Would This Type Of Gun Accessory Be Possible

Is it possible for a gun to go off by accident?

Okay, everyone is entitled to their opinions. Here is truth. Anything that is manufactured can break or fail. Today's reputable gun manufacturers build in a series of safeties (internal) that need to be activated in order for the weapon to fire. Activating these safeties on most weapons means to put your finger on the trigger and pull. They use multiple internal safeties so that you do not have to think about them, and that if one fails the others will continue to work. So, no a reputable manufactured weapon will not fire if you drop it, hit the hammer, or anything else except pull the trigger.

Old time western revolvers could be fired by the shooter holding the trigger in and using the other hand to "fan" the hammer. That means using the hand to pull the hammer back and let it go repeatedly. This would cause the weapon to fire until he stopped fanning, let go of the trigger, or the weapon was empty.

There is no report of any weapon going off when it was placed into a holster, unless the person's finger was on the trigger. There are reports of Glocks going off if they were put into a coat pocket without a holster. This can happen if there are other items in the pocket that could press against the trigger. All the more reason to always use a holster.

What are good Air Gun accessories for my rifle?

I have a Remington Black Magic air gun. I am wondering what are some good accessories to put onto my gun. I would enjoy putting on a laser on my gun. What is a good quality lasting laser that would increase my accuracy? I found a few bore sight lasers that magnetically center to the end of the barrel or can be slid into the barrel its self. Will this affect my range and power? I am also in the market for a nicer looking and maybe a better scope. I have the original 4x32 scope that came with the black magic but it does not appeal to me. Will a 9x scope be too much out of my range? A bi-pod is also something i am looking into. I honestly really want to "bling" my rifle, but not for looks, but for the best possible performance and accuracy.

Is it possible to charge the NRA as an accomplice to mass shootings?

Interesting idea.In the right political climate, almost anything can be done even in a supposed Democracy as witnessed in 1930's Germany with the krystalnacht, Reichstag Fire, and the events that followed. The NRA and other patriotic or traditional people are very much in a place similar to 1930s German Jews albeit withou the real or imagined connection to Bolshevism. Is it possible to charge mosques or Islamic groups for terror? It's easier to make connections there though the left misses it.How about charging gay groups as accomplices for the spread of certain diseases?Environmental groups who blocked clearing of beetle infested trees for losses firmer to fires as culpable for the damages?I'd be especially interested in extracting compensation from politicians and executives responsible for displacing US engineers and technical people with foreign visa holders were we to go that route.Outside the media driven hysteria, it is is pretty difficult to make a connection between criminal crazies who are quite likely unde the control of a greater anti-rights mechanism to start with, and one of the least violent and most law abiding demographics that exists. There's real wrongs that can be righted first.Or…just keep fanning those hate fires, keep facts and logic out of the argument, and we'll get those deplorable gun and bible types into the cattle cars yet.

For my airsoft gun, crosman c11 airmag, is it possible to upgrade it?

Pellgun oil is a blend of 20-weight motor oil and an o-ring preservative, and works well with the AirMag C11 as well as other Co2 air pistols including the .177/4.5mm types. Use a drop of it on every 2nd or 3rd Co2 cartridge and your AirMag C11 will last for years.

DO NOT use airsoft lube on the Co2 cartridge, it is too thin and causes leaks. It is a very common misconception for airsoft veterans to do this, and ruin the seals in the Co2 mechanism - and it gets a bad reputation as a result.

You can use airsoft lube on the BB feeding and trigger mechanism, and the inner barrel it works very well.

I agree that you can't use colman propane in a Co2 replica and Wal-mart has you covered for the cheapest 2-mag pack, the cheapest laser attachment and the cheapest ammo (that works well in many non-tightbore airsoft replicas)

How to connect my blow gun nozzle to my air compressor hose?

Bought a standard cheapo home depot air compressor with nail guns. All good so far. However it didn't come with any blow gun accessories, so I bought a 7 pc kit (HD link at bottom). However, there's no way to connect it to the air hose. Am I missing something? How can I get a compressor kit plus an accessory kit, and not have a coupling at the end of the hose?

So - what part do I need to get? Male/female? It's been hard to search google/amazon for. Any help would be great. Thanks,

Is it possible to electronically hack a gun to malfunction and fire or fail to fire?

This question could be interpreted several different ways.Is it possible to electronically hack a gun to malfunction and fire or fail to fire?Generally no. The vast majority of consumer firearms are mechanical devices with no electronic components or dead simple electronics like Flashlights and laser pointers that do not interact with the firing mechanism. There is one notable exception. The Armatix iP1 pistol is a “Smart Gun” that uses RFID-based technology to enable or disable the weapon based on proximity to a wristwatch. To my knowledge the security of this weapon has not been tested. Given the remarkable security failures in electronic gun “safes” and the unremarkable quality of the mechanical parts of the gun, it is highly likely that a motivated attacker could hack it several ways. (Sidebar: I’m willing to try to hack one of these, but I’m not willing to spend $1800 to do it.)Is it possible to modify a firearm to give it new capabilities?Absolutely! Depending on the firearm, you can change the gun’s caliber, barrel length, rate of fire, bullet spin, trigger sensitivity, weight, ammunition capacity, and a plethora of other variables. This hackability is one of the reasons the AR platform is so popular. It’s modular and accepts a massive number of accessories. A security researcher handled Deviant Ollam has a fantastic talk on this topic that’s available on YouTube.HTH.

Does the right to bear arms include accessories like suppressors, etc.?

Some items are not permitted to the general public. Sawed off shotguns, automatic weapons, and suppressors have been illegal for years. Much of that is due to the lawlessness that developed during the Prohibition era. Silencers (suppressors) have a lot of misconceptions about them. They do reduce the noise levels, but they do not make the firearm “whisper” as portrayed in the movies and on TV. There are other restrictions on military grade weapons permitted to the public. I cannot legally have a RPG, mortar, etc. The “bump stock” as a permitted accessory has long baffled me, though I read that they may soon may be banned. I can buy one. I can buy an AR. Both are legal, but if you combine the two, it would then be illegal. Extended magazines have been illegal off and on. Personally I think some of them are a bit silly. Why would I want a very long magazine on a .45 when it would stick out far past the weapon itself, but that is just me, to each their on.

Is there website where I can purchase gun parts to build a gun piece by piece?

Yes, this is a popular hobby, supported by many vendors. My go-to sites are Brownells and MidwayUSA, but there are dozens of others. You can get a lot of what you need from general-purpose marketplaces like Amazon and eBay too.The reason this is possible is because modern industrial manufacturing techniques involve standardized, interchangeable parts. If you need to replace your car’s brake pads you don’t buy a whole car, just the brake pads. And since the dimensions of a 2006 Toyota Camry’s front brakes are well known, you have a wide variety of choices from various manufacturers and vendors. Order whatever you want, pay with your VISA card, take delivery via UPS at home, and do it yourself some Saturday afternoon. Similarly, if you have worn out your barrel, or if a different style buttstock tickles your fancy, you can get whatever you need to repair or upgrade a firearm, or even build one from pieces, with one tiny but hugely significant exception:You can’t get the part that makes it a firearm that way. You’ll have a box of accessories that can’t go bang. Each firearm has one component that is critical to its being an operable firearm. Typically that is the part that serves the same role as the chassis of a car or the frame of a bicycle, known as the receiver or the frame of the firearm. Everything else (brake pads, trigger, mirrors, sights) is just an accessory. The receiver’s manufacturer assigns it a unique serial number before it enters the stream of commerce, and (since the Gun Control Act of 1968) its possession is tightly regulated by the BATFE.You can order the frame or receiver of a firearm from dozens of websites. But they’ll only ship it to your preferred local FFL (federally licensed gun dealer), not to you directly. When your FFL notifies you the package has arrived, you go there in person and submit to the full background check, usually via NICS. If you're not disqualified they'll hand over your frame or receiver to you, exactly as if you had ordered a complete firearm online, which is exactly as if you had purchased a complete firearm from that FFL’s inventory. So to answer your question: Yes, you can buy a gun kit online, in exactly the same way (and subject to exactly the same restrictions) you can buy a complete operable firearm online.

What cleaning tools do I need for my gun?

I have a Mosin Nagant M91/30 rifle. I know I will need a cleaning rod but what length and size? My understanding is that a .30 cal cleaning rod will fit my gun. Will I also need a bore guide? Can someone let me know what I will need and if possible post links? Also what should I use as a solvent and what should I use as gun oil?
