an enlarged brain pressing down on the exit of the nerves at the spinal cord emergence), or tiredness, I personally would go with the camp that states to stay the course. Then again: If you are in a country with a uber-zealous medical coverage, then perhaps this is your chance for a brain MRI with contrast. I think having one of those done on general principles is a good idea, along with a Calcium CT of the heart area. (You may need to complain of temporal headache however,’ And KEEP a copy of the data for future reference!!)

Bloody Nose and Headaches?

What do you think the problem is? I get frequent bloody noses and Bad headaches. I just got over liver cancer. I was watching Blow and his wife dies of brain cancer after the bloddy nose in the resturant... It runs in my family and I am 48 years old... thanks

4th day random nose bleed?

I get nosebleeds almost EVERY night. I was told that the tissue in my nose is very sensitive from like, dust and weather... You should try taking a shower after your nosebleed to cool off. You don't have to pinch your nose by the way. I'm too lazy to hold it and when I let go thinking it went away, it really doesn't! (ha-ha!) I roll up tissue paper and stick them in my nose but not too far. Then when it's all dried up, I roll up another piece of tissue paper, soak it, then clean my nose out.

If you feel that it is a real big issue, you should call a doctor. Remember to keep your head down, not up! It will go down your throat! Also, don't lie down.

Good luck! =]

Is it normal for a nosebleed to last hours, losing a pint or two of blood?

Your friend might be having posterior nosebleeds.Anterior nosebleeds come from the front area of the nose (the cartilage that separate the nostrils) and are much easier to treat. Posterior nosebleeds involve the large vessels in the back of the nose and will bleed longer and heavier than anterior bleeds.I’ve had anterior nosebleeds, usually from dry sinuses, and I’ve had a posterior nosebleed. My anterior nosebleeds took about 20 minutes, at most, to get under control and involved minimal blood loss.My posterior nosebleed was the result of a severely dry and irritated nose (I live in Atlanta where we’ve been getting the smoke from the wildfires) and a massively deviated septum (It’s congenital and has been this way since birth, it doesn’t affect the cosmetic look of my nose, the ENT said fixing it would only partially help my getting colds and sinus infections). It lasted from about 1AM to about 5:30AM and my nose, face, body, pajamas, and bathroom looked the scene from the Shining with the river of blood coming out of the elevator. One of the larger vessels in the posterior section had gotten irritated and burst. It had finally stopped on its own, with what the doctor said was likely about 16oz of blood lost, which is about a pint.I’m not saying it’s definitely what your friend had, and I’m not saying it’s not, but it does happen.
