After how many generations are you not considered family?
This is something that can differ among people. In other words, it is personal opinion. Most people would not know a 3rd cousin if they passed them on the street. However, there is no genealogical or genetic rule about when a cousin is no longer part of a family. It is just how a person views it. Now a lot of people when they figure cousin relationships leave out the removes as they don't know about them or don't understand them. The removes come in when you are in a different generation coming down from a common ancestor. Children of siblings are first cousins to each other as they share grandparents. Children of first cousins are 2nd cousins to each other as they share great grandparents. Children of second cousins are 3rd cousins to each other are they share great great grandparents. and so on. Your first cousins' children are your first cousins once removed, not your second cousins. That is because your grandparents are their great grandparents. You are also a first cousin once removed to your parents' first cousins as their grandparents are your great grandparents. Now as far as marriages, in the U.K. and in many U.S. states first cousins are allowed to marry. I feel it is a little too close. However, if you go back into your family history you will find cousins of varying degree that married.
What would you consider the greatest guitar solo of all time?
Well of course this is a tough question, but I’m always happy to play. Here are some that I really like.The Knack - My SharonaI love this solo. It has a great flow and balance between slow, melodic parts and faster more rocking licks. Even the more standard licks are imbued with some nice phrasing…just a great solo.Matthew Sweet - Divine InterventionRichard Lloyd is one of my favorite guitarists. He’s so damn good at expressing himself on guitar that his solos cross the line from being a musical statement to a pure expression of emotion and feeling. This is one of his most successful solos in my opinion, but he has so many good ones (also see Evangeline and Ugly Truth…also pretty much all of the stuff he did with Television (with another great guitarist, Tom Verlaine).Matthew Sweet - GirlfriendRobert Quine is another favorite. I could choose a million things but this is his most accessible. Perhaps no guitarist is so adept at expressing himself through pure noise, but beneath that is an amazing grasp of melody and dynamics. Very sad Mr. Quine is no longer with us. Another cool album I like his work on is Lloyd Cole Don't get weird in me babe…and of course Richard Hell’s Blank Generation.Link Wray - anything by Link Wray. The guy was a force of nature.The Pixies - DebaserPeople who studiously play the guitar and attempt to sound like their idols…sound like their idols. Joey Santiago, to me, seems like a guy that loved a wide range of music but had no idea how to sound like his idols…so he just kind of took a stab at it and also added a bunch of weird stuff that sounded good to him and he ended up being one of the most original and influential guitarists of his generation. Great stuff.The Buzzcocks - BoredomTwo freakin notes. That's it. Showing everyone that you don't have to be a virtuoso to make exciting music. Also, see the Ramones I wanna be sedated, which as far as I can tell is kinda only one note but still awesome.I could go on and on. There’s too much fantastic stuff out there and too little time. But that’s a start. I tried to pick some gems that I think will probably not be mentioned by other people.
Is 24 years old considered old?
what do you consider as old?as soon as we stop to grow we start to age. 24 years olds often show a skin with fine lines and get crow’s feet while laughing. their skin has lost firmness compared to when you were 19.some 24 years olds looked like teenagers a couple of years ago but now look more like 30. few have barely aged and get still carded.24 years old women are considered much less attractive by most of men compared to 19 years olds, their bodies is no longer at its peak. men are luckier but on the look department 24 years olds are not in their peak in the eyes of 19 years olds women who prefer in general men closer to them in age.Overall i would argue that by 20 we are old in the sense that our bodies progressively get worse in both looks and efficiency. although looks is much more evident at 24 than performance, unless you’re a top class athlete.there is a reason if the military is not that much willing to accept people over 22 as recruits , there is a reason if in many countries you cant join the army after age 22–26. and that’s simply because of aging.some parts of the brain might keep “growing” up to your age but there is barely any difference between 20 and 24. so this progress is very little and nothing compared to the damage done to your body and quality of life caused by ageing.Those who affirm of “having grown” had strong experiences that changed their attitude and look at life. Try living isolated with no job and let’s see how much you’re going to grow .. from 4 to 8 you ll “grow” mentally regardless of interaction. even from 16 to 20 you will (weather you’ll “grow” at 18–19 i dont know i would argue i stopped growing around that age) . but 20 to 24? you “grow” like a person can grow from 30 to 34. it’s just that at 20 you’re usually much less experienced than a 30 years old so this comparision might raise eyebrows.now of course at 24 you can still do a lot of things but your body is not what i would consider “young”. chances are the aging disease has already deeply impacted your body.
Why would nuclear power be considered clean, considering all the waste?
Because Nuclear power IS clean.The waste issue is a set of distortions by people who don’t like Nuclear Power.Most waste produced by nuclear plants is not nuclear waste at all- is packaging from the plant cafeteria ‘Nuclear waste’?Most of the actually radioactive waste is only very mildly so- a banana or brazil nut is radioactive enough to classify as ‘low level radioactive waste’. Do you hear Greenpeace campaigning to ban the banana?Most of the high level waste is fuel. Calling it spent fuel is wrong, as it can be reprocessed into new fuel, which massively reduces the volume of waste. There are two problems- it’s expensive, and nuclear fuel is cheap due to left over material from cold war bombs, and reprocessing is a good way to get the material for nuclear weapons.Fossil fuels are dirty. Coal and gas both release lots of radioactivity ( Radon from gas, Uranium and Thorium from coal) as well as particulates, SOx and NOx Gasses, CO2… In fact coal is so radioactive, in the month of the Fukishima accident, Japan received more radioactivity from Chinese coal burning than from the reactor accident. At Three Mile island, standing at the plant gate during the accident gave you a radiation dose lower than you’d get from going to Colorado for a week.Complaining about Nuclear waste as a reason to oppose it, without even trying to address the issues, or calculating how much waste alternatives would produce is downright dishonest.Nuclear is the cleanest energy source we have for most of the world. SOME renewables in the right place ( i.e.solar in the desert, not in Scotland) are good, but with the difficulties in large scale storage and long distance transmission, nuclear wins.

- keep the dishwasher full of dirty dishes not clean ones - file our taxes - get rid of our wart - not buy any new cloths only used except underwear socks and bathing suits - have at least half our dinner plat filled with greens and veggies every night - go to the gym - get outside more - finish our racial lives and get our wings for our ddo toon - have a gay encounter - do more recreational drugs ie experiment - go thirty days with out busting a nut - be more compassionate in our judgments - send a letter to our obsession
How much does a used model decrease when the new model car comes out?
Used cars depreciate. That's a known fact. How much each individual car depreciates is hard to tell. If you want to know the estimated value of a USED car, there are several web sites where you can find price quotes... Starting with Kelley Blue Book (KBB.com) or the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA.com) If your car is already sitting on the used car dealer's sales lot, it's unlikely that the dealer would lower the price by any significant amount just because a new model year car has been introduced.
Why do religious people think whatever someone wrote in the Bible or the Koran or anything else is the actual word of God?
Someone had said they had believed and it continues generation to generation. Even some religious books say that they are actual words of God. No one knows the truth. People who want to believe believe and proceed. Belief makes wonders. All creatures including human beings are ruled by spirits. They possess according to the mental state of the human beings take them in the path they desire. God never bothers who believes in Him. God doesn't watch each and every human being at the same time and cannot live with each and everyone to guide them. These works are done by the spirits. God had created different kinds of spirits for various purposes. He had made the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits, not for human beings. Spirits are separate elements. A human being is not a single spirit. A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, interests and everything. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. Brain is just a media to connect the spirits to your mind. A mind is just a computer's mind. After the destruction of a computer completely you will not get it's mind. The same is the case with the human beings. Soul is nothing but an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.
Have you ever played a Star Trek role playing game?
Actually, I ran an STTRPG campaign when I was stationed in Hawaii. I used the old 1980s-vintage FASA game, and as TNG hadn't yet hit its stride, I ran the campaign in the same time period as the TOS movies. The players were the senior staff on the USS Lexington (same type of ship as the Enterprise-A) and everyone seemed to enjoy the game.
How to get over someone you cant have?
Long story short because whenever I talk this I get carried away. My mum has this friend who she was super close with back in her home country. Last year we went back for the first time in years and we met up with this auntie and her family. I met their daughter whom I apparently was friends with when we were little kids but I cannot remember. Anyways I end up talking to their daughter for abit and I pretty much fell for her on the spot. Now I am back home and I cannot seem to get over her. I have told my parents about this and personally they dont think too much about it as they think its just a little crush but I am feel very heavily about this. I had depression for a few months because of this. Now I am coming to terms that the chances of us together is very slim so best to move past her but I cant seem to do so. Every night when I am by myself I just think of her. Is there any advice? btw I know its stupid falling for someone this hard while barely talking but it is what it is and Im not usually like this. And also i have been told to just date someone to take ur mind off it. Id pref not to. Seems too much like using that person. Any other advice Im open to hearing. Im trying to pack my day with as much stuff to do to distract me. But at night I just get so depressed and start thinking about her. And how she is doing. And no I did not get a chance to ask for her social whatnot cus with the amount that we talked it would seem too obvious that I am into her.
If PC hardware is many times more powerful than it was in the 70s and the 80s, but the software does not have any more functionality (beyond being friendlier), why does every new generation of software require even more powerful computers to run on?
I like this question! The handling of images and graphics of all kinds is something new. That work, which was not as common anyway was offloaded to specialized systems called cad systems. Images including drawings, seismic data, and voluminous scientific data like partcle collisions represented difficult challenges to mainframes. Remember, there was no internet.If you compare the hardware of a desktop Windows system to a Windows Server you will see that the server needs less memory because it normally does not service a graphical desktop.Just the difference in diskio required to handle images is stupendous and requires lots of memory and cpu. If we look at the difference in todays programming versus the old ways we do see differences that are driven by the old codes need to fit onto limited hardware. Let's take an example of a modern implementation of an old idea.A set of web browsers that independently render graphical displays via embedded markup markup driven by a centralized web server is architecturally equivalent to a 3270 display terminal system driven by CICS server.Looking at the differences though we see that the data and tags sent to the 3270 terminals to render is much more compact. The reason for this is that it was very common to have 8 or even 16 displays share a single 9600 baud line. A position and tag for the 3270 usually consist of just 2 bytes or 3 if it is a color display. On the server side, CICS was written to maximize performance and can dynamically build 3270 streams from template like pages and data pulled out of a database. CICS is designed to work with COBOL or PL/1. The server hardware contains special machine level instructions supporting packed decimal numbers.The HTML in the modern case is optimized differently more to enhance the user experience with images and embedded script supporting a wide variety of browsers. To save on network bandwidth the HTML data stream can be compressed by the server and uncompresssed by the browser which is possible with powerful CPUS on both ends. Another modern demand on CPUS is encryption which was not possible with 3270.The above example points out what are the typical differences. There are of course lots of things today's programmers could learn from the old techniques for squishing application onto a limited resource system, but today's programmers have an efficient programming paradigm to use if they know how to use it and that is a big if.
