I don't think it's literally crab meat, I think he named both the restaurant and the patties after himself, hence it's Krab with a "K" and not a "C". Unless the secret ingredient IS crab meat, in which case wtf is going on, Mr. Krabs and what exactly did you do with Mrs. Krabs?

I think it would help to know the location (Main St. Cafe, Georgetown Grill, Eighth and Ninth sts Deli, The Cafe on the Green, The Grill at the Rotary, The Deli on the Square. Then there are names: Rosies Place, House, Rest Stop, Haven, Cabin, Barn, BackYard, Porch, Deck, BoardingHouse, Lodge, Depot, etc etc Oh yes and those associated with Food or sayings. Like Spaghetti Eddie's for an Italian Restaurant (that one is taken and from an old poem) but whatever the main theme is. The Quarter Deck, The Fifth Outpost, Trader Tim's, Your Last Name, First Name, Mom and Dad's, The Chum Bucket or the Krusty Krab...ha ha

McDonald’s is a private business that chose to give specific names to its burgers. The Krusty Krab is a (fictional) private business, as well, and it chose different names to give to its burgers. That doesn’t really seem strange to me.
