Would You Ever Sleep In A Haunted House

Do You Live In a Haunted House?

I used to when I was a child. The spirits really freaked me out and I did not sleep on my stomach until I had my first son at age 21 because one bright sunny Saturday morning, something ran it's finger down my back and proceeded to laugh a very haunting laugh. I had only dealt with them before late at night when I could hear someone getting up and walking to the entrance of my bedroom door over and over and over again so for something to happen during the day was totally freaky! I slept with a night light for many years! They were not peaceful spirits.

Would you dare to sleep in haunted house overnight?

Not at all! I would be too hyped and wired to even sleep

Can sleep walking be caused by a haunted house?

OK so i am 19 years old and i have never slept walk in my entire life not even when i was a kid. But about a month ago i moved into this house that was built in 1900. I live here with my sister and friend and we have experienced some paranormal activity , orbs, mist, electronic failure, even as much as the feeling of being touched or watched. Just the other night my friend saw me sleep walk and i was throwing things away in a violent manner and was dropping stuff. She told me the next morning and i was astonished because i had no memory of it, and have never slept walk in my life. And i was wondering if my house was haunted could it cause me to sleep walk? also we have all had disturbing and bizarre dreams. Can my sleep walking and our dreams be caused by our house if it is indeed haunted? and if any of u guys know of any sites that would help me pls let me know

How does one manage to sleep in a haunted house?

After 15 Years of trying to share a space with one I can definitely say not easy, especially when they want to get your attention. My advice:Keep very busy during the day so that you are properly tired when you go to bed.Play a little music or better yet white noise in the room that you can fall asleep to, to drown out the paranormal noiseAnd I sometimes slept with the light on when things got to scary - it doesn't stop anything but at least you feel better than blind in the darkSharing a room with someone (or a pet) helps especially when you are frightened, although my cat split when she was bothered too muchTry to go to bed before 11, the later it gets the more active the haunting tend to get and this can make it harder to fall asleep.Sleep mask, ear plugs and blanket to cover your face if they like to breath on you and tuck your covers in to make it as hard as possible to get yanked off. These things wont work everytime, but it does help

As an atheist, would you be scared to sleep in a haunted house with no light for a week?

As an atheist, would you be scared to sleep in a haunted house with no light for a week?Scared? Nope.Interested? Neither.I mean, “haunted” houses are usually old abandoned houses. Which means roaches, rats, spiders, vermins, mold, dirt, broken boards, exposed rusty nails, broken windows, leaky ceilings, matresses that smell like wet dogs or pee, shit, general garbage, needles left by junkies, junkies and other stuff that might represent a potential hazzard for my health. And no light for a week means no internet for a week, no TV for a week, no radio for a week, no reading for a week, no comfort for a week and increasing the damage for all the bad stuff of the previous paragraph for a week. Why should I be interested?I don’t need to prove me that I am not afraid of ghosts, as I don’t need to enter to caves to prove me that I am not afraid of dragons or orcs.I am not afraid of things that I know that are imaginary. I am not a superstitious ignorant that can’t tell fact from fiction. So, no, I am not scared to sleep for any period of time ina haunted house with no lightsa morgue filled with corpsesa cemetery with open gravesany other thing superstitious ignorants are afraid ofBut I won’t do any of these things becausethese activities are unhealthythese activities are boring.I am not interestedI have nothing to prove.BTW, as you have read, nothing of this was written as an atheist but as a rational intelligent guy who has better things to do than to indulge into silly activities. As an atheist I just don’t believe in gods. Which is also very boring, since there is nothing to do. Fortunately I am a multidimensional guy and I entertain myself with other aspects of my personality.

I live a haunted house what do you think ?

1 Started with hearing a woman shout and my dog started barking like mad in the room that this happened.

2 Partner seen the previous owner of the house standing in the kitchen he is dead and we found a self portrait of him in the attic.

3 Creepy feeling like you are been watched when sleeping it is that bad i sleep on the sofa in the living room because you cannot get to sleep in the other room until it reaches daylight.

4 Banging noises like the place is getting shaken and wrecked but when you go look there is nothing out of place. me and my son witnessed this twice we thought someone had broken in.

5 Knocking on the front door at 3am we even called the police to check the area but they found no one this happened 3 times.

6 A man called out my name in the kitchen and my dog came running in again barking also dog was sniffing under the door and growling one night just before the banging happened that was saying about.

7 My son heard a woman at our living room window and called his name at 3 o clock in the morning and we live far away from other houses and people.

8 My partner now is getting cold air been blown around him when the room is warm with no windows open for it to be a draft.

9 Picture in living room fell of the wall i was just sitting there and also the nail was still in the wall so how could have that made it fall there was no vibrations to make this picture do that.

Finally when i am sleeping on the sofa which i have been for 6 months now i am starting to get a really cold shiver go from my head to toe that wakens me what do you think that is about anyone know of that happening to them in their sleep ?

Also if you think my place is haunted what type of ghost is that and what do you think it wants ?

It has got to the point were i cannot live here anymore as it is really creeping me out and the house is so dark also and i feel like we are not welcome at all here.

Would you stay overnight in a haunted house?

I do, every night. No one’s house is as haunted as mine. I’ve lived here 63 years, since I was two years old. I’ve seen it all, and you can, too. My twenty or so Quora stories, with pictures, about ghosts, are on my profile page. I had a creepy old woman ghost come and hover over my bed, in October, no less, right at the end of the month, in 2008 at 4:09 in the morning. This was my first sighting of one, at age 55. Before that, I thought they were all made up. Subsequently, I was kept awake all night by the annoying golden orbs. A guy ghost in an Oxford shirt, and Sears slacks, was surprised by me, while sitting on my dresser, and a doppelganger popped her cute little face up by the side of my bed, during my only experience with sleep paralysis. Outside, a rower or a pole vaulter was havin’ himself a time in my front yard with an oar or a pole; an old geezer in overalls was skee-daddlin’ away in mid-air. I saw five or six dogs, a big cat and a porpoise, if you can believe it, and I know you can’t. A cow’s head, also a dude from the 1800’s with a handlebar mustache just standing and looking into my kitchen window, inside my locked hedge gate.I saw a hollow-eyed woman swingin’ the neighbor kid, and three or four heads, very much alive, and later, a little girl ghost in a jumper was having fun watching, while I was sledding with my son, Aaron, in our yard. Happy Halloween, for real.
