I have an Xiaomi Mi 4. After a few days, it showed a message like "SIM isn't activated". I put my SIM card in another phone and registered the number. It was registered there and showed as being in service but my phone is still showing it as out of service. What do I do?
Don't get panic.Its a xiaomi framework problem.Xiaomi ensures that you are the one who is using your own phone and none else.Now firstly topup your sim card by at least 10 rupees. If you have jio sim then no need of it. As xiaomi framework needs to send a text message from that sim card.Remove the simcard. Go to back up and restore under the settings.Wipe factory data reset, it'll ask you the password for your xiaomi account. (Back up all your internal storage data beforedoing this)It will turn of find device and will wipe the data and reboot.Now power off the phone.Insert the simcard and turn it on.Select country as india and follow the process. I have a Lumia 640 currently as Windows insider programme member, and it has 5″ screen, LTE SIM, NFC and a SD card slot (currently with a 32GB ultra card).— That said, O2 recycle only offers £13 for a 16GB iPhone 4. It is really obsolete now. Lumia 550 can be had for £60…70 new and much cheaper second-hand, like £30…40.Since it can’t play music according to question details, too, the other uses for it are limited.
