Are people considered more attractive when they lose weight?
When I am at my optimum weight,185,I feel great! and my confidence is back,and therefore I am more attractive. When I have too much weight on my body,I feel less confident ,therefore less attractive.
Is a pear shaped body considered unattractive?
I'd say pear shaped is more attractive then apple. I'm not even sure what apple is. Psychology has proven that men find women with larger hips more attractive. It goes back to the primal days with cave man & such, subconsciously they think of who would be the better women to have their children - the women with the larger hips are better for bearing children. Don't take this the wrong way & think every guy out there is looking for a women with larger hips to have their kids. Its a subconscious thing. Men go for women your shape more then any other

The problem is that many people do not know what curvy actually means, curvy doesn't mean meat on your bones but rather it refers to certain proportions that people subconsciously recognize as attractive. In white and asian cultures wide hips and small waist is generally considered attractive when they come in a thin woman, while blacks and some other culture prefer women with some meats on their bones and give preference to big butts and a curvy profile, not big hips. The case with JLo is that she's not as skinny and isn't really curvy according to certain cultural patrons. She has a big butt and big thighs, but she doesn't have a small waist or shapely hips, neither does Beyonce when it comes to unphotoshoped pics. Another myth is that hourglass is a common body shape or that curves are a black trait. Hourglass is very rare for most women, regardless of their race, but as counter intuitive as it might sound, this body shape is more common among whites, black women tend to have fuller thighs and butt, but generally have narrower hips, so it's easier for them to have the s line (breasts and butt), but it's even more uncommon for them to be hourglass (waist, breasts and hips). Latinas do not even belong to one race, they cannot have a particular body shape.
Guys, what do you consider an attractive waist line?
Less than 28 inches waist, less than 32 inches hips, but it also depends on height and overall build. The important thing is that the waist must look much slimmer than the hips and chest. That's my opinion, of course, not a scientifically proven result.
Why are tall, skinny women considered the most attractive?
Is it because they stand out? Most women aren't that tall AND they have some meat on their bones. Are men turned of by the "average woman"? Are most girls unattractive? Just curious....

Actually, not trying to be a b*tch, but an hourglass figure is defined as having a bust that is 10 inches bigger than your waist as well as hips that are 10 inches bigger than your waist. As in- 46", 36", 46". I design clothing as well as having an hourglass figure- it is definitely attractive. Also, it is scientifically proven than men are subconsciously more attracted to women with higher waist to hip ratios (something about procreating).

He thinks she's the most beautiful woman in the world, and much of that has to do with the fact that she is unquestionably one of the kindest, gentlest people you could ever meet. And guess what? You would never find her body-shaming a plus-sized woman, though she has received body shaming from some for being thin. She is lovely inside and out.I have a friend who is very curvy, plus sized, and her man thinks she is the most beautiful woman in the world. She is funny as can be, kind, a great mom, a wonderful partner, and also does not body shame others.People are attracted to whom they are attracted, and this makes them neither right nor wrong. The only “fault” lies when they make anyone feel badly about their own preferences, or their own bodies.
