Why do female warriors often fight semi-naked in video games?
1. They're not really fighting, so practicality wasn't an issue here. 2. Some gaming companies still believe the demographic of their games are largely adolescent to early 20 white men. Think back to the AAA games you've played for the past couple of years, majority of the protagonists (player characters) are white straight male with dark short hair. It's not just female,other minority groups (black, Hispanic, homosexual...) are also grossly underrepresented. 3. Some game developers seem still live in the early 90s when majority of the gamers were indeed white straight adolescent males. Their marketing strategy hasn't change in the past 20 years, and they're still marketing towards this demographics. And because some of their games had been successful, this become a proven method. The article argued that even during early years of video games, games didn't have a very clearly defined demographics. But when the company marketed the games, they arbitrarily make it boy-orientated to make the marketing campaign more focused and more effective. So eventually, the perception of "game for boys" weren't even from the gaming industry, but a rather random decision by the marketing folks. 4. Some developers justify their misogyny by making it a commercial issue than a social issue. Sex sells, companies exist to make money, so company make sexy female warriors for their imaginary demographics. That's pretty much the logic. 5. Many believed that games targeted female gamers are casual games, and are generally despised by "hardcore" gamers and some (self-proclaimed) real developers. Even when 60% of gamers are indeed women, I've met developers would roll their eyes and say "playing facebook games doesn't make your a gamer" at E3. 6. So instead of having realistic strong female characters people can relate to, you have paper thin half naked sexy femme fatales like this. We have produced military based games which pretty much limited player characters to be male. But we do offer female characters as an option in MP, and our female soldiers are designed based on real life female battle armors, and everything is fully covered and protected just like her male counterparts.

He also faced opposition in a government dominated by Quakers who wished for more peaceful approaches and greater self rule but not independence.Mr.Adams did what the people believed to be impossible. He rallied the leaders of each Colony to declare independence from The British Empire, he rallied France to support the American Colonist in their independence war and along with this helped write the US ConstitutionMr.Adams also routinely called out slavery as unjust and illegal. Mr.Adam’s maintained Christian values while also believing that an armed uprising against a tyrannical empire was the only way to ensure independence for the Colonist.Now that’s a badass
