Would This Engine Be Suited For A Two Person Go-kart

Cars and Automobiles: Do we need to know car driving for go-karting?

No. I don't know Car driving and I have been to Karting a number of times. The basic Karts have minimal controls and are very easy to drive. All the controls you have in a Kart are an accelerator, a brake and steering. Ever played Dashing cars in Trade Fairs or Theme Parks? The controls are more or less the same - hit the accelerator to speed up, brakes to stop or slide, and steer your way around. The transmission is automatic, so you don't have to worry about changing gears (which is a major factor why it is easy to drive Karts without having knowledge of car driving, where car stops if you don't change gears properly). For casual Karting, you don't need a license. There are many Karting tracks in major cities. You can directly go and drive. But for professional Karting or to participate in races, you need to take care of license and other formalities.

Go-Kart or Four Wheeler?

In a Go-Kart you can pretty much cruise around, "Trick-Free"...if you know what I mean.
But in a 4-Wheeler you can pretty much do any trick possible and create your own....If you want to compare between them two, its speed, air feel, and trick resistence...I suggest a 4-wheeler for your Taste!....ha! just like me!...If you got the extra cash buy both...because the Go-Kart...in my opinion...might be used a little bit MORE than the 4-wheeler....or just TEST drive them and then you can make up your mind, buy it and come have fun with me....*wink* ...lol

What is the best engine for making a 16-bit style game?

I vote Game Maker wholeheartedly. It’s the best game making program currently out there specifically for making 2D that is powerful, easy to use (you still want to do some programming, you won’t get around that) and is very very suited to low-resolution pixel art style games. You can create a game at a very low native resolution, eg. 320x200, then have it scale up to fill the user’s screen, with no blurring or any other artefacts, just crisp smooth pixels and 60fps, it’s FREE, but with the pro version you can deploy to multiple other platforms like Linux, iOS, Android. web etc. with ease.Unity, UE4 are amazing but you’ll be fighting an uphill battle trying to make a 2D game in UE4, and while Unity has an amazing 2D mode, it’s better suited to high res 2D games and 2D games with 3D assets. You need to jump through many hoops to get it to render with pixel perfect accuracy, due to the fact it’s backed by a 3D engine instead of a 2D one, and at the end of the day you’d be wasting your time when Game Maker already exists. The second vote is the new Tilengine, it’s completely free 100%, it’s based around a very fast “raster engine” which means all the parallax scrolling effects, colour blending, 7th mode SNES type 3D, sprite scaling & rotating, layering etc. is all at your finger tips. It runs at native low resolutions then scales them up to fill the user’s screen, and after that there are high res filters it can apply, like fake CRT effects. Seriously, check out the examples on the site - they are not clips from actual SNES games, they are examples made from the ground up in Tilengine.

Which wheel drive is the best one for golf carts?

Sir,A conventional golf cart has two wheel drive. But, nowadays 4x4 golf carts are also being manufactured and used in abundance. The 4x4 golf carts are more powerful for obvious reasons and can traverse rougher terrains with relative ease. You can take your 4×4 golf cart where regular golf carts cannot go. Additional power and four-wheel drive make sure you won’t get stuck while heading over some rocky roads. Carolina Golf Cars has a wide selection of these golf carts, which are not meant for playing 18 holes on a quiet Saturday afternoon. If you want a golf cart primarily for the golf course, the two wheel drive would be perfect. But, for those who seek to use these carts on rougher terrains like traveling in and around agricultural fields, exploring off roads, etc. 4x4 golf carts would be ideal.Regards,Team Moto SolVisit us at: MOTO SOLFollow us on Facebook: Moto Sol | FacebookFollow us on Instagram: Moto Sol (@motosol) • Instagram photos and videosFollow us on Twitter: Moto Sol (@motosol96) | Twitter

What are the different types of powertrain systems we can use on a SAE Baja buggy?

I think you wanted ask the different transmission systems. Because power train means engine, transmission, drive shaft, differential and till the wheels. Basically power train transfer Power from engine to wheels. For Baja cars engine or motors depends on your type of competition you are in. If you are participating in MBaja then you should use IC engine and if you are in EBaja then you should use electrical motors. Now about transmission.manual shifting gears boxCVT.In manual transmission you can customize your gear box or you can use gear box of commercial vehicles. For CVT transmission you should buy CVT or if you have enough knowledge you can customize CVT and that CVT should be coupled to gear box. Again you can couple it to commercial vehicle's gear box by fixing that gearbox in a constant speed ratio or you can customize a gear box to your required reduction ratio.I am suggesting CVT with customised gear box. So with your engine torque your CVT will give .43:3 ratio and and rest required torque you can achieve by gear ratio of the gear box.

How does one become a NASCAR driver?

Most professional drivers have booked time in all sorts of racing events - from drag racing to racing on ice to dirt tracks to off-road racing. It's hard to point to one type of racing and say "drivers who are good at [x] tend to become professionals."Still, as far as NASCAR is concerned, a lot of racers have experience on dirt tracks racing Sprint cars. Sprint racing is relatively cheap, it's easy to find a track in most places in the US, and there are so many different varieties/leagues that racers can find something that works.Legends race vehicles, for example, are sort of like sprint cars (you could say they're wingless sprint cars, essentially, only racing nerds might argue with you), as they run on dirt, they're cheap, and NASCAR racers Kurt and Kyle Busch both ran in a legends series in their youth. However, if you want to become a NASCAR driver, the type of racing you do is only a part of the puzzle. The trick to becoming a great race car driver is: getting behind the wheel at a young age andhaving a passion for racingThe problem is, racing - even youth racing - costs a considerable amount of money. Between the cars and engines, the crew that services them (which you can do yourself if you're mechanically inclined, at least at the junior levels), tires, fuel entry fees, etc., you're going to spend thousands of dollars (or tens of thousands of dollars) a year. Even something uber cheap - like youth go kart racing - is a few thousand bucks a year...a new 50CC cart is $3,000, a helmet and fire suit is $500-$1000, and then you've got fuel, tires, fees...it's not cheap.IMHO, auto racing is a sport for rich people (and their children). If you've got money, you've got a chance to become the next great NASCAR driver...or to put your kids in a position to become a pro racer.Don't get me wrong - it takes skill and training to be successful - but I'd guess some of the world's greatest racing talents never get a chance because their parents can't afford to pay their entry fees.

Is it advisable to use a CVT or a shifter (manual) for the transmission in a go-kart (NKRC)?

The Total tractive effort [TTE] required at the wheels to overcome all the resistance force acting on the vehicle mainly depends on size of the wheels. Greater diameter of wheels need more torque and results in lower speed for same power. The selection of the drive is very important. CVT will avoid the selection of gear but at the same time it has its own disadvantages. The belt drive is always less efficient than the gear drive. Gear drives are thus positive power transmitters. Wheel speed is more in go-karts and therefore gear drive is best suited.Adopting gear drive gives better accleration. In case of retarding, since differential is not used, slipping of wheels occur in case of CVT. Gear drive at the same time will enhance engine breaking and retard quickly.Hope that helped.
