Would You Dare To Understand

Does anyone understand the ending of the french movie "Love Me If You Dare" with Marion Cotillard?

most people seem to think that they drowned to death in cement (i don't know why) but that scene was just symbolizing there eternal love...it was set in concrete.they grow old together and they still thrive on the game they started as children.

To atheisists only..do you dare to answer??

For all you atheists out there, all who claim to be so "smart," yet know nothing of the universe, all you who refuse to believe something if you cannot see it, I say the following:

1. The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence.
2. You cannot "see" the wind, but you know it's there. There are effects caused by the wind, which you KNOW are caused by the wind, yet you cannot "see" the wind. Will you also say wind does not exist because you cannot see it?
3. A Lutheran astronomer once told me this: The more we know, the more we realize we do not know. In other words, the more answers we have, the more questions arise.
4. Crazy stuff happens in this world, some with NO scientific or "rational" explanations. For one thing, how can so many people with no history of mental illness witness ghost sightings? How can so many people with no history of mental illness become possessed? Obviously. genuine occurrences. such as these are exceptionally rare, yet they do occur
5. Miracles happen every day, some rational, some unexplainable, like somebody surviving cancer after they had a six month time table.
6. Most atheists are in denial or are angry with their religion. I have no respect for "atheists" who celebrate Christmas or other religious holidays. True atheists, however, I do respect.
7. The 2 people soldiers cry out for on the battle field if they are about to die:
-their mother
-God (or other religious figure(s)
8. People who do not believe in anything other than themselves are usually very jaded, depressing people. I would be, too, because that would mean we only have a limited amount of time; once your in the ground, you're done. That is a sad way to spend life. They are also usually stuck up, left hemisphere dominant, pompous, left-wing intellectuals who believe there is nothing that can be greater than they are (which if you look at it "logically," we are all bound to nature, so there has to be at least that which is greater than we are).
9. To further this theory, the definition of HELL is a life without God, another possibility of why so many people who do not believe in anything are so morose.
10. Intelligence does not automatically equal lack of faith. Many scientists are also religious. Science and religion are NOT mutually exclusive.

I have a question about the Bible.. Dare to answer?

I have found a number of contradictions which I couldn't solve, would you like to help? here are some..

2 Samuel 6:23 and 2 Samuel 21:8 - Did Michael have children?
2 Samuel 8:4 and 1 Chronicles 18:4 - 700 or 7000 horsemen?
2 Samuel 24:1 and 1 Chronicles 21:1 - Who provoked David?
Matthew 9:18 and Mark 5:22-23 - Dead or not?
Matthew 1:12 and Luke 3:27 - Who was Salathiel's father?
John 3:16 and Psalms 2:7 - Only begotten son?
John 5:31 and John 8:14 - Was Jesus' record true or not?
Genesis 6:3 and Genesis 11:11 - Life limited to 120 years?
Exodus 4:22 and Jeremiah 31:9 - Who was God's firstborn?

Thanks!

Would you dare to share 3 major mistakes of your life?

Yes, Sure!Mechanical EngineeringBeing in General CategoryAnd Believing “Beta Ye Karlo Aage Life Asaan hai” (Parents saying after this, life will be easy)These are the 3 major mistakes of my life. What I learnt was:Never choose something you don’t really wanna do. YOU MAKE YOUR FUTURE NOT YOUR PARENTS, LIVE YOUR DREAMS AND THEN MAKE THEM PROUD. ARGUE AND BE RATIONAL, THEY WILL BE HAPPY IF YOU MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND!INDIA has a very faulty caste Based Reservation System.“EVERYBODY LIES”- House, M.D. ♥️✌

What happens in the end of the movie " Love me if you dare" ?

The director explains the way he sees it: “Julien and Sophie’s story ends in a sort of grand finale in which love and death appear to be united. Do they really die? I don’t know! I think of the end as not so much a death as another stage, another test of their love. Their goal is to be together forever, and in some sense they find a happiness without end. But you can see this in different ways: if you want to see it as a tragedy, it is a tragedy, and if you want to see it as a happy ending, it is that, too.”

If "don't you dare" is the same as "do not you dare", why don't we use it anymore?

The original question is:If "don't you dare" is the same as "do not you dare", why don't we use it anymore?A friend of mine only says “Do not you dare” and it sounds funny, but then I realized it was exactly the same as “Don’t you dare.”Answer:We do use “Don’t you dare.” It is because “Do not you” was perceived as rather impolite because it seemed that “you” were being told to “not do” something that was not expressed until after the verb. The more rational version, “Do not dare, you” was also deemed impolite, because the “you” was being reserved until last and the “you” made it too direct. The most acceptable version was to artificially combine the words “do” and “not” into a totally new word: “don’t,” which, as a word in itself, is not separable into its component parts. The declarative form would then be “You don’t dare,” and the imperative form “Don’t you dare.” The latter, while urging a person to not do something, got the emphasis off the “you” and placed it on the verb, in this case, “dare.” This form was the least impolite, the smoothest, and therefore the most acceptable of all the possible versions."Do you not" vs. "Don't you" - English Language & Usage Stack Exchangehttps://english.stackexchange.co...Both are correct. What was originally just a contraction of "do not" has become a word in itself, and can now be placed where the two separate words can't.Both "Don't you..." and "Do you not..." are correct, but you can't re-expand "Don't you..." into "Do not you...".

If you could ‘dare yourself’ to do something, what would it be?

I’m in my last year of university, the most crucial time of my life and career..These days, almost all the time, I dare myself to focus on my life, my career, my personality… In short I want my focus to be me and my life only..And its not because I’m selfish, or I don’t care about my loved ones anymore..I have spent my whole life trying to keep everyone happy.. Its really hard for me to say ‘no’ to anyone, specially the ones I love.. Yet these days I’m trying to learn to do it..For the first time in my life, I want to be free.. I want to take my decisions willingly, with my own choice.. I don’t want myself to be constrained by emotions anymore…And these many firsts of my life are teaching me a lot..They taught me that “support” and “understand” are sometimes just fascinating verbs people use in their communication.. You must not be influenced by them at all.. :)Yes of course!! Expectations always hurt and you are an idiot if you say you don’t expect anything from anyone, because you do. always.. ;)You are exhausted and frustrated, yet they shout on you because you couldn’t manage to do something they told you to do.. dumbfounded?? :DYou came in this world alone so you are alone, you have to fight alone, you have to struggle alone.. so keep your eyes open, no one is there to shout “beware!!”Above all Happiness is a Choice, So I dare myself to learn to be happy with myself, alone..Thanks for reading.. :)
