If WW3 began tommorow who would be the axis and the allies?
Well it would depend on the beligerants. Presuming that the United States were involved, i'd suggest Russia to be the power fought against as a war between the USA and Europe is unlikely and China is very much looking toward economic reform and gaining a better footing on the World stage. So, assuming that Russia strikes first or gives just cause for a US strike the US would be able to count on Britain, Canada, Australia, Japan. Europe wants to bring in a unified army so if it were after that happens, Europe. If not, most states in Europe would back the United States due to the Russian threat on their Eastern borders. Israel would be on the US side but you have to believe many of the Arab states would side with Russia or in the case of placves like Jordan and other regional allies stay neutral. Few would likely want to publicly attach themselves to the United States Coalition. India would likely stay neutral as the conflict would not be in their sphere of influence, a decision affected by whatever Pakistan did. Cuba and Venezuela would side with Russia but the US would be able to find enough support in the Americas to make it really irrelevant. Some of the former Soviet states may side with Russia such as Belarus. China would wisely stay neutral, knowing a war between Russia and the US would devastate both and leave them as the worlds only Superpower.

It should be starting sooner than later... I believe that the nations involved will include middle east nations such as Iran and Syria as a jumping off point, but the global damage will be caused primarily by the US, China, and Russia... This will be a devastating but relatively short lived war, 3 or 4 continents will be hit with multiple nuclear bombs, these bombs are 10-100x more powerful than the bombs we dropped on Japan... This is where the FEMA camps come in... They will persuade or force you into the FEMA camp, under the guise of a "safe haven", in reality, many in these camps will end up wishing the bombs had killed them... After WW1, the League of Nations was formed... The goal of this organization was to use the tragedy of WW1 to form a world government controlled by the same bankers who funded the war... The US never joined their organization... After WW2, you have the United Nations, also formed by the same bankers that funded all sides in WW2... This organization has been subverting the US towards globalism and collectivism ever since... To the point where the Sec. of Defense recently told congress that the US seeks the approval of the UN, and NOT the approval of congress before using military force... After WW3, they're going for it all this time... Either by consent, or by force, they will have their world government out in the open... The real horrors will start after the war for most, especially if you're a Christian, or if you're too libertarian or conservative... They already have intelligence on us all, they already know what category you fit in... For those who are not red-flagged, once things are normalized, you can expect to live under the full implementation of Agenda 21... Who would China side with if America and Russia started WW3?
China would probably wait, hope for mutual devastation and then step in afterwards to claim the role of global super power. China's proximity to Russia would make them a powerful ally of either side. China will do what is in its long term benefit to do and in the case of a war between the top two militaries in the world, China would be best served by being the voice of reason while subtly encouraging both sides.A devastated Ameruca would not interfere with China's hegemony in the Far East. A devestated Russia would not be able to interfere with a Chinese land and resource grab in Siberia.China is in a win win as long as the war does not go nuclear then they are as screwed as the rest of us.

About like this (see below) which is why that isn’t going to happen. Both nations have shown, over the last seventy years, that they are well aware of the threat of nuclear annihilation and will make every possible effort to avoid putting themselves at risk of nuclear annihilation.

First off, Russia is only pretending to be Chinas ally. They might work together in the UN but economically they have near nothing to do with each other. Vladimir Putin knows that China has its greedy eyes turned towards Russias abundance of poorly defended natural resources in Siberia, and he knows that it's only a matter of time before China decides to take them. I strongly suspect that Putin would side with the West in fighting China because of this.

good answers guys three scenarios: West vs Muslim East China+Russia vs West Israel vs its neighbours and a escalation how about this scenario: USA is fragile looking from a historical prespective, we saw in katrina we saw in 9-11, the empire has losts its glory and expanded beyond its capacity thats what i think. EU (mostly Germany+france+others) is growing and flourishing and due to its geopolitical status is most likley to be a rival to USA and or Russia, if EU can unite. China is a huge upcomer but this late awakening will need much resources to fuel it, i would think the leaders wouldn't engage war. Russia's Putin is looking stronger than ever, finally a sober president at the Duma, and he speaks of old Soviet glory, definitly a huge shake to Diplomacy. Finally, i would think WW3 has already began, its first battle was the in the Persian gulf and goal is to conquer or atleast spread influence over the West Asia and North Africa. the combatants are all the above
